[firstname.lastname@example.org](mailto:email@example.com) if the same kind person would send me his or her base…. Thank you (no premium content needed nor ultra rares, I will farm them again ;)
The glitch consists to have like 2 ultra rares on your base design and when one of the ultra rares of the same kind drops you don’t loot it but instead you let it float around you during the level until you find another ultra rares of the same kind dropping
In other words: (lets take tesla as example)
To obtain 4 teslas: Play a level with 2 teslas in your base. Wait a tesla unit drop.Don’t take it. Have HUGE luck such another one drops. Click on both and TADAA you got 4 teslas instead of 3
I have lost my base that’s why I am asking for any people kind enough to send me his base via my mail adress. Then I will farm ultra rare units for my sake but If you are interested I can share it back to you when i get them. Fine?
Getting the rare units is just a matter of luck. On my first try going through Tesire I found two legends. I found my third one just farming on tesire on normal, without taunt. The two legends along with a few nyon exists were enough to fly through zone one. Now I’m working on an improved setup to beat zone one on insane mode.
Here’s my base setup right now. I’m mainly farming gold and ranking up the unites and hopefully get more rare units. !(http://i47.tinypic.com/wu1qs.png)
I’m having some strange behavior with my chargor’s team boost. All 9 of my chargors have team boost IV (+4 range) and they cover a field of lightbringers, teslas and nyons. Currently the nyons have a range boost of 32, the teslas have 28 and the lightbringers have 20. Every weapon is in the range of every chargor so this does not make sense to me. For comparison, my five neg voiders provide a total of 101% neg resistance, and everything in my base shows the full 101%. Likewise all the weapons show the full 117% damage bonus provided by my chargors (9 \* 13 = 117) and they all show the 82HP bonus from the chargor’s team integrity. Only the range effect is inconsistent; all others are even.
Even more unusual is that if I start upgrading the chargor team boost levels more, the nyons start to fluctuate. One of the chargors actually reduces the bonus to 29. I’m really confused. Is there an upper limit to the range increase provided by team boost? Has anyone else seen this problem?
so, the game is actually more grind than MiniTD? Grrr. But, it’s really beautiful. Ran through the entire topic in a sitting, got me some advanced data, but have little time to implement any. I wonder, were the bugs with “dexterity upgrade” and Rank X actually fixed, and whether some people tried and built dispersed bases for PvP to surprise some straight minds \>:) I’m not yet into PvP, as I’m still having serious troubles on normal.
Once you get defensive walls dropping, start switching over to them. They are much better for covering your base than the Aegis/Titan barriers are. I still keep two Titan barriers in the front of my base, for bosses.
Sanctum beacons are the best healers in terms of coverage. Vira healers are a joke late game and too many saviors will start to cuddle around each other because of your chargors adding max health to them. (Which gives them ‘damage’ instead of filling their hp up to where it should be) Vira Ultimas are ok, I only have one in my base, at max. I also try to place in close to a chargor so that it gets overcharged at fires much faster.
With your walls you want to upgrade Regen first, then increased heal, and finally HP boost. Because most of the time attacks do 1-5 damage a shot to them. Final Regen upgrade is 1 hp per .1 seconds (Not sure if it’s .2 seconds because of the update) So it can heal that damage by itself.
Now your turrets. I typically have 6-8 chargors. (I don’t really care about the insane achievement)
I ALWAYS have two Galaxy turrets because they are rapid fire gattling lasers that dish out small damage, but because they fire so fast, it is comparable to a Rank VII Nyon Exist. Which makes them great for dealing with small enemies or a swarm of them. HOWEVER, I use two Zakanas to help reduce the reflection from shielded units. Zakanas function as a chargor (They have the Vigor upgrade) that can shoot enemies. (minus the charging ability) Nyons are your massive damage projectors. Plus the Ghost ability makes Zac’s and X-Zac’s obsolete. I don’t use the ZAC Assemblers because of the Nyons. Now your rare turrets. I have 4 Teslas because I waited with two in my base and waited for another two to drop. As long as you don’t have 3 of that unit in your base (or unit bank) and you leave it on the battlefield, you can get another one, heck you can prolly get a number of extra Teslas this way.
Lightbringers are a must, I cannot stress this enough, they are an amazing Turret. Don’t bother with Thor, they can be reflected, they don’t do a ton of damage, and their minion ability (75 hp) isn’t worth the gold. If you are premium, Devas Neros are a good turret to consider, just because of the insta-death ability. Plus with +104% damage it deals almost 600 damage. I just have one because it’s cool looking as well, but a bit large.
Ok enough text XD
Well, thanks for rapid explanation. I had a lot of walls already (9 and one in bank, they tend to evaporate sometimes) and was playing hard Tesire ad nauseam, with a bunch of Nyon Exists and Chargors, 2 galaxy turrets, 5 Neg Voiders for aura, 4 Sanctum beacons (yes they rock) and one Vira Savior. And yep, 3 Teslas and 3 Fortresses – they are funny :) This eventually pulled me through Villalobos on normal, although that battle made me suffer :( Another trick, once I’ve lost a Wall to a Nano shield enemy with a reflection field (obviously, can’t be disabled, I’ve tried before) and a single Galaxy turret locked on it – sure enough, it laughed at me, while my wall got shredded by those reflected blasts, and neither Nyon Exist did a thing to that bastard. I have something in a line of 12, three Zacs – they make meat shields, which are fun and worthy against normal enemies that don’t just ram you. Last time I played and got me a Ledgend, upgrading ate 3 Nyons – good. About using Zakanas – I have to consider using them, indeed, after all, main purpose of a Chargor is HP and damage, having ~30 less HP out of 500 won’t hurt too much, and range is anyway capped as it seems. By the way, I’m non-premium.
Also it seems I’ve become fond of base squishing, having all turrets in range of all the Neg Voiders is unachievable without this, or increasing the number of Neg Voiders, which is already counterproductive.
@Mauricio: hehe, yes, the red base is just a pushover, but it’s fun to see.
If only your towers will all react to it. Even if I have an Aiming Beacon withing reach of all my towers (severely boosted by Chargors, of course), about half of them do shoot at it, and another half doesn’t. But yes, it makes at least level 13 boss quite simple, when it hides and your ships don’t fire, place a beacon behind it, voila, they shoot and hit that boss.
