Challenge Rubix

Alright, I’m making this thread because I love competition and I want you guys to bring it on and challenge me at whatever you want. In this post, I’ll be keeping a list of challenges, who they’re against, the terms, and who wins (you versus me). There aren’t going to be any prizes or anything — this is just purely for straight competition against yours truly. You can only give challenges for things that you’ve accomplished (that is, you can’t say “Beat a score of 22,000” if your best score is 20,000). Also, please do not suggest challenges that require nothing but excessive timewhoring. This is meant to be a duel of skills, not one of meticulous, tedious, SKILL-devoid grinding.

Why don’t you just join the “Competition to find the best” competitions?

how about you beat my Protector II hardcore score? last i checked it was #1 all-time…. although it is far from optimized. i only played the level twice, IIRC.

If you are still up to a challenge…try beating my time of 8:11 on Hashi Ex Machina.

Edit: I realized I need to qualify my challenge by saying that it is on the 32×32 Insane layout of the game.

you know you are going to be flooded with challenges like this….. and being the competitive person you are you are going to try to get all of them and fail… and some people will just post idiotically pointless games with outrageous scores just to get on your nerves… all of that during the time of your exams….

I would’ve thought you would have at least waited until you weren’t as busy lol..

I’m not going to start taking on any challenges until these freaking exams are over, lol. They’re priority right now.

Get under 145 seconds on Fancy Pants Adventure. I think it was like 145.60 or something, but not sure.

And higher than 92004 on Golden Arrow 3.

Beat my score of 1,281,000 on Luminara. It’s #13 on the All-time highscore but it’s the first legitimate high score on there.

Beat my score on Cursor Attack 3. I’m on the highscores list, see it for yourself. I think the only guys above me are hackers (haven’t checked in a while, though).

EDIT: You need to use the in-game highscore list.

EDIT2: Yeah, I know you’re going to get flooded by challenges, but this is what you get when you challenge the whole forum. ;)

Rubix’s got some work to do, might have been smarter to make this thread after your exams :P

Mine might not take that long… IIRC, Rubix has already beaten hardcore mode. Since I assume that was your reference, that you’d have to beat all of hardcore just to attempt mine.

I thought he had a higher score than you, but it did not record twice, or something like that.

Also, Jon, you can try to beat it too. :)

Protector II doesn’t submit your highscore on the last hardcore level anymore. It’s been that way for months. I beat the top score myself at least four times one day in August before I realized it was the game itself, and not a connection problem.

Mine you may never beat. Only two other people have finished the game to date. And neither with a perfect score.

I am relentless — assiduous — obsessive — ever-calculating — OCD — persistent till death. I do not stop until victory is mine :)

Anyways, yes, I’ve beaten Hardcore Mode already (it was actually much easier than the standard mode, IMO), and I beat Tass’ score quite a few times, actually, but the score just refused to submit, no matter what I did.

Therefore… VICTORY IS MINE! Muh hahahahaha!!!!!

Iggyshark: I just beat your game with 0 deaths. Took me three playthroughs, about fifteen minutes. Will you cry now, or does Rubix Himself have to do it?

Rubix: I invite you to beat my score of 331 on Fishing Frenzy . I doubt that this task will give you much trouble, given your awesomeness and the fact that it’s such a quick game, but I think it’s a good game that deserves a play. (I like its mix of skill, luck, and strategy. If I had the power to make badges, I’d give a hard badge for scoring over 300.)
