I used to play runescape but however now I now consider it as one of my forsaken games…… Why dont you try Minecraft instead. The graphics may look bad but the gameplay is impressive…

Both MineCraft and RuneScape are great games, I just don’t play RuneScape anymore.

Do you know what a classic is?

runescape was good until about 6 months or so ago when everything started going downhill, and now the game is on its death bed. it wont last another 2 years.

jagex sold out, its as simple as that. they gave up on the game.

As crappy as it is, I highly doubt that it’ll die anytime soon. If the old players leave, new players will always fill them in.

I don’t play it anymore (actively) because I was hacked.

Jagex is still making money and running the games.

they are going for maximum short term income at the expense of the long term. they no longer care about the future of the game.

I played Runescape, I think I had a quite high level actually, I had way too much attention to spend on that game when I was in primary school :p I think that I was called Gotenks or something, but I had some numbers on it I can’t remember. Ah those were the good days, I remember spending soo long grinding bones to get my prayer up. I think I stopped playing around the time the giant mole turned up around camelot, and the main reason that I quit was because my cat ate a shark. I mean., what the actual f? Why the eff can a cat east a shark? I mean… the shark would be bigger than the Fing cat :( Besides that I thought that the game was actually really well designed for a free to play/optional pay game, I mean I know games that give you a lot less with no option of playing free, keep gaming guys!

I had stopped playing Runescape a few years ago. Today I logged in and I discovered something: Jagex does everything to get more money! Squeel of Fortune, Loyalty Programme? What has happened to this game?

The Bots have overran the game. I like it but they outnumber real players and getting a resource is immposible no matter how many servers you hope. 10 people at chinchampas!

Not only that! The company doesen’t give a shit about you. As long as they get their five bucks then you don’t exist. They have the worst customer support I have ever seen.

Go to the bottom of the homepage and change the language to German. Way fewer bots.

I used to play it, forgot my username, so I created a new account. I completely forgot what it was like, I don’t think I even got through the tutorial, but seeing this made me think to try it again
