Left 4 Dead: If you could create a zombie what would it be?

Common infected, Special infected, and special common infected (Mud men Runs on all fours, Haz-mat cannot be harmed by fire[L4D2])

Scavenger: The Scavenger arrives after each horde attack to feed on the zombie or human remains and always arrives in a pack of three, sometimes you can find them feeding on dead animals.

Dragger: Burrows or makes holes in ground or floor then covers the hole with something, then the Dragger lies in wait for an unlucky survivor to drag them in.

Has anyone ever noticed that a lot of the special infected’s names end with an “er”

Holy shit to make a verb a noun you add “er” to the end I mean how did that happen

I dont know but im getting the heck outta here, this learning stuff about verbs and nouns is scaring me…

Er…

Mercer: Can nom other zombies, this increases his damage and HPs. Speed and size stays the same, process can be repeated indefinitely. (lol obvious reference lol)

Cloaker: Crawls, sticks to surfaces, and comes in road gray and wall gray colours. Stealthies and then rushes at the survivors when close.

Slider: Has a lot of oily blood. Traction worsened where one dies, when it comes in contact with a survivor the survivor becomes extra flammable. Explodes when lit on fire without rupturing first.

Tooler: Those are common and make use of torches, longsticks and whatever else. Can even drive cars, sometimes.

Hider: Those hide. And then pop out of wardrobes, live animals, dark alleyways, whatever is good to hide in.

Persister: Doesn’t stop until gibbed or broken down.

Reuser: Can transplant features to itself. From bodies of other dead zombies. Pretty weak otherwise.

Latcher: Rides on other zombies, hidden away on a back. And then it pounces like a Hunter on whoever killed the host.

Shielder: Covered with bone growth, is hard to kill unless the head is targeted.

Flamer: The Flamer Is always around fire, when the Flamer sees the survivors, the Flamer lights itself on fire and charges at the survivors.

EDIT The Flamer is full of oil for some reason so when it dies it will explode in a ball of fire.

Spider: The spider has four arms, can climb on walls, and spit stuff on the survivors that makes it harder to move, and the Spider also has big fangs.

EDIT The Spider can spit out actual spiders that are infected because supposedly they fed on the bodies of other infected, but the spiders will die after a short while.

Shade: Hides in the shadows, and can disperse into thin air and pop up somewhere else, and it flies

Defender: Much like the tank but stationary.

EDIT You can usually see the Defender only before the finale stage.

Fortress: Living Home of the Zombies, when it is startled, it sends out the hoard

EDIT The fortress can be killed by infiltrating it, than defeating the witch, the hunter, the boomer, and the tank

This would be the last level

I’d create something original.

Like something that is not a Source Engine Mod.

frost :a zombie that has been in contact with dry ice. ice frosts over anything that goes by it. frosts over your eye sight when near and lowers your health slowly. takes bullet damage lower than most zombie. fire is super effective

Thrasher: The Thrasher has big claws and twitches a lot, your gonna want o kill ’em from a distance because they can be really violent.

Stalker: invisible untill just before attack, it surrounds you with a white cloud, can suffocate you, bullets pass right through(unless they hit the heart), cannot be saved from, you can kill it by shooting the glowing red spot (its heart)

Please, people, try to keep it real. They’re just humans that have been a bit mutated by some kind of virus, not creatures of magic and such.

Beast: Looks like a were-wolf, can call zombie dogs to attack you.

legless: crawls on the ground with its hands, has no legs, long smoker like tounge, and barfs like a boomer

i can see that good idea
wall: when infected by the viruse its muscles started to solidify(real disease) and turn stone like. is usually used as a shield for more zombies. is resistant to all attacks. basically avoid or machine gun them to death.

Blade: smokers with spikes and blades on thier tounges
