I like the idea of caravaneer 2 and the interface looks really nice but i think that some good things to add would be a way to do a different story line i did’nt like how if you attacked a caravan you would be outlawed and not able to do the main quest. possibly the ability of paying desert patrol to escort you to certain towns. eaiser caravans to attack in the begining i was annoyed that the caravan there in the first few towns i hated not being able to attack him without getting killed i would like it if caravans at the begining where like 7 to 8 people with weak guns like pistols but not alot of good cargo or guns and more towards the end you could get incredibly tough caravans with rocket launchers and grenades. mabye tanks or helicopters that cost like 50,000 and you need to pay for special people to pilot these things. more than one caravan possibly later in the game being able to send some of your party members with a donkey and a cart and send them to get you stuff. rideable animals whats the point of selling horses that go 15 kmh in the begining when you can only walk 5 kmh i would have to buy a 5000 dollar atv just to keep up with it

1. Because people actually like to keep some sort of society going on. Your actions have consequences. Deal with it.
2. The caravan exists because it’s so large. If you cut it in size, it might lose to random robbers. I think that would destroy most of the economy.
3. Rideable animals would be interesting, but a drawback should be added: If you ride an animal, it loses carrying capacity or speed. As for the 5kmh part – learn to distribute your stat points better.

guys i wanted to know if there was any way i could take part in the beta for caravaneer 2 it would mean a lot to me if i could. this game is of great centimental value to me.

Go to muchgames.com. They have a game under sports called caravaneer 2, it’s actually number 1. What you do get though is a slow load screen, takes about 5 minutes, THEN, THEN, you get the real game loader, which takes another 5 minutes. It’s great!

Wish google would let me downvote!

Tye artwork is truly amazing but the actual design is bad, very confusing and very nod friendly UI, looks more like a winap player.

Caravaneer 2 could use a LOT more stuff.
1. This is a post-apocalyptic world, there would still be ruined roads (increased travel speed) and partially destroyed ruins of towns and buildings.
2. Adding a day/night change with increased/decreased amounts of bandits + a change in you LOS. (Line Of Sight.)
3. A sleep/exhaustion bar would work with the above change.
4. The ability to make a temporary camp for the night (With the proper resources.) also would be useful. It would add a change to the monotony of the battles due to the change in terrain when you fight if attacked. Finally for camps the fact that you are static means the possibly your men and vehicles would be set up in a defensive position.
5. The above change would probably mean the introduction of enemy camps which you may attack.
6. Tanks and other armored vehicles should be rare verging on nonexistent. They should be vehicles that have about no use other than to fight and have restrictions to keep them from being overpowered, aka. A copious use of gasoline, they should need constant maintenance by a skilled mechanic to keep in shape, minuscule amounts of ammunition for any of the larger cannons on it/guns, etc.
7. Flying vehicles would be an OK addition. To also keep this from being overpowered it should be kept to pretty much just a few old civilian 2 seat planes and similar aircraft. They would of course need specialized places to stop and special type of fuel. (High octane)
8. More thought into the amount of weapons and type of weapons introduced. Grenades should be rare but Molotov cocktails could be more common due to the ease of production. Military type weapons would be at a premium in the hands of the very rich or survivalists that would not be in the mood to part with them generally.
9. Finally (For Now) the ability to actually speak with people within the towns would add a whole other level of depth to it.

Maybe a world with other real players trying to make their fortunes? kind of multiplayer with the abilities to form friends, enemies packs and caravan guilds or join the bandits, govement etc

It’s exciting to see people still making sequel suggestions, but where is someone who could execute all of our suggestions?

Love the Caravaneer concept, with gameplay similar to the old Jagged Alliance or X-COM series, and have been searching the web for a sequel for some time. Someone please complete it, there would likely be a large amount of donated support to whoever could successfully pull it off! Here is my wishlist for Caravaneer 2:
1.) Tweak the leveling system just a bit, to allow increases over time in physical shape in particular for you and your companions. Maybe as a reward for side quests, from special items to equip, or specialized trainers.
2.) Reduce/remove the caps on selling old equipment, battles become more important for making money.
3.) Make vehicles a LOT more expensive/rare to make the transition from early to late stage of the game more difficult.
4.) Increase the number of commodities in the cities so that it’s harder for you to overwhelm the system through buying/selling.
5.) Have some really good mercenaries out there (good physical shape, agility, and accuracy), but perhaps need to complete some task to hire them, or very high monthly salary. Maybe have an “ethics” measure to determine if someone would be willing to join you or not based on your previous actions (attacking caravans, selling black market items).
6.) Greater expansion on the storyline for following the robber path.
7.) Camouflage would be nice to make it possible to sneak up on enemies, or at least make it harder for one to hit another wearing it (enemies could have as well). This would really be helpful in later battles.
8.) Equipment degradation from use would also be cool, so you need a dedicated mechanic to keep things in tip-top shape. Equipment shape would also affect sales in cities, and effectiveness in battle.
Sorry for the length of this, I really enjoy the original!

my caravaneer wish list 1 i do agree with make ing your own shops but you should be able to make guilds and caravan compony. 2 more wepons and put in mods too guns should were away and thay need to be fixed and cleaned also.

More money more problems the more money you have say you had a few factories and made millions you would have high tec
bandits trying to kill you
tl;dr the more money from stuff you do the better the fights

i would to have a town of my own that you can expand also duping things stay duped so you can come back for it. in battle you can run and shoot out of your car ex and hey chase you or stop and put up some quick defenses like sand bag mounted mashing-guns. the ability to yous your empty animal carts to transport your men.
