For normal stuff: use RobotJam
Once you unlock, switch to: SirColton
For anything dealing with flips or boost multiplier: SirColton
For back wheelies: Spoke
For front wheelies: FartyPants
For getting pickups: BowlerBrothers (don’t have to jump for most stuff that you have to jump with with other guys, plus slow enough that you won’t miss stuff). Otherwise, RobotJam.
Sneaky start, Piano Chase, Haddock Chase, Moon 1st Place, and 10 Sec Rear Wheelie:
Also, does anyone know what “Spin” does?
If anyone needs assistance with any other achievement, ask… I’ll be glad to help.
I’m still getting owned by Haddock Chase… but I’ve managed to beat the incline ~15 seconds 2-3 times, only to get completely and utterly owned on a half pipe looking jump a bit later. The Haddock just easily jumps over it, whereas I lose a ton of speed in the process… and spend too much time going vertical, not enough going horizontal. Ugh.
I feel like you have to get a boost within the 1st 20 or so seconds, but it’s seemingly impossible. I’ve tried flips. I’ve tried front and back wheelies. I just can’t get enough stunt points to activate a boost while still going fast enough to not get caught by the Haddock.

in case you haven’t discoverd yet….to do the sneak start just press up right before “go” appears, so instead of “go” ,appears “sneak start” or something like this….and do you have any idea why i can’t unlock the walrus chase? thx (and if I manage to beat the haddock chase i’ll try to explain how i did it)
If it’s not unlocked, you should be able to roll over it and it’ll tell you what you need to do to unlock it. If you’ve unlocked it, but can’t play it, then you need to unlock the character needed for that race.
What you have to do is hold down your reverse (or brake) button when ‘on your marks’ and ‘get set’ appear. This rolls you forward a little. Then, just before it switches to ‘GO’, hold up. This has consistently gotten me a sneaky start.
Hope this helps =]
Actually you don’t need to hold reverse. Just press up right before the go after the set. It’ll say on your screen “sneaky start” I got it after a few tries. I love this game but the developer really messed up on Haddok. I also found piano too hard but maybe that was just me.
And I can’t get even close to enough front and back wheelies, or flips to get a boost. The clown car just isn’t made out for it.
Lastly I used man with no wheels or the dinosaur for the speed ones, farty pants for flips, boosts, or air time, F for front wheelies, and elivis guy for back ones. I found that really easy.
Thin: there are enough different cars that many will work for different things… the ones I listed in the 1st post are what I used. SirColton was my “main” guy… especially after he’s fully upgraded, you can jump standing still and do front flips; makes the boost multiplier levels insanely easy.
As for the bosses… Wall took me 2 tries, wasn’t even close to fully upgraded. The Walrus took a bunch of tries; I had to memorize where all the rocks were in the entire course… 1 mistake and I’d lose. Piano wasn’t too bad… 4-5 tries. Don’t remember what the last one was.
But, yeah, still stuck on the Haddock. get to 24-25 seconds most runs now, but just can’t figure out how to get over the right side of that half pipe. You lose too much time/speed having to go vertical on it… if I could get a boost, it’d be easy. But there just isn’t time/distance to get a full bar. I’ve seemingly tried everything, and I’ve barely gotten the bar filled halfway… and that’s infrequently.
Actually I tried sir colton and you’re right I think he’s better. Farty pants stays in the air a bit longer but you can easily do anything with him.
I almost got passed that part once and I don’t know how but then lost, it was really frustrating. I wouldn’t lose sleep over it, seems to be impossible or at least in my perspective not worth the effort.
Though I guess I’m not hardcore like you are :)
Im going back to my “calm down game” tower of greed!
For front wheelies: Letter F or Farty Pants – I found the Letter F easier than Farty but I used both of them.
Rear wheelies: Cycle King – Cycle King does rear wheelies well and c’mon, he’s the King.
Hey Guys,
I agree, we made the Haddock Chase too hard. I’ll be uploading a new version later today with some fixes (and some extras). Watch out for it.
Clyde seems pretty good with back-wheelies. Man with no brakes it also pretty good, you have a lot of control with these guys. Farty Pants is pretty good with back somersaults, and Phoenix the Penguin is good in speed, I am yet to unlock Sir Colton.
I had perhaps 50% unlocked until I began using Sir Colton (I thought it’s Coltin? Can’t be bothered to check, really :P), at which point I began mopping up the unlocks with incredible ease (some levels would still take practise, but I found it worlds easier). Mind you, I haven’t even used half of the characters yet, nor have I completed all of the challenges.
The Letter F is an amazing bike, far more powerful than any other. You can do a front wheelie at any time just by leaning forward, so you can run an entire race on your front wheel. No one else makes it so easy to do any stunt, and he’s also exceptional at forward flips. Just hopping with Letter F starts you spinning forward, so you can often hop and do a single forward flip even without getting very high.
I don’t think there is any bike that comes even close to Letter F when you need to stack up boosts. When you are going fast enough you can hop and flip on perfectly level ground, so you can build up stunts with no help from the terrain!
Sadly, I can’t get the Walrus Chase Special. I think there was some sort of unlocking glitch for it that has since been corrected in an update, but it seems that it did not correct the problem retroactively for people who had already achieved the achievement that is supposed to unlock it. I expect I could get Walrus Chase Special if I erased my saved data and started fresh, but I just can’t bring myself to do it.
Did the developer change Haddock Chase? I beat it in a single try and I’ve never seen any of these things you’ve mentioned why you got stuck. Half-pipe? Are you referring to a bit in the road acting like it? My stats are almost at maximum, I just raced, didn’t jump a single time, and I left the haddock far behind me.
Are we playing the same game?
EDIT: Seems like I couldn’t read the updates, because I was still playing. It’s been made way easier.
