riddle 0: before the 5 riddles appeared, there was a counter page that contained a base64 string as a comment. The bytes, XORed with the value 6D (109) revealed the string “What is that noise AGAIN?g” (the g is not a typo, was part of the string). One hypothesis is that somewhere we must use “harps” again, as in the game. Another is that g (ASCII 103) represents another Bible passage, maybe John 10:3, where God uses his ‘voice’ to say something poignant. We don’t know how that original puzzle applies to the new ones.
riddle 1: the color codes are:
1EFF00 FF4200 1EFF00 [x] 00FFA8 FFA200 00FFA8 [x] 00FFDE FCFF00 00FFDE 1EFF00 FFD800 FFA200 FF0000
[x] [x] FF00C0 00FFDE FFD800 00FFDE FF00C0 FF5555 00FFDE FCFF00 00FFDE 1EFF00 FFD800 FFA200 FF0000
,but no one knows if they mean anything.
riddle 2: telnetting to the server in the hint lets you enter values from 00 to 99. A string is returned for each. The complete list is here: [http://pastebin.com/5sn0uF9h](http://pastebin.com/5sn0uF9h)
the problem is that they are not valid base64 strings. First because = is a padding character and there is a lowercase letter after each = sign. Second because if you remove the letter the length is not dividable by 4, which make it of illegal length.
Being that all letters after = are lowercase, I doubt they are part of the base64 strings, but not impossible. Moving the last character to be the first yields a valid base64 string. The result is 101 bytes. Now, being that 100 is a round number, maybe that is the correct number of bytes.
Anyway, I XORed and ROTed all the resulting byte arrays and got nothing readable. I tried by moving the lowercase letter to the front of the string, removing it completely and three other characters at the end, removing it completely and three other characters at the front.
riddle 3: the song is : [http://weeniecampbell.com/wiki/index.php?title=Joe\_Louis\_Blues](http://weeniecampbell.com/wiki/index.php?title=Joe_Louis_Blues) and on the left audio channel there is a Morse code line reading: “195.154.83.3425547,22547,25447,22457THEN1255”
195.154.83.34 is the IP of thalie.studiocime.com. No idea where you have to enter those numbers. So they somehow relate to riddle 2?
riddle 4: On December 19, 1972, Apollo 17, the last manned mission to the Moon, returned to Earth after a 3 day mission. The guy in the picture is Harrison H. Schmitt.
Contrast/brightness/color level changes don’t reveal anything in the picture. Taking the original file [http://www.apolloarchive.com/apg\_thumbnail-test.php?ptr=242&imageID=AS17-134-20382](http://www.apolloarchive.com/apg_thumbnail-test.php?ptr=242&imageID=AS17-134-20382) and overlapping it on the riddle picture didn’t reveal anything added or removed. There are stars in the riddle picture that do not appear in the original, but I couldn’t find any pattern.
riddle 5: lol.

Yeah I found that as well, but I don’t think it’s part of the game. If you run it in ISO-8859-1 you get the following: [http://pastebin.com/gh1v3EeG](http://pastebin.com/gh1v3EeG)
It appears to be Adobe XMP data for the images. It includes the following links:

did the website just go down, or was that only for me? I tried searching the sourcecode for the answer to riddle1 (I couldn’t see an answer as to why not? and typed in #36B37B as the answer. Now the website isn’t responding to me. Any ideas?

The site is down. But maybe you broke it! :D

The site is back.
PS. I’m wondering how riddles’ pages ([http://mu.database.studiocime.com/show.php?r=1](http://mu.database.studiocime.com/show.php?r=1) r=2 etc) aren’t found in google search. Almost on every web page there is a file named “robots.txt”, which doesn’t allow to track the website. But on this page this file doesn’t exist. Maybe “txt” from 5th riddle is connected with this? Maybe there is hidden .txt file on the page?

Some thoughts.
Riddle #1: the colors are arranged in a peculiar pattern:8 columns of 2 rows and 7 columns of 1 row. The count of colors in each group give the numbers 3, 3, 6 and 7. Does that mean anything?
Interpreted as binary 8-bit numbers: 11101110=238=0xee, 00111111=63=0×3f, 11111110=254=0xfe. Only 3f can be interpreted as standard ASCII: ? (question mark). #ee3ffe is a nice purple shade. #eefe3f is yellow.
Riddle #4: so the difference between the pictures is the stars. Why aren’t the stars visible on the original moon painting? I believe we can photograph stars because the atmosphere diffracts the light. A star from the moon would be a dot of light so tiny it doesn’t stick on the photo. If I’m correct, the puzzle photo tries to tell us it was not taken on the moon, but on earth; i.e. the moon landing was fake – a well known conspiracy theory.
I suppose someone could try to find the positions on earth where that particular night sky would be visible, but that seems like a lot of work ;)

I think the answer to riddle2 is Isogram but heres a question. How do we know when we have answered the question correctly? So far we’ve all been assuming that the riddle will unlock if one person enters the correct answer but what if that is not the case? And I’m getting off before I never leave, I’m not even supposed to be here right now.

(function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m) is everywhere in sources, not just riddle 2.

Isograms are words with no repeating letters, for example PATHFINDER [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isogram](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isogram)
Riddle #1: I found the numbers 192 and 168 inside some of the colors! (192=0xC0, 168=0xA8) These are commonly used in ip addresses for a local network, but I haven’t been able to piece it together yet. Disregarding all color channels that are 0xFF or 0×00 I get these 3 strings (the tallest rectangles in the last string) where “x” represent the empty spaces.
“1e 42 1e x a8 a2 a8 x / c0 de d8 de c0 5555 / de fc de 1e d8 a2 -”
Translated to decimal values: “30 66 30 × 168 162 168 x / 192 222 216 222 192 5555 / 222 252 222 30 216 162 -”
I also found that the background color (#181B20) encodes the ASCII value for “space” in its blue channel.

Riddle #1: 5555 could be a port number.

So, studiocime-website is down just for me or for everyone?

But function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m) is something from google adwords..

I said Isogram because, the site crashed again when I put it in lol. I’m still wondering about the answers though. ~~Now excuse me while I go beat my cat for attacking the light string. Again.~~ Please disregard that last statement

Hi,
Bad news: we have an important problem with our server, and this problem needs time to be solved.
We are working hard to fix it as soon as possible, but it will take time.
Again, we are really sorry for this inconvenience.

@StudioCime – Do you have an ETA for server functionality so we know when to check back in?
