I have not yet received my beginner medal for completing 5 scenarios. Thank you for the great games!

i alrealdy sent a screenshoot and it didnt give me anything and i have been waiting for 1 month

I sent a screenshot too. My question is: what does the screenshot need to include? Mine was just the game window showing 6 levels completed next to the grayed out “I know Kung Fu” badge.

It doesn’t work for me either. Wait a minute…. if this badge doesn’t work…. Does this mean EVERYONE on kongregate hasn’t finished the begginer quest yet???? O.o

And I sent the screenshot as well!

It works for some people, but not for others. As long as you send in the appropiate screenshot including everything you need to prove it’s you, and that you completed it, you should get your badges soon.

Look, man, I can see that you got your “I Know Kung Fu” badge a couple of months ago. Evidently, those for whom it does work got theirs at some point in the past. It looks as though “something broke” no later than mid-February. That Kongregate update you’ve mentioned went live in March, so that isn’t the problem. I, and numerous others, by the looks of it, have filed a report. I did so a few days ago; another chap says he did so a month ago.

Frankly, a short-term solution is needed. A game that does not work really oughtn’t be promoted to new users. I registered an account here a few days ago, noticed this starter quest, and went ahead with it. Now, within those few days of registering, I can’t complete that quest because of a fault in the system. Not only is the current fault with this game an irritation to users; it is a discouragement to new accounts. That is most certainly an admin-level problem.

I sent my report last week and followed the screenshot instructions to the letter (chat and game window, etc.). How long do these sort of things typically take (or is this instance getting slowed down because it’s happened to so many)?

happened to me. I’m not bothering with a screenshot. I don’t see why. if the game links is broken for so so many of us, then remove it from the quest. Admin issue.

Sent in a missing achievement report Friday. Nothing.

Take this off the quest, you’re blocking the fun, admins.

Taking it off the quest would be a great idea.

I myself am waiting since sunday, but you should all be a little more patient. It says 5 days, so once you’ve waited 5 days you can complain ;)

i finished 7 lvls to make sure, and the badge didn’t hit for me, so broken badge for sure

BADGE PROBLEM UPDATE: the easy badge on this game (“I Know Kung Fu”) is not working properly at this time. The developer is aware of the issue and will be fixing it as soon as he can get to it (he’s at a conference at the moment). In the meantime, if you earn a badge but do not get it awarded to you, please click “Report Missing Achievement” on the Achievements tab and submit the best screenshot you can get, and we should be able to award the badge to you in a day or two.

If you are awarded the easy badge via our Missing Achievement reporting system and do NOT get the Graduation Medal right away (provided you have completed all the other requirements), you may need to reload one of the other games in the quest in which you have earned a quest badge. This should trigger the system to award you the medal.

I got my badge; my guess is that my earlier post was right. It’s just going a little slow because it happened to so many people at once. So you will get them. Hope this confirmation helps some of you with the wait. Happy gaming!

this has become incredibly rediculous. i don’t know how long i have been waiting to get this badge, but i think it is a huge deterent to newcomers who think they might be into this. why the heck is this badge still part of the beginner quest? its been faulty for HOW LONG??? If the creator is too busy to fix it, fine, i understand, but it should be taken off of the beginners quest. this is just rediculous.

No badge, no achievement, doesn’t matter how many times played or how long you wait! Very disappointing and a disincentive.

I can’t believe it, so close to completetin a badge run and this happens. Thanks Kongregate for promoting broken games.
