My son and I were just playing a game here that involves shooting a cannon at pirates in little ships and big ships. There’s also birds flying that you can shoot for bonus point. You have to keep the pirates from getting past your cannon and you have about 5 “lives.” My son wants to play again and I can’t find it or remember the name. Help, anyone?

Can anyone help me remember two of the games I played in Primary School? One was an educational game for pretty young children, on the computer; possibly on the BBC or something similar. I think it was a bit like Granny’s Garden, graphics wise. The only bit I can remember clearly is that at one point you were turned into a frog by a troll, and this made you small enough to fit down a path you couldn’t previously. Another we played in year 5 or 6 (age 9-11); this was an educational game based on Around the World in 80 Days, featuring various puzzles as you followed Phileas Fogg’s journey. I think you ocntrolled two children. The last puzzle involved dropping items out of a hot air balloon, from heaviest to smallest; starting with a cello… |

I think the first game i played on this site…um..it was something with bees and different colored flowers. You had to collect flower seeds or something…I think you had to like toss the seeds at stuff to kill it. Can’t remember it, anyone? |

Originally posted by Showsni: Probably not the same game, but I recall a similar game with a dungeon and trolls and things, where completely at random, a rice seller comes up to you and the “pop goes the weasel” tune plays. If you don’t respond with exactly half the number the rice seller mentions, it’s game over. It was kindof like Colossal Cave for kids, but more cruel. |

A game I played a few years back. You control a spaceship and you travel the galaxy fighting other players and gathering minerals for money. There are NPCs that attack the starbases and you can get missions. You can level up and buy upgrades and new types of ships. There are PVP areas and areas where its only PvE. |

I remember playing this turn-based RPG (I think battles were 3-on-3 like in Sonny) a long time ago where your characters were chess pieces (I don’t think all the enemies were chess pieces, however). Your main character was a rook and you would have a knight join your party a little while into the game. I knew that there was a bishop that was supposed to join my party eventually but I never got that far. Does anyone know what this game is? It had nice music too. |

This game was from a while back, Might have been one of the old windows games already installed on your computer. There was a bunch of cubes in a cube container that were different sizes. The cube container had a small or large opening, and the cubes fit in with little space to manuver them. The goal of the game was too take all the cubes (some were rectangles) and move them outside of the cube walls. I also think there were designated places outside of the walls that you needed to put them. |

Old RTS game that looked like it was based underground, had to dig chambers to put monster lairs in to recruit as soldiers and fight other NPC chambers; lairs were like vambires or goblins and they didnt all get along so your own soldiers would fight eachother sometimes. Any ideas? |

I’m tempted to say Dungeon Defender Orzo, except for that last part about fighting each other. Was it a flash game? EDIT: Dammit, ninja’d. |

Yeah it was Dungeon Defender thanks guys, I could have sworn your own troops would argue or fight if they were too close and didn’t get along, I’ll take a look at it now that you all knew the name of the game though. Edit: Just got dungeon keeper 2 and updated to 1.7, however after dealing with fixing the graphic problems, I still can’t seem to fix the random ‘crash to desktop’ occurrences, any ideas? |

I’m dying to find out the title of an OLD (from the 90’s) virtual pet game for PC; there were 3D fuzzy cats and dogs of different breeds. All of their joints were big circles. They had big, sad looking eyes… |

Maybe someone will get this one. It’s a Rpg for the SNES and the characters are on the left side unlike final fantasy. I’m Pretty sure you used a plane to go from one area to another, it was all turn based and one of the statuses put a heart over the character. 1000 internets to whoever gets this |
