Why Doesn't Runescape Work On My Computer?

Runescape doesn’t work on my computer on the real website, www.runescape.com. I haven’t checked the Kongregate runescape one because I only play from the website. When I go to the log in menu, all it shows is a giant white rectangle and at the top left corner and it says “Error. CLICK for details”. I don’t really understand it but can anyone please help me?
And no rude comments saying “Runescape sucks you nerd”. The reason I’m playing it is because there is nothing to do on my computer.

What browser are you using? I don’t really know much about how you could fix it, but updated your browser could help a lot.

Have you tried holding down ‘s’ while its loading? That gets you into safe mode.

Have you tried googling that message?

I have read that, that can only work when you see the loading bar. I never see the loading bar. Once I click “play” or whatever, it immediately turns into a white rectangle saying “Error. Click for details”. I did click on it and it showed this. ^ That long thing…

Have you tried googling that message?

I tried but it said “error you have put something illegal”. Something like that in my laptop. I would play runescape on my laptop but the stupid laptop overheats causing it to shut down every 20 minutes… On my main computer (this one), norton antivirus just popped up saying “a recent attack has been found”. Something like that.

Can anyone help? Or if you are a runescape member, could you please put make a thread in the Tech Support section?

Your computer is starting to realize that Runescape sucks.

hmm, well… have you updated your computer?
check for viruses, some things wont come up if they have viruses, computer blocking system, normally known as firewall, Norton or ad-ware.

Runescape has had an update in graphics, this might be the case, so best idea is to update your “Java”

why do people say RS is rubbish? it might be, even so, the maker of RS made Mozilla firefox… FACT!

Hmm, Tried the Runescape Client?
