this game isnt garbage. its awesome. Just dont play like an idiot and you’ll do fine.
Ive beaten it and I started playing last night. took maybe 3 hours.
dont forget to use the forge.
Ranged weapons can seriously help in many instances. also, horses are useful too.
when dealing with enimies who use guillotine (i.e. far east empire) just take off all of your armor.
up your Con. and dont stick with just ONE weapon.
plan out your upgrades.
seriously people. its not that hard.

I thought Feudalism II was a bit too hard but after trying out some new characters I found one that fit for me. Niora of the East Empire is beast after you train up her Shuriken skills. I was able to take on all of the other capitals with no problem. All I had to do was chug down pots to keep on going.
Though getting the capital of the East Empire was a hassle since they kept on one hitting me… Then I found the aura skill Unholy Breath. That Aura is godly.

In my opinion, all these complaints can be fixed with one word: SKILLS
1: Army Max: Well, it gives you a certain number to work by instead of guessing how many you want… Also, with aura levels and later hero levels, you can fight and tank for your units until they can fight for themselves.
2: Rogue Issues: Random chance, I can’t say this game has no flaw, but it’s fine… Just try again. Sorry
3: Hero weakness: The hero, unlike in F1, is the strongest unit now. in F1, you were a lot more reliant on units, making the game more realisitic, but i found that this is an improvement as to general gameplay.
4: Potions: Hotkeys for potions would become tedious with 5 different ones. If you can click 10 times a minute(not hard) then you’re set with USING them-don’t complain there.
5: Weapons: GET MORE DEX. That’s all I’ll say, if you’re missing, then you haven’t been allocating your points well. Also, get more points for your weapon skills. In F1, the points in patriotism and war were the only ones really important, now stats have gained in value as well as weapon skills.
6: Army Upgrades: F1 wasn’t changed. Besides, using passives makes your guys stronger until you can hold yourself.
7: Everything not taught in tutorial was based on a common sense ideal… I really think the name is a misnomer since no1 has it. IT’S IN BOLD ON YOUR BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER: STATS!
8: Conquer: It’s not that hard, save up for a ship, go to smaller countries, pwn them, level, use other city’s powerful equipment, pwn bigger cities, keep going up, own the world. There!
9: Champion Fighting: It’s actually easy. Just fight harder. As you level, you can beat them or with a little skill (NOT MUCH) walk away when they jump for lightning jump thing or gullitone when the letters come up…
10: General Gameplay/Rating: The game was fun. Those negative reviews show very simple to solve problems and seriously, they must suck. NO offense meant, but they must suck at this sort of game. EPIC FAIL i think they say… GLitches? Yeah, but all games have them. Too small army? Aura+Passive=Raady. Not to mention if you have a lvl 3+ 2nd tier skill of any weapon, you pwn the units in one hit at smaller cities and medium cities. The tutorial lacked, but again not perfect game, F1 wasn’t perfect either.
Your hero is 1000x stronger than your units if you stat allocate right… geez stop complaing retards… use a little common sense and you realize how easy it is… Just a note

I like the game, in the beginning its really hard but later on it gets easier as you get access to your nations strongest units. And i find the glitches funny. Guys just look its a free game, don’t expect it to be as good as a game you pay $50 for.

All you need to do is play a character from the East Empire, get high dexterity and your dodge should be through the roof. Game over.

You EVER tried that? Quite a lot, especially Empire and Desert units have very high critical. It is not so easy sometimes…
Oh, I see…you play on easy mode right?

It’s really not that hard even on normal mode to beat the games. The way I go around doing it is to do quests till you can take over the 2 star town, then keep doing quests and leveling up and keep taking over towns/cities till you get to the 6 star town in your country, then go around the world and take over the 4-6 star towns. Then go around doing the 7 star trade centers. Then go around finally doing the 8 star capitals, I suggest you leave the far east one for last. And when you do take on the far east, take off all your armor and pump points into CON if you don’t already have a lot, if you have a lot of CON, pump points into DEX so you can hit them more easily.
So, what do you guys think is the best weapon to use in Feudalism 2?
I personally think it’s the Katana, since it hits hard without extra skills, and with extra skills (namely the one where you kick and then attack) it is extremely powerful. Guillotine blade can kill town champs so easily. THe problem is it doesn’t have an AOE attack, so the katar is up there too.
I’ve only tried out staff, katana, katar, two handed sword, bow, and shurikens so far, so I can’t comment on too much.

katars. The multi-crit ability can take down at one shot almost any enemy, and meteor assault is just lovely against groups.

This game is better than the last one, even though there are glitches. What do you mean you can’t have huge armies? Yes you can, play easy. If you want a slight challenge, then do normal. The characters have the same sprites as last game, they are not any smaller. You can upgrade your character, go to skills. I do agree with you on the aura and magic stuff though, it is poorly executed. The flag ones are hugely overpowered. The city hall layout and combat layout is not extremely different, it is almost the same thing. I do agree with you on the tutorial, it was inane. The upgrade thing is awful indeed, the way you can just keep losing your weapons if you upgrade too much is ridiculous. It makes you want to kill the mason. In real life, there would probably be such a thing as army too big. You wouldn’t want to win through sheer numbers, and an area affect could destroy your entire army. At lvl 20 you should be able to kill rogues at least, but once you get an occult rune or conquer a capital or large town, you should be able to win quite easily. I found a glitch where if you keep attacking Nagoya, even if you lose it will suddenly give it to you. Nagoyas troops are hugely overpowered, Holy Cross’ are slightly overpowered, and forest lands and Black Horde are pathetic.

Fuedalism I for me was fun and easy you play of half a hour and your done
This one makes it harder to play, wtf is a town hero? I thought you owned the town.
there needs to be a mana potion.
get rid of the army cap
rouges shouldn’t be stronger than you.
Hate the map.
Adding a new horde was an so-so idea.
If i chose the guy samirui than i would get a girl ninja.
I’d go back on this and see what you could improve on for III
It’s only a flesh wound.

This game isnt hard at all. My char had max str, dex, far east weapons, and dual weapons. Using dual stellar ninja-to +10s, the double jump skill(under dual weapons skills), and pots, I would back up against a wall and keep using the skill. This worked in every place including on the shogun ghosts. While backed up against a wall only enemy can attack you at a time so you don’t get double teamed. While I was doing this I would hold down the space key and every time they did guillotine would use the X and Y keys to make myself full health. I didnt use auras and had random passive skills since when I made my char it was my first time playing. I never used a horse and found that teammates(except for shogun ghost which are 100k each) were a waste of money and just got in the way. When I got shogun ghost teammates I would just run around and have fun using other weapons since shogun ghosts are so strong. The other fun weps i would use are eclipse +10 and white ghosts +10. If you use this tactic you can beat the game quite fast while having fun and making alot of money(I had 9mil from selling items and doing rogue quests in the beginning).

I liked the first one a lot better! Feudalism II gives you absolutely no choice except for spamming health potions. That is what all those boring rouge battles are for. It forces you to make money and you get capped on your army so what do you have left to spend when you have the best units in the game and just can’t beat the next territory because your level/skill is too low? You buy mass amounts of big health pots, spamm them like crazy, use the auras to heal your troops and then rinse and repeat.
I don’t see how this is a strategy?
You can also cheat like crazy in this game. You should have automatic saves not this manual crap. Especially when you have a weapon upgrading system. Seriously now what were they thinking when they did this?
Spamm pots and abuse the upgrade system by saving before each upgrade otherwise you’re in for a lot of frustration because this game just doesn’t deliver. You would get further if you could choose a unit in the game as a hero.

Easy win with minimal effort. Pick the mongol horde female and slum a fast 15 levels to max out aura.
banshee will do 75 damage to all enemies on screen per second at a cost of 20%ish of your hp, good thing she has the self heal aura! So add no con no hp + armor and no horse to keep total hp low. She will heal all the damage banshee causes until about level 30ish.
After 15 in auras start pimping the horsemen passives and use those horse archers the mongols have. Enchant 2x of the + 30% horsemen damage runes on whatever crap weapons you started with. Once you get creeper archers from just before taking out the capital, move to forest lands and take out ra- good. The Great hero horseman will hit 200-250 always and has over 1300 hp.
The trade republic chick is similar expect no banshee which makes the start a bit rougher. She heals her troops via aura tho so passive backed horsearchers → great heros with her works a treat as well.
Cheers!

I really liked Feudalism two. You can upgrade you character. It’s basically the Feudalism I + Two new kingdoms, more weaponry, special ability, weapon upgrading and the ability to buy a ship instead of constantly paying ridiculous sums for on trip (very important).
So in essence, if you like Feudalism one but not Feudalism two, you dislike weapon upgrading and paying less for ships.
On the other hand I missed out small armies, which, for me is absolutely unbelieveably stupid.
I get round this by using easy mode. Yeah I use easy mode, sue me.
