Zombies that have guns can be looted for ammo(Rare, rare chance for getting weapons)

Maybe a survival game mode where characters people can’t recruit new guys.

Some find the game very hard. Myself … find the game far too easy. At lvl 80, just for kicks, I was still only using 2 guys with $1500 shotgun. Maybe having the easy mode give each recruit natural armor, extra clips would be better? With hard difficulty being no armor, rather than money.
Classes Specialize soldiers to certain tasks.
Recruits – Ability to recruit higher end recruits at not as cost effective prices. Maybe have them parachute in random locations for added entertainment :).
Rounds – Ability to hit (next round) so you don’t need to wait and have the ability to face multiple waves at once for extra difficulty or for testing defense purposes.
Buildings – Bunker (unable to fire out of, and made mostly for low health or looters for when ambush attack comes) Turret, I love turrets and ability to have a mode were you start only with say a engineer class and can’t recruit and use turrets and walls for defense would be fun :) Also when building having a system as followed would be nice to see. First building $100, 2nd building $120, 3rd $150, 4th $210 etc… thus to be efficient the person must use the right building for the job rather than just spamming them.
Also the def/hp is far higher than damage per second. This is very apparent in later levels where even with 5 best machine gun takes time to kill them, and my guys barely get any damage to them. Would be neat to see more of a 2 shot kill for both zombie and human. Thus providing more strategy I think.
Weapons, would be neat to see more variety of course but that is endless :) lol. So I think having the weapons balanced would be a nice update. Right now I can solo with one guy with $1500 shotgun behind a car with max armor and 2 biokits at lvl 80.
Pausing game, might be better to have a bar of “energy” that can be upgraded that allows the player to pause but not pause it every 2 seconds :) just added difficulty is all.
Speaking of cars that gives me a idea… Instead of building turrets maybe finding parts for the turrets and fixing it up like how the get away car works would be a better system? With the better turrets having harder to find parts?

Also if you need a list of testers just pm me, I love this game, although now I am starting the hard difficulty and killing one of my guys and playing just with that one for added difficulty… lol… :D

Right, just finished reading all the posts. The perk idea sounds really nice, and if I may make a suggestion for 2 of them? Ammo hog(Guy who basically carries an ammo crate on his back) and a medic, since it was really annoying for me to run back and forth between the front line. And then get hit by an ambush wave. Speaking of ambushes, how about tunnling zombies? You know, ones that just pop out of the ground and just want to give you a hug! Gotta think about strike packages too, but they’ll only be available in outside maps. …Weapon upgrades? Like bayonets or the almighty noobtube?

Thank you all for sugestions, we are now close to finish a perfect pathfinding for AI, also we made screen rezolution bigger , we will need testing in around 1-2 months, i will pm you all :)

i just finishd playng awaken 1, nice concept and grapichs but game is ueiiiiiiii to hard, add more ballance next time or add some extra eazy dificullty for noobs, if you need beta testing send me a pm.

This could be an story for the game (or a kind of survival).
Start
You and your team start in a building they know they are surronded by infected.They call for air extracion,but they will need to get to the roof through many floors and being followed by hordes of enemies that get stronger,hungry,smarter,and angrier each floor they advance.(There are three in your starting team how it should be)
Advance
The elevator doesnt work and the stair door(it should get harder to unlock each floor u reach_) is locked you need to place one soldier(gets xp from unlocking so it can lvl up too_) to unlock it,while the other two start defending,and constructing barricades.(you can recruit,buy armors,weapons,etc.,while advancing.)
The end?
When you reach the roof the helicopter is destroyed and now you need to get down fighting more hordes,but that is an history for another awaken.

Hey there, the squeal is looking pretty cool so far, I’m looking forward to that.
Are you looking for beta testers or are you going to just upload beta to kong or something? I’d be happy to help test it anyway (on slow PC).
Here’s a few bugs I noted from Awaken – Front Line:
- Space resets shot timers and allows infinite ammo exploit.
- Quality is set back to High when you use the menu to save (a GFX quality game setting might be best).
- Was a little annoying how you couldn’t tell someone to move where the tutorial text displays.
- Number of ammo clips doesn’t reset when you buy a new gun. e.g 7ammo shotty → vindicator = 7ammo in vindicator).
And some suggestions:
- Don’t deselect soldiers after issuing command.
- Allow selecting multiple guys (to focus fire).
- Unit groups e.g ctrl-1 to set. Could just make groups of 1 soldier by default for existing functionality.
- Double tap # key select and centre view on that soldier (or group).
- Starting stats of 0 or include stat reset please (so you can specialise everyone without suiciding guys).
- Transfer weapons & items between team members.
- Custom animation for minigun rather than just showing a rifle.
- Scroll a bit faster (game setting?) and allow mouse scroll when near edge.
- Zombie heath bars (ideally a game option to show/hide them for zed/soldiers).
- Floating damage numbers (option to disable too, for performance).
- Survival mode, where goal is to survive as many waves as possible with gradually increasing difficulty.

1. that bug is fixed in the new game, actualy all bugs are fixed and engen improved
2. yes we have a small problem , game is actualy on medium quallity almost all time because we dont want to risk lag but we will “fix” that in new game

1. Pressing Esc to cancel current selection. I found myself doing this anyway but alas nothing happened :)

I usually do this for games I like anyhow, but it kind of sucks finding the right address, so a link would be pretty sweet, perhaps with an explaination saying to close the old tab and go fullscreen with F11 or something.
I like how someones drawn Graffiti in blood too, lol. Will be lot of fun when it’s done.

lolz, grafity ideea belong to sunnydrake , i did add a few but … hmmm, im thinking of making a small contest , he who draws best graffity we will use it in game :),pixel art style , not bigger than 100×100, to fit with the soroundings
ABout drawing grafity in-game : that will cause some confusion to player “omg what must i do with this graffity” + engen is very complex as it is with much stuff + will not bring a real bonus to performance + will require extra work from programmer and he must code alot as it is

Good news, we finishd implementing first oficial mission(beside tutorial mission), darn that zombie he comed back for a tip he he he

Also introducing the NEW turn based mode when panic hits:

ps: make somting about deslection of soldier< a key that delectes soldier or make soldier to be deselected when playr cliks one more time on him or clik on another soldier plsssssssssssss because that part of controls was realy anoyng
