Runescape: Good or Bad?

I have seeing some negative and positive comments on the massive online game Runescape.
I have saw more negative then positives comments.
If you don’t like it, then don’t say its sucks but tell Jagex what they could make or inprove, like a new Construction minigame, or a Strenght Guild?
Theres tons of new ideas that Jagex may like them!
Also, i heard that players quitted because the wildy is gone, BUT its coming back!

Its not a bad thing that you don’t like Runescape but for some players it could be annoying to see such negative comments, while they thinks its totally awesome.
I know, Jagex is making more updates for the members then for the non-members, but it isn’t expensive for being a member, only 5$ a month!
I don’t know if it is exactly 5$ but it can’t be heigher, i think.
So, people of Kongregate, please stop putting negative comments on Runescape because theres no point in it.

wildy was once a place where players could kill other players but now theve changed it so that you cant do that but theres good places theres like clan wars and bounty hunt

Yes, i don’t pretty much care about the other opions but it isn’t fun to see everyday on the comments that your game totally sucks.

This is why I never leave a bad comment on a game, for fear of hurting someones feelings.

Well it’s not like people are going on the site itself and bashing it or something.

Most people are just upset that a game like it has been allowed to appear on Kongregate, being claimed as “The number one requested game”.

My opinion is quite separate from this, but many people think that Runescape only made it here because Jagex might have bought its way in. I don’t know how far this is true (I don’t know much of the functionings of Kong), but in my opinion that’s all fair…Kong is pretty much a business.

It’ll die down. Just seeing Runescape – a game which many of us played, and either got hooked or simply hated – on Kongregate makes it seem like the overall site’s quality is diminishing. NOT TRUE.

depends, if ur a free player, just DON’T PLAY IT!!!!! its the most boring game in the world if ur a free player, if ur a member, carry on playing if u find it fun, it might be fun as a member as u get lik 10 more skills, a 100 more quests, and half of the world is unlocked, u even get a load of minigames lol

Compared to fully-fledged MMORPGs, Runescape does indeed have subpar graphics. However, compared to other browser-based games Runescape is far more advanced than the usual pack is.

In addition, saying the graphics are “idiotic” is illogical; “graphics” is a form of art, they don’t have any sort of willpower with which to guage its “idioticness”.

That said, I’d really suggest you play the game before complaining about it. You said that you’re going off what other people said, that’s the exact kind of prejudice we’re killing here, we don’t appreciate such unfounded bias.

Runescape is crap because its all farming. Nothing else. No actual fun involved.

Ya, noob got annoying after a while; people on Runescape…most of them I believe…are just idiotic and immature. But, I had fun playing it and it doesn’t deserve all this negitivity…I quit because it wouldn’t let me give my crap stuff to my friends…and also after lvl 60 or 70…HappyYay is right…it got boring as Hell just farming all day, but you couldn’t make a new file because people would heckle you…so W/E

I liked Jagex when there was the 3D chess, blobs, flea circus and Go on there. That was when Runescape was brand new. I found it fun back then, but that was when there was maybe only like 100 people on the game. A lot less lag I’m sure back then.
