Ideas for Gamma 2

Well I was discussing ideas with Pixeljam in the general chat room and I decided it would be neat to get a place where we can all brainstorm for Gamma Bros 2. Hope you don’t mind Pixeljam!
#idea number 1: It would be really cool if maybe the Bros were going on a camping trip to some weird planet and they were taking their families (wifes and childrens) in like stationwagon-type spaceships or something and they got on the Intergalactic 101 spaceway.
#idea number 2: What if you could level up your weapons a la cavestory?

Well, never played cavestory, but i like the whole camping trip idea. Seems like it would be really cool to see the Gamma Bros in a different setting than outer space, like it would really flesh out their characters a lot. Maybe a platform-inspired game with the Gamma Bros doing a mission to save their family from aliens? Maybe add some puzzle elements, like the old Flashback game (did anybody play that one?)

yeah I just think it would be really cool to involve the Bros’ families in the actual gameplay

i kinda have an idea that involves the camping idea… how about the fathers get kidnapped and the wives and kids have to same them..

I really liked Gamma Bros. It would be cooler if you had more choice in what upgrades you got, you know, like laser, speadshot, or wavy pattern…you get the idea.

More levels, more cheats, more spaceships to use, more everything.
