I have yet to match any of the brightest ‘stars’ from the photo to a constellation. Others have said on IRC they ran it on starmap recognition site to no avail, leading me to believe it’s a hidden binary message via the changed pixel values between this photo and the original. No idea how to effectively grab that info.
Lock 1 I’ve made a handy image. From RGB things of note are that only the middle has all 3 values. Only the last has a single value. All of them have a value of 255 (highest possible) in either R or G—none have 255 in B, none have 255 in more than a single value. All of them except the middle and last have one 0 value. There are 10 total unique colors. [http://imgur.com/Ah1eK1F](http://imgur.com/Ah1eK1F) I’ve also included the negative space with its values, in case someone thinks it’s important (I don’t as it’s the same color they use in their html background).
Edit: I’m going to collect all images I make in a single imgur, you can see it here— [http://imgur.com/a/GZSsI#4](http://imgur.com/a/GZSsI#4)
I’ve also got the muted audio for clue 2 (before and after server crash) if anyone wants it.

For the first one, the colors they’ve chosen tell me that we should look at it in HSL or HSV space and not RGB. I’m pretty sure the saturation and lightness/value are constant and only the hue is changing. We should be able to something with the hue values (remember they are angles so it “wraps” around).
Let’s see…
113° 16° 113° [empty] 160° 38° 160° [empty] 172° 61° 172° 113° 51° 38° 0°
[empty] [empty] 315° 172° 51° 172° 315° [special] 172° 61° 172° 113° 51° 38° 0°
Yeah, it works… except for #ff5555
The special one (#ff5555) has hue 0° but HSV saturation is only 2/3 (66.7%) instead of 100%. All values are 100%
In HSL, saturations are at 100%, lightnesses are (I think, didn’t check) at 50% except for the special one which is at 2/3
(Can someone check my results, I did it very quickly, have to work…)

mobesa is on to something here, Thalie and Uranie are connected, both being ancient greek muses. According to wikipedia, the nine muses are: Calliope, Clio\*, Érato\*, Euterpe, Melpomène, Polymnie\*, Terpsichore, Thalie\*, Uranie\* (french version of names) (marked isograms with \*)
However, the server seems to have “@uranie” as a default answer, so nothing special with [http://thalie.studiocime.com/](http://thalie.studiocime.com/) :(
Thalie is the muse of comedy and Uranie the muse of astronomy. Maybe Uranie is related to the stars in the image riddle?

Correction: second group on top row should be **168,162,168**

Nicely done! It’s now showing “Solved by arcanmster on 01/01/70 01:00 AM”. I knew I should have tried travelling back in time.

One down, four to go :)
Should I post the solution or do you prefer to find the remaining steps by yourselves and have the satisfaction to solve the riddle? Or maybe I can post a rot13’ed version to avoid spoiling.

Feel free to do as you wish :)
Rot13 seems nice.

FYI, blue112 just confirmed on IRC that the first version of the song (the one decoded on page 2) is the correct one.

in addition to all of that, Uranie seems to be mother of one or two sons of apollo (apollo mission?!) linos and hymenäos, but i’ll get back to that later. There is also an asteroid named after her, “Uranie 30” ([http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/30\_Urania](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/30_Urania)). i really do think there is something in those stars of the moon.jpg.
Back to the sons: while linos is a musician, hymenäos is the god of marriage. Both are believed to either be sons of apollo and uranie OR apollo and Calliope. Calliope is the muse of string playing and a rather popular and famous greek instrument is The HARP. maybe we can put all of this together?

Oh i also found something to the song from riddle 3: Joe Louis (“The Brown Bomber”) died on april 12th 1981, he was quite the boxer with only 3 defeats in 71 fights. here are some important dates regarding him [http://puu.sh/d4VSu/a87a324d91.jpg](http://puu.sh/d4VSu/a87a324d91.jpg)

In Riddle 3 there is a voice in the background saying something. I ran it through the audio editor and it doesn’t seem like the words to the song. Maybe someone can double check it? The voice is without the morse code in the section 1:12-1:27.

it says “He’s a real fighter. I bet on him.
He knows just what to do. I’m talking to you” and is part of the lyrics. [http://weeniecampbell.com/wiki/index.php?title=Joe\_Louis\_Blues](http://weeniecampbell.com/wiki/index.php?title=Joe_Louis_Blues)
