Our server is actually completely dead. We’ve just finished migrate it on another of our server, it should be available from a few minutes to a few hours to you, depending on how fast the DNS propagate.

It seems that a new server (uranie.studiocime.com) was used for puzzle 2 for a while, even if the puzzle page itself did not change. The telnet strings now look different, and they are posted at [http://pastebin.com/ZP1QB5Er](http://pastebin.com/ZP1QB5Er)

The picture of the moon, as said before, has stars added. That could have something to do with the Moon Landing Conspiracy, one of reasons people believed it was a hoax is, that no stars were visible on any of the photos.

The numbers in riddle 3 look like port numbers, maybe some kind of port knocking? Hadn’t any luck though…

Also I noticed, that in the moon picture one crosshair was added, on the wheel. Not sure, why.

The croshairs are in the orginal too [https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7c/As17-134-20382.jpg](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7c/As17-134-20382.jpg)

The bytes, XORed with the value 6D (109) revealed the string “What is that noise AGAIN?g” (the g is not a typo, was part of the string). One hypothesis is that somewhere we must use “harps” again, as in the game. Another is that g (ASCII 103) represents another Bible passage, maybe John 10:3, where God uses his ‘voice’ to say something poignant. We don’t know how that original puzzle applies to the new ones.

As someone pointed out later, the RGB codes for each of these images are quite … weird. I created an image with the codes, and it’s [here](http://pt-br.tinypic.com/view.php?pic=lv9fl&s=8#.VHPC1MlXG3l).
I’d like to point out that:
1. All the colors have at least one full tone (255-code) and at least one empty tone (0-code) **except** for the middle one, 255.85.85.
2.
If we strip 255’s and 0’s from their codes, we gain the following sequence :
**Top row:** 30,66,30,_background_,168,168,168,_background_,222,252,222,30,216,162,0
**Bottom row:**
_background_,_background_,192,222,216,222,192,85 (twice).

Wow these puzzles look great.
Remember that the answer to each puzzle is (presumably) an alphanumeric string
The first puzzle, each rgb code will probably correspond to a letter somehow. Perhaps there’s a paint company that has names for rgb codes?
The second puzzle, it’s actually possible to connect to thalie.studiocime.com on port 1337. Confirmed this using the telnet command. Not sure what protocol, how to communicate etc. we’re supposed to use but I would say this is the starting point
That’s as far as I got

Regarding riddle 4, it appears that in comparison to the original photo the riddles photo has been cropped off slightly at the bottom, and there appear to be some contrast and saturation changes between the two. I haven’t been able to replicate them, and I have no idea if those details will relate to the riddle’s solution.

I think there’s something we’ve been missing here guys: the first thin you see when you enter the website is this message:
bq. Welcome everyone. The page you’re trying to access is currently locked for everyone.
To unlock it, you need to solve theses five challenges, together.
Theses challenge are incredibly hard, it is unlikely you can solve one on your own.
When one of you will solve it, it will be unlocked for everyone.
Help each other.
Good luck.
I think there’s a message here: “To unlock it, you need to solve theses five challenges, **together.** ”
Maybe it means that the riddles are linked somehow?
The idea came into mind as the developer likes thinking out of the box (Episode 1 of the game remember?), and because Siderite mentioned the ip address referring to thalie.studiocime.com in solving riddle 3 which happens to be also present in riddle 2.
What does thalie mean anyway?
bq. Thalie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The river at Eutonnoir, near its source
The Thalie (or Talie) is a short river in Saône-et-Loire, France.
It rises at Rully and runs for 21.7 km to Saint-Remy where it joins the Saône.
It has an average discharge of 0.34 m³/s, and its tributaries are the ru Guillot, ruisseau du Bois and ruisseau de Guerlande.
After checking [http://thalie.studiocime.com](http://thalie.studiocime.com) you can see plain text: “@uranie”?
Quick search: [https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranie](https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranie)
Uranie is the french word for Urania…

It was also a frigate… so, frigate, river…

Good find, Swiftblow! I should have seen it immediately. However there is no server that serves the picture. Devs, are you sure the image wasn’t supposed to be on mu.database or at least on thalie? With the game server going down I wonder if you didn’t forget to put it on the new one. (just as you forgot to update the hint text Answer ;-) )

Following up on the whole muses theme, this is the wikipedia page for the muses:
Erato and Terpischore are associated with the lyre, the closest thing I could find of a harp connection.
If you do try to use their names anywhere, make sure you try the French versions as well, Uranie is spelled differently in english, as is Thalie.

Apollo is also connected to the lyre (which is connected to the harp and the strings).
It appears at riddle 4 and at the french comedy (where Thalie and Uranie are, too).

One interesting fact is that the MP3 file has changed. Whether this is also caused by the server crash, I do not know. So there is no way of knowing if the current file is a new one or a backup from before a change in the game code. The Morse code in the current file doesn’t spell out “195.154.83.3425547,22547,25447,22457THEN1255” , but “J95.154.83.3425547,22547,25447,22457THEN125” (J instead of 1 and only one 5 at the end).
