Does anyone here play EVE online?

Because i’ve been looking into it… It looks fucking awesome, I’m wondering if it is as good as it looks like it is, and if it’s worth getting.

Take 14-day trial(learn some weapon skills, try some professions).
If you like it, get 21 day trial on the forum and pay for this account. (bonus money from inviter, because if you pay for extended trial, sender of it will also get 30 day gametime bonus). For this account first deal – Learnings (these skills increase training speed, earlier get – earlier paid off), and, preferable, focus on something. Jacks of all trades are pretty weak if compared with specialists.

This game become “game of spreadsheets” very fast, but enjoyable on many levels.

When I played, Caldari was the easiest race to start (their rockets can hit exact enemy weakness), Matar was best PVP race, and Gallente best AFK race.

Thanks for that, I was planing on the trial, It seems like a fun game to play due to the fact that there are no rules in it.

The thing about EVE is that the awkward controls and painfully slow gameplay eventually leave you in a situation in which you have more fun updating your skill queue and watching the clock tick away than you do playing. If you’re thinking it’s going to be some high-speed ship combat thing, it’s not. Battles can take a few minutes to several hours; and even low-end missions can take 20+ minutes, simply due to the painfully low speed of… Everything.

Also, if you leave hisec you’ll get stomped by Russians.

Also, when Dust goes completely live; EVE’s economy will crash and burn.

But, if you insist on trying it; I definitely advise you to use trials. And play Caldari.

my cousins play. i will also be playing dust 514 when it comes out. pretty excited to see how those will play together. very cool concept.

I play eve online. the game is definitely not for just anyone out there. As others have mentioned its a slow paced game but it also has a rough learning curve. it is difficult to do stuff at first but once you understand and know where you want to go in the game it becomes fun. I’m known to talk with people more than actually play myself. There is a PVP based or a mining base. I am more a mining toon than i am anything. PVP is not my style.
