Anyway, Resident Evil 4 wins my vote because I do care about a nice story. It’s also one of the first games that made me hurt my head because I jumped (i’m dead serious). I love that feeling you get when something jumps out (ESPECIALLY Oven Man on the island). Left 4 Dead is more online without a story while Resident Evil 4 is a single-player scarefest. And if you add in Resident Evil 2 and 3, it wins by a bit more. Just because a game has “ZOMG Thousandz uv epic zombeez wit online plaey and no stry cuz stry duznt matr” doesn’t necessarily make it the best thing out there.

Resident Evil series. The older games (1-3) were difficult to play. Resident Evil Zero and 4 looked very great on the Gamecube. And Resident Evil 4 on the Wii is the best graphics I’ve seen for that system. The gameplay (especially later for 4 and 5) had a compelling story line and it flows. Overall I like it.
Also the AI has gotten better. ie, go through windows, use back doors, pick up ladders.
Resident Evil…

I’d have to say Left 4 Dead, because it takes out the annoying puzzles (You found a White Knight Chess Piece, you found a Black Bishop Chess Piece…) and makes the zombies a lot more scary, as they’re faster, and do a lot more. (I’m sorry but a cray blind guy swinging his arms around like a monkey isn’t as scary as a Tank knocking you off the rooftop of a hospital.)

RE series is awesome , i do think L4D is true awesomeness but at the end of the day , it’s like sonny , GRINDY GRIND GRINDAS GLITCH no offense , at least RE series has some story , whether the zombies on it like the behemoth is realistic or not in peoples opinions.

Left 4 dead because you can also be an infected and join the zombie group ^.
Though it only has 4 levels, each level has at least 5 mini levels in them

The zombies aren’t scary at all, sometimes they just look funny :) Hunters do at least 5 cartwheels when you shoot them with a shotgun. Only scary is the witch, girl’s cry comes on maybe a rythym 6 rooms gotta turn off light which one is the room, the witch knocks you down in like 2 hits full hp or 1 hit with half.

zombies that are slow are no fun RE was so easy. The bosses was the only hard part. I would much rather fight something that can keep up with me, its more of a challenge. I mean all u had to do was walk backwards and shoot most of the time in RE u didnt even have to run for crying out loud.
I say make them faster than u, and honestly what in the h3ll does it matter how fast the zombies run. Who made the law zombies have to be slow in the first place???

i love resident evil 4 on gamecube the gameplay is deffernt gameplay and stuff but if i could play the gamecube version on the wii conthols i would flip out bigtime but you can olny play gamecube on wii if you plug in a gamecube controller and play with it wii rocks

you would all automatically think that I would love all of the Resident Evil games, and I do, But I think Left 4 Dead is a very amazing zombie game. I can’t Resident Evil 5 to come out. XD

i didnt read all posts but the zombies in left 4 dead are actually called infected and the zombies can run because the virus is relatively new so most of them havent got to the point of decomposing the only exception to the decomposing law in left 4 dead is the boomer its how he explodes

I personally like Left 4 Dead cause its real team based and its cool how you can like set up perimiter defense (Gas cans) around the area before they come charging and the weapons are simple and you get a bunch of ammo and you have infinite duel wield pistol.

Left 4 Dead because it more fun than Resident Evil,and i really liked L4D Demo because its fun to look when theres zombies legs and arms flying in the air. I think that Resident Evil is kinda boring because you just run like a idiot when theres 10 zombies that take 10clips to die and in L4D its fun because theres the mystery AI Director and fun stuff to blow up

trooperjoe, I don’t think you know what ‘grind’ means.

RE is great, but L4D on the 360 is sick.It’s easy on easy and almost impossible on expert and versus mode (being able to play as the zombies against other humans) is the best (even though they need to finish all the campaigns). But maybe RE5 will compete with L4D but i already can’t wait for L4D2.

I really like Left4Dead, the Multiplayer is great, always a story to tell, great to play with friends and it’s just a blast to play.

well i got to go with resident evil cause of there new game and movie i saw the movie it looks like a game but also got LEON S. KENNEDY he is most fav. ALSO GOT CLAIRE REDFIELD

RE 5 isn’t out yet so it’s not a fair comparison.

Left 4 Dead. Even if it looks mindless, you have to be very strategic, especially on the harder difficulties.
It’s fun having to rely on other people, especially strangers. It brings out just what kind of person you are.

Re is going to have a whole new series coming out. It looks GREAT. I am going to pay like 250 dollars to get it early.
