You find sol files in your preferences folder. Here’s the guide:
Windows XP and Vista:
o For Web sites: APPDATA\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\<random>\<domain>\<path>\
Mac OS X:
o For Web sites, ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/#SharedObjects/<random>/<domain>/<path>/.sol
o For AIR Applications, ~/Library/Preferences/<air>/Local Store/#SharedObjects/<flash>.swf/.sol
yeah but you also end up deleting every single saved game you had in other flash games.
Not that I tried or cared, but I imagine you could just copy the .sol files prior to deleting the cache and paste them back. I don’t think there are any games I really cared to keep a save file for anyways.
Windows:
C:/Documents and settings/[your account]/Application Data/Macromedia/Flash_Player/#SharedObjects/[random letters and numbers]/chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0005/2567/live/yolo.swf/#yolo/save.sol
Linux (and Mac probably):
~/.macromedia/Flash_Player/#SharedObjects/[random letters and numbers]/chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0005/2567/live/yolo.swf/#yolo/save.sol
Also, linux users can create empty save.sol file, then use ‘sudo chattr +i save.sol’ (in #yolo directory) to block saving this game permanently. However, you still need to refresh page to play again.
So I tried removing all my save data, putting it in a folder on my desktop. Then i played the game again, and I still got the game over screen right away. So I deleted the sol file again, told flash not to allow chat.kongregate.com to store data on my computer, and refreshed the page. I was still greeted with the game over screen, and a dialogue box asking permission to save data to my computer that would not go away.
This game makes me mad. Not because of the save data thing. But because it’s encouraging users to refresh the page several times. Every time they refresh the page, the creator is getting more money from the ads being displayed.
I’m not encouraging that at all. The only thing that happens when you refresh is that flowers grow on your grave. Talk about encouraging people to refresh..! The whole zombie thing is just a joke somebody in the comments made up and nothing I can be blamed for.
Removing this file does not work. I don’t know how, but I’ve deleted the save.sol file from this game (i’ve even deleted the entire game directory) and when I open the game back up it still say’s game over.
You could try to find all sols in chat.kongregate.com, sort them by date, and delete the newest. That’s how I found my file, maybe yours has different path or name.

You are encouraging people to refresh a little bit. You know people are going to want to get a second chance after dying, so almost everyone who plays will refresh in the hope of getting it. Just failing to giving them another chance without refreshing is encouraging players to refresh.
On the other hand, it’s obviously not a devious strategy to get tons of plays, because it would clearly fail horribly. A game like this has absolute zero replay value. So it’s not really unethical.

You have to delete the yolo save .sol in the chat.kongregate folder, and also remove the folder called www.raitendo.com (it’s in the same place as the chat.kongregate folder.) It didn’t work for me until I had removed both. Thanks for the file location guys.
Yep, I found the raitendo one, but not the kongregate one.
yeah, I added another one. and if you find that one out and start spreading it I’ll just add another one. If you find it out, that’s alright, but please don’t spread it!
1) because as a game, it’s mediocre at best
2) because the whole point of it is that you’re not meant to be able to play it more than once
3) it’s supposed to be frustrating
4) it’s supposed to be irritating

You did a good enough job making the game so horrible that I didn’t even bother playing through it once I figured out the workaround, why go through the additional effort of hiding more files? I don’t get why you would want to go out of your way to frustrate and annoy the 1% of your playerbase who were interested enough and took the time to check the forums to figure out how to see the rest of your content. I don’t get why you would spend time making ending movies, doing the voice work, etc. for something that you don’t want even 1% of your players to see. I get the point of your game, but this just seems like you’re taking it too far.

Also, I found the new one. You might want to use something other than “save.sol” as the actual file name. It was rather easy once I started looking for .sol files modified today. Found two, one was the one listed in this thread, the other was the new one. Heck, if you start adding even more I will just skip out on looking for “save.sol” and just go by date.
Your folder name, however, is amusing.
Whee. Played through to the same point a second time.

Pardon me for stating the obvious, but that seems like a poor excuse for what is obviously an attempt to use your mediocre game to troll the rest of us.
People, if you want to see the rest of the level or the other ending clips, there’s this magical small-time site called Youtube. If you want it for the gameplay, it’s a clone of a clone of so many clones that it’s not even funny.
I thought it was a cute message, and not worth the struggle to play again. Really, that would void the point of the damn thing, would it not?
