Does anyone know any good rpg games that don’t have a level cap? I prefer 2D rpg games. Wether it is an mmorpg or an rpg doesn’t matter.

It’s not finished, but the beta will start in january.
Topia Online has no such level system as other mmo’s. You “buy” your skills (there are pretty much of them), paying with influence, and there are plenty ways to gain influence.

Only in shitty skyrim.
Morrowind doesn’t have level cap.
Try Elona.

Lol, you can’t even see the NPC faces in morrowind.
If it were oblivion at least, it would be better.
EDIT: Talking about oblivion, I think I will get it.
Played skyrim and loved, also, my computer (which doesn’t even have got a graphics card), might run it.

It’s not possible to not have a GPU.
And if you need a decent GPU anyways to be able to run Skyrim at all.

To level cap it in oblivion do mega crimes get arrested sleep in jail and you lose skill points which can be reerned and with 10 skillpoints means a level
Also another 3d is Borderlands you can get infinate Badass points across multiple characters. Also rumors speak of two worlds two being endless leveling.

There is one RPG on the 360 i have played where the level cap i think is 1,000 but the game itself is sort of meh, it’s called Enchanted Arms.

I never said I didn’t had a GPU.
I said I don’t have a graphics card, because I have integrated graphics, aka onboard graphics.

I’m afraid you’re asking for the impossible.
There is no such thing as an RPG with no level cap.
Because there will come a point at which values run into hardware limitations.

Yeah, there are limits, though it won’t keep some games from trying.

All Nippon Ichi games have a level cap, but a few of them have a max level of 9,999, so you might like those.

You can’t play Maple Story in Europe, at least I don’t think so anyway.
You used to be able to, then they shut the site down :(

One Game, No limit. Mabinogi. I know the game overall isn’t very good but it has no level cap. The “level cap” is 200, but when you get there you can rebirth and keep the stats and continue to level. There is no limit on rebirthing therefore no level cap.

A lot of PC RPGs can have their level caps removed by modding, you should look into it. There are some really good games on GOG, you should check it out.

Diseaga, even though the it’s a Tactical Simulation RPG like Final Fantasy Tactics, but the levels go up to 9999 and you also level up weapons as well. If you’re looking for something on the side of PC go with Lineage, no level cap there.

Well, with skyrim’s 1.9 update the level cap is essentially nonexistent. http://www.bethblog.com/2013/03/04/now-on-steam-skyrim-1-9-beta-update/
