hi i am a fan of this series of games at the beginning of this rather available in many languages would be good and add that if you win the boss regain 2 life and improve it every building and ship to have slots depend on the type and size
had little to generally 3 types of slots to fast had 2 engines and 1 weapon ,Destroyer would have 2 slots for weapons and 1 engine
and defender 1 on 1 weapon on wheels and engine .

Medium: courier 3 slots for discs 2 slots for weapons 1 slot on the engine 1 on the type of units discharged
destroyers 4 slots for weapons slots 2 slots engines 2 discs, fast 5 slots for engines 1 slot Weapon 2 slots for discs
so small they have 3 slots medium 8 large and 18 after the big bosses 45 slots
each type has different specifications and can use their slots busier.
I think that’s a good idea

I will add though one could play multi mode in which you would choose on how many people are map 1v1 2v2 3v3 1v2 1v3 4v4 5v5 1V4 etc. max up to 24 players, of course, the team work gets more cash

I think when we destroy certain stuff, we should get the same amount of energy or metal, in that way it would be fair on other players.

make a healing shield it would be like the repair turret but instead of shooting your tower/unit it would slowly heal them :3

Got a idea for mission in oe4, not mission type, just one time mission in camp.
"U find solution of infector problem.... timetrevel, jump to mission when u destroyed canister with infector, & kill all spors"
To not broke time u solved not use ships in time of 1st war, & use some modern jamming to cover u actions, also asteroids, or how that things calling, that flying around map with canister, will help u. Undercovered u u think to silently kill all escaped spors using blokade far enoth to be undetected & close enoth to kill all spors.

Success! But u have problem, u jumped deeper to asterid field, u see soo many asteroids, & thet not standing! One of them, before u activete shields, dameged u timeengine,now u can jump only back to u time... now u look on u radar & see 2 small bases fightig each other, & devil canister in one of them! U have some time to build blokade, battle only begins.

it more deeper in asteroid field than u, u inspect using u'r optics, & see onother canister?!?!, after a second of freezing fear, u understand that u'r wrong, it structure only looks similar to canistr, without it "infector heart" & 3 wispy fragile rings, made from metal, around it, u not detecting any energy or life signals from it. U decide reserch it while u building blokade, both taking time ( build range halved becuse of asteroid shtorm), u slowly begin building around battelfield, & build "bridge" to unidentified structure (it more close to u base than canister)
***warning!***
u detected energy activity in 2nd canister, 3 rings begin glow. U detectong a very strong shield generated by them, after a second a small turret appeared, before u looked on it turret shooted to u closest building, it frozen, looks like familiar, u look on new appering turrets, they all glowing, all white, all freeze u closest buildings, u utter: " shit, what cloud doing here?"
U stucked it fight with unexpected enemy, it took all u'r economy, & time to destroy it.
After it u look on infector canister again.....
"Oh no......."
In seconds u understand what u wasted too much time on cloud.... spors happily running away.....
"no no NO, DAMN NO!" ( u destroyed one of consoles by u hands....)
U understand what u cant do anything now, u ordering to all buildings destroy them selfs, & begin jump back........
***jumping.....***
***jump done***
Nothing changed in u time, u still fighting vs endless infector....
After some time, may be years, u understand what 1st canister was a prison, 2nd one was a guard for thet prison..... in 1st time when u destroyed canister, future u destroyed cloud, & young u, who u soo tooday, will destroy cloud, like u did, in endless cycle of time......

Also: I have an idea for ship movement control (a bit late but whatever): We add WAYPOINTS. Each ship building thing can have X (not sure) waypoints. The ships built by it will travel along the path set by those waypoints, attacking stuff along the way. The waypoints can only be inside a limited range, and to enable responsive plays you can change these during the course of a battle by selecting the build unit and dragging the desired waypoint to the new destination.

It would be great if bases wouldn't spawn right next to the edge of the map, limiting building space. Also, please let there be a minimum # of asteroids next to your base, so that you don't start out with only one lone asteroid. A grid on the map would be also nice, when a building is selected. Finally, let there be buffer room around the entire map where you can't build anything, but you can at least see ships that fly off screen and so that the damn menu won't get in the way of building stuff.

The beta is VERY laggy, i even got a decent stationary PC! As many people say the 3D may be a mistake, you could try to optimize it a lot instead removing 3D.

So many of these suggestions are just cancer.
The 3D thing was bad due to massive lag. (Don't see anyone disagreeing there)
DO NOT add micromanagement, this must NOT become an RTS, it's completely against the spirit of the game and I would no longer be able to appreciate it for what it's meant to be, just waypoints is fine but even that isn't necessary. Micromanaging each unit when you should be focusing on resource management and what to build next would become unbelievably tedious and I'm getting carpal tunnel just thinking about it.
DO NOT add a level editor when it's just asteroids and start points and leads to players avoiding campaign and pvp for their little self-made safe space where any strategy they formulate can win just because of how much control they have like making sure only THEY have any asteroids and the enemy is right next to them for their rush or far off for their long game plan.
More factions would be fine - at least it would be more interesting. Being able to play as them wouldn't be necessary with the right techs and units but it might also be nice (I aspire to become a CLOUD)
Adding the option of choosing which upgrade you're going to get for a larger price would be nice, don't just keep or change the current RNG upgrading because it's nice but relying on RNG can be a pain sometimes - for 2x the cost of random upgrades, instead you can add a specific upgrade until you hit the maximum number which I'm assuming will still be 3. Say you have Shield A and Engine A and you're happy with that, but you also want another upgrade - add that upgrade for 1500 (expensive but if it's already something you know you'll be keeping it might be worth the investment).
As for trading I don't think it would be all that good or all that bad. Not adding it would be fine and it would probably let the game come out sooner so I'm all for not having trading if that's the case. I really haven't had much of an issue getting the things I need. If there WERE trading I'd say if one player is buying increase what the player has to pay to get that item and if it's two players swapping items make it cost 30% of the value of the item they're getting for each player or something like that rather than just making it totally free. If all you have to do to get the things you want or need is ask then it completely saps the fun out of earning anything.
IF you could create your own ANYTHING I think it would be best to limit it to maybe a capital and a base design (Pick certain things for your base to have) whether it's for looks or weapons. Maybe you want a shield instead of health, maybe you go for mounted guns (like the base turrets in OE3), or maybe you can just control the cosmetics. Same for capital - choose the look and the weapons and either the cost varies according to what you've added to the capital or it has a set cost and some sort of limit to the overall value of what you can add. There would only be so many slots to use, maybe based on which base or capital type/size you chose.
DEFINITELY don't add another ship for people to race to that's bigger than a capital.
I think capitals should be just a little weaker (like a 10% power decrease, nothing extreme) than they are in OE3. The smaller things need to actually have some value to them rather than being virtually worthless compared to a capital.
Adding more currency types is completely unnecessary - I prefer not having to keep track of 73 different kinds of resources and make sure I'm mining enough of each. Just two works.
A lobby for multiplayer would actually be useful so you know when someone is available to play or not.
A survival mode would be nice but if there are to be any platinum rewards then it would probably be best to make it a once-a-day thing.
I would very much prefer tech stay as it is rather than being on any buildings. I would never waste time building them unless they stacked and that would just become ridiculous. Tech wouldn't be of benefit to any rush strategies anymore either and it would become "forget tech choices just go full tard and hope it works".
DO NOT add rng to the actual fighting mechanics EVER. A match should never rely on a fucking coin flip.
Don't add a max number of ships because limitless masses are part of the fun.
Adding maps with more than two players and more modes would be good.
Add a gamespeed mechanic - pausing was helpful but 2x speed is fun.
This was mostly (but not entirely) an indirect response to other posts. Some ideas SOUND exciting in theory but never turn out as great as expected.
Please stop posting ideas that would turn Obliterate Everything into Cancer Everything. Only a few things need to be added to what OE3 is to make OE4 great.
