Infantry Online

It is an old game that has top down view of combat. You can have a large arsenal of weapons and vehicles to choose from to fight each other. There are many maps to choose from and an active developer community. I recently look it up again because I couldn’t find a similar game on flash based games.

I’ve tried many MMO flash game that involves soldiers fighting on kongregate and other sites. What I find in common is the crazy lag that comes with these games. Multiplayer games are ok, don’t get me wrong, but flash (or even html5) just aren’t ready yet for real time multiplayer games.

The community for infantry is growing, and hopefully I’ll see you guys on there. Screenshots and videos are on the way.

That is the link for downloading the launcher. Very low requirement game.

Is that a referral link? If it is, then I’d like to ask you on behalf of the community to take it down, as it portrays a poor image of you and the community of the game, as well as defying the rules of the website.

Ive tried it before, but i have NO idea what im doing, and i couldnt find any guides.

It seems like a blast, so id be willing to play it if someone showed me how.

Could you post some screenshots? Also, the slogan on the website is a little creepy IMO

@MossyStump – This game was made back in the days by a company call Harmless games. It’s logo was a teddy bear with a stick of dynamite. “For infants by infants” was their slogan, supposedly a play on the word Infantry. Anyways, I think they kept the slogan for nostalgia sake more than anything :)

We have a guy currently making game play videos and a site with screenshots. As soon as he put it up I will link it here. Believe it or not, this game used to have thousands of players playing, making fanfics, songs and drawings for it. Ah, ok. Well, thanks for clearing that up, the game looks pretty interesting.

the game has many modes:
CTF (capture the flag)
Skirmish (team deathmatch)
Chaos (deathmatch – anything goes)
Sport (dodgeball, soccer brawl)
Survival (zombie zone, friday and weekend only)
