micro olympics strats

I really enjoy micro olympics but am unfortunately rather bad at it. Anyone got any ideas on upgrade strategy?

I’ve gotten as far as the silver medal, but that’s it.

how did you get the silver?
So far -

to beat the 1st pilot – 100m
aim at 45 and shoot at the top – get up to 265m
now have $70
buy a freaky (this is to make more money later)

to beat the 2nd pilot – 200m
aim at 45 and shoot at the top – get up to 475m
now have $145
buy 1 freaky and 1 popcan

to beat the 3rd pilot – 600m
aim at 45 and shoot at the top —use popcan on the way up from the cannon, then freaky just before the water get up to 687m
now have $232
buy 2 freaky and 2 popcan

to beat the 4th pilot – 1200m
aim at 45 and shoot at the top – use 1st pop can after cannon, 2nd after 1st freaky
now have $373
************not sure what to buy now as I cant beat the next pilot
buy 3 freaky and 3 popcan – tried 2 cannon and 3 pop can, but only got 1300

5th pilot is 2400m

I remember that when I got the gold medal, I didnt buy anything until the 3rd round, then I generally bought the plane floating things and the cans until they were maxed out then i bought gun powder and the fish. Sorry I can’t remember exactly what i bought on each level.

When you get to the 5th pilot….buy 3 popcan, 2 plane floats and 2-3 freaky (as much as you can afford). Now here is the strategy at this stage which will make the game very easy…low aim…freaky..when accellerating from 1st freaky use all 3 popcans in sequence as you are climbing…you will get very high and then as you decent..use the plane floats in sequence and then at the end use the remaining freakies..Good Luck!

Buying ANY of the items after Round 1 will net you more cash after Round 2 than 3 launches without.

I didn’t want to hijack the other thread so here it is. I read the few tips / guides there were and it works. I don’t claim any credit for this strat.

Might want to mute it… That stupid guy is loud. Though you can hear a Shostakovich Symphony if you turn it up… your call :D
