And what’s with this “Runescape is the EVILBADEVIL whatever”? It just has worse graphics than most else, and better quests.
Runescape:
Graphics: -
Quests: +
Everything else: -
Price: 0
WoW:

Everything else: -

Try out “Luna Online”. It’s in closed beta right now, similar to Ragnarok but very addictive. Not bad graphics and free for ever. Keep an eye out for it (or just try it out before May 3rd)
You can marry and stuff too <3

Cabal doesn’t cost any money at all.
Runescape is not bad because it’s browser-based , that’s the only good thing of it.
Cabal:
Good game
Nice graphic’s
Uber nice skill-effects
Nice Music/FX etc.
Loads of Quests
Not too bad Storyline
Fiesta Online
Great game
Awesome gameplay
Loads of dungeons
Good friend-system
Awesome Quests
Cool weapons and Armor
Anime Graphic’s , which ARE childish to most people.
Nice Music/FX
9Dragons :
AWESOME Game , seriously.
Great storyline
Loads of Quests.
Good choice of Music.
Chinese fighting-techniques.
Awesome graphic’s
Loads of grinding (Which most people dislike.)
Awesome people on it.
WoW
Great game
Awesome storylines.
Nice graphic’s
Mostly no lag.
Loads of Realms (Servers)
Smooth gameplay.
Loads of nice guilds.
Cool armor.
Costs a lot in most EU countries.
Dekaron
Great game, just check it out , too lazy to name all the points :D
Well , this should be enough for you guys!

Well, that depends on if you want to download or not. . . I know for browser play, though it’s weird to say, RuneScape is probably one of the better ones you’ll find. I don’t know of many browser MMOs that are actually decent. . .
For a download, I suggest Zero Online, if you like giant robots. I haven’t tried it yet, as it’s currently downloading, but Rappelz Online also looks like it will be fun.
If you do eventually decide Pay to Play is for you, I highly recommend Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach. You won’t find a better combat system, better storylines, or a better community; it may not be as huge as WoW or Guild Wars or whathaveyou, and it’s definitely a niche game, but it’s one of those games that are highly fun and incredibly well-made. It managed to drag me away from WoW, and I’ve never looked back. ;P (Then again, I can’t stand WoW anymore. After playing other games, it made me realize how poor of a game it was.)

Well if you wanted a browser-based game, try Sherwood Dungeon. Runes of Magic is good, but the client is 4GB though. But if you want a GOOD game, try Guild Wars. I know it’s not free, but it’s a one-time fee of $20 if you’re in the US, for one campaign, and $50 for the set. Guild Wars rocks!

Try Maplestory if you like smashing your CTRL button until your fingers are sore (no, that’s what it really is) for hours just to get a level.
I have come to conclusion that there are no good free MMORPGs, only bad ones that try to steal your money by selling semi-mandatory items that make the gameplay at least half-playable. (EG. item that saves 10% of your EXP when you die, which on later levels equals days of grinding, costs 5 dollars or more)
