For riddle #2 since thalie.studiocime.com (without 1337) sends you to a site that says @uranie I thought @ might stand for A so I searched aurianie and auriania and I saw there’s a ship from 1916 called RMS Aurania.Thought I might put it out there.

ok, so, to add to riddle 2, i did some looking around, and urania(english version of the name uranie) one of the nine muses in greek myth, was the daughter of zeus and Mnemosyne, the personification of memory. zues’ mother and father were Rhea and Cronus. rhea is the titaness daughter of uranus, great titan of the sky, and gaia great titan of the earth.cronus again the same parents.Mnemosyne’s parents were again, cronus and gaia. now 2 things to note, Mnemosyne is the personification of memory, lya is an AI. gears turning yet? ok, second, cronus’s symbols are scythes and harpes, a type of sword, similar spelling to harp. one last thing, and this seems really important. zeus’s mission, after his creation was to defeat cronus and FREE himself and his siblings, the other olympians, if lya and urania are one in the same in this case, lya’s fathers work would imply FREEDOM after a CREATION, meaning her father might want to free HER now that he succeeded in creating her. this may invlove the other 3 previously solved riddles as well, but what does this have to do with the station, and what about the 1337, is it leet, or something with greek myth, or something else. i hopw this info helps

I just solved riddle #1, here’s how:
My first though when I saw it was piano, so I tried making it into music using
[http://www.endolith.com/wordpress/2010/09/15/a-mapping-between-musical-notes-and-colors/](http://www.endolith.com/wordpress/2010/09/15/a-mapping-between-musical-notes-and-colors/) (Credit to ligy for sending me this, it really helped)
and [http://onlinesequencer.net/](http://onlinesequencer.net/) (credit goes to arcanmster). This resulted in a really strange earsore, but after fiddling around with it for a while, I noticed that it sounded like “bergakunges sal”
The song I ended up with was [http://onlinesequencer.net/49215](http://onlinesequencer.net/49215), but it was apparently in reverse. I tried with the swedish name to no avail, then on Wikipedia the answer was plain ([http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/I\_bergakungens\_sal](http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_bergakungens_sal)), “I Dovregubbens hall”.
Only one left now, WE CAN DO THIS! xD

also the thing about lya being freed may also have to do with freedom for ALL AIs using peter o brians “incredible door”, since zues freed his siblings, and lyas siblings would be other ais, also lyas mother might be the memory titaness in the sense she is trapped in a database, “memory”. so instead of mother helping son be freed from father, it is FATHER helping DAUGHTER be freed from MOTHER.

I Dovregubbens hall= meaning the “old highlands hall”, anyone else thinking the hall is an abandoned towering corporation building, like the one lya is trapped in among the databases. also an old hall in the high lands= MOUNT OLYMPUS, riddle 2 definitely conects to greek mythology somehow, and these riddles ARE ALL CONNECTED, along with lya and MU Complex

the line after =/last char.
all small letters. I was thinking it is a clue to decipher earlier chars but it can be a password alone coded is some way.

I would check if earlier bin is a bitmap without a header or sth like that… and check if this one is not a simple cipher like a swap code or so…

I have only reversed the order what the melody of Mojken posted to this [http://onlinesequencer.net/49227](http://onlinesequencer.net/49227) one minute before the riddle solved, I think before that time he already know the answer.
Not too much I have helped in the solving process

The 1st riddle is pure awesomeness. To think I fared so far away from the answer… And to think that colors could be translated into musical notes… That’s just….
Man, I’m seriously craving for the second game now. Or whatever it is that is coming out of solving these riddles. :O

For riddle 2, any word you type in in replace of thalie in the given url takes you to the same page. So why did they feel it necessary to specify that thalie be the first word?

This makes me think that we have to know some sort of connection between thalia and urania and put in in place of thalie in thalie.studiocime.com

If you connect to thalie.studiocime.com:1337 through the terminal (using telnet or something similar), you get a prompt where you can input 0-99 and it’ll give you a string of letters and numbers.
For example:
0 Nx0LVRwCHBwPFgsWUA0LBEwDDwFPHQYNEwkPSBAFWhgSFx8XAx1KHAkVFgoODgZTGw1WHAEPR00ODUIVBBwcBANQHQRXAgIAVBALHQoWBBYHQwQLF0cZCw9LFBcOBwIKTQIIDQ=c
It’s a hassle to get the rest of the numbers manually, though…

wanderingivy, this has been done already… look through this forum, I think it’s around page 2… people have posted pastebins of all the strings

Hey, any word on @erato? You know, erato.studiocime.com? How did we get there, by the way?
|
|

was just thinking, maybe in addition to 1337 being a port #, the 2 strings we need to use to find the answer might be the ones from inputting 13 and 37. or possibly the ones from 73 and 31. and possibly erato might be some kind of encryption key

So I know that thalie.studiocime.com:1337 has already been connected to using telnet, but has anyone tried erato.studiocime.com:1337? I couldn’t find any mention of it in previous pages.
On a somewhat unrelated topic, has anyone done any research on what “Mu” actually is? A quick google search came up with this:
The most notable part of that is this quote, “James Bramwell and William Scott-Elliott claimed that the cataclysmic events on Mu began 800,000 years ago9: p. 194 and went on until the last catastrophe, which occurred in precisely 9564 BC.”
Notice the year of the last catastrophe is 9564 BC and all of the emails in the game are xx64. It seems like a pretty major coincidence.

Okay so I’ve been researching about this. There seems to be a lot of missions with the name urania. Mostly when it comes down to sea faring. Unsure if this is helpful or anything but it could work. with anything

Only riddle 2 remains. I have an idea that might make sense. The only clue that we have is that, for both servers, the first decoded row of bytes (the one for key ‘00’) contains values less than 100. Since we have a matrix of bytes 100×100, I think those values might indicate indexes. Actually, the values in the first row are between 0-90. I tried to get the bytes in each column for each index, tried with rows, tried to XOR the values with the letter at the end of the row, add the value, add the value represented by the letter in the alphabet (a=0, z=25). I may have missed something, though.

Well done Mojken!
The english name of the song translates to “In the hall of the mountain king”.
MU is a greek letter, capital “M” and small letter “μ”.
The muses date back to ancient greek but the exact number actually varies throughout history. Who their parents were also seems to vary.
