## What’s this thread for?
Ever remember an awesome (or maybe not-so-awesome) game that you played a while back, but can’t remember the name? Well, this thread is the place to ask. Just describe the game the best you can and hope someone knows what you’re talking about. If you see someone ask about a game you know, then don’t be lazy, tell ’em!
## Some tips:
- Give as many details as you can remember about the game. Try not to give vague descriptions like “It was a space-shooter where you had lazorz!!!”
- If you have any idea what the game was called, say so. For example, say the game you’re looking for is Runescape. you might say “It ended with -scape, I think.”
- Don’t leave a reply like “Oh yeah… that game’s awesome, I’m gonna go play it!” If you know the name of the game, say it.
- Check the homepage. There’s a new “Recently Played Games” section, which may have the game you are looking for.

**I’ll start off with these two:**
There was a game I downloaded a while back. It was a parody of RPGs in general, there was one button in the middle of the screen that you clicked over and over to progress, and you had various ridiculous attributes like “booger flicking” and “dirt identification”, and occasionally a random event would occur such as “you inhaled the dust particle of magnanimosity, you gain 10 levels for no apparent reason.” Sometimes these events would have a yes/no choice, and often either one would result in a negative result. Anyone know what its called?
There was another game I played a while back. I believe it was called Miniature RPG or Tiny RPG or Little RPG or something like that. You were tiny character, and the entire game took place in 1 screen. you walk around and enemies spawn randomly around you. as you leveled up (i believe every 5 levels) you would gain an extra hit, and eventually you were swinging your sword many times per second killing tons of enemies spawning and closing in on you. The final boss was a big black hole thing. Anyone know what game it was?

I never seem to remember names, but I definitely played that one. I remember it being placed here a few months back.

What’s the Star Wars game that was a demo for the desktop a while back, where you had mini-Star Wars figures with HUGE heads? It was a big game, lots of different screens, I believe you played either Luke or Yoda? It was so much fun, but I can’t remember the name. :’(

When you purchased a property you could buy buildings. The more properties you had next to each other the bigger the hotels could get.
It was against 3 AI players (don’t know if it was real multiplayer)
There were special powerups like bombs, reverse, double rent, etc.
You played as a car or truck (I believe…)
OK, this is a hard one. I tried to get the name for years, but nobody knows. It’s a game for the SNES that is imported from the US (I’m not sure about this, but it’s in the english language).
You play with Ninjas or something similar, actually one for each player of the two player.
There is a top-down view and at the beginning you travel on a overworld map like in Final Fantasy.
It has random encounters, which you play in real time.
The fight is similar to “Mutant Teenage Hero Turtles”. With punches, jumpkicks and I also think some kind of weapon throwing that you can’t do all the time.
You can gain expierence and levels.
On the overworld map you can see dungeons. If you visit them, the enemies inside will kill your starting character in no time.
One of the earlier bosses is some sort of cook that can eat rocks (or your character) with a fork.
It’s possible that some facts are not excatly true, because I played it a very long time before and only once.
edit: @Mimoy7: In Blast Corps for the N64 you controlled a Bulldozer and in some levels you destroyed racing cars. But mostly buildings. Did you mean this?
ok heres one;
it was a ‘turn-based’ space battle game, probabily released before 2000
you took it in turns to choose how your ships would move (by click and dragging an arrow) and could choose to shoot rockets or whatever, the enemy would do the same then it would show all the movement and missle hits etc.
it was froma top down perspective and the ships were simple looking things, but each team had multiple types of ship.
you could build your own team and i remember that one of teh ones that came with it, the ships were named gerbil, hampster, shew etc
I’m looking for an action game with online multiplayer. I think I played it here one or two years ago. The game had a cartoony look. I don’t remember how it looked too well, but it didn’t use stickmen.
There was a “lobby”, where you could choose a room to join. I vaguely remember an option to choose a difficulty level for each stage. The stages also (maybe?) required you to complete them in order. There were no level ups, but you could assign stat points depending on how many of the stages’ “achievements” you achieved. I think there were 3 stats. There was also the option of buying booster packs, which contained equippable items, by spending in-game currency or real money (not too sure about this part…).
Each party (formed by the players in each room) had a certain amount of lives (about 3-5?). The party would lose one life when one of the characters ran out of health. Once the lives run out, it’s a gameover and the players are sent back to the lobby (or something like that). The party has to clear out a certain amount of enemies in each area before a “GO!” equivalent would appear, allowing them to progress to the next area (not too sure about this either). Thus it is somewhat like a “beat’em up”. I remember that the first few stages were forest-themed (or picnic?) and the first enemies were raccoons. The were palette swaps of the raccoons serving as stronger versions of raccoons. The stages also had a recommended level (i.e. the total of your stat points), but I don’t think they restricted you from playing them.
The controls were fairly simple. I think it used the mouse for the lobby and the keyboard while actually playing. There might have been two types of attack; one being a quick but weak hit and the other being a slower but stronger hit.
I also remember some long list of achievements, with a lot of them requiring you to kill a certain amount of a certain enemy.
If people entered the key phrases into [this rather obscure site](http://www.google.com) , before posting, it would probably solve 90% of these queries.

Woo, that’s enough googling for now. hope one of those were the right ones at least.
@Jaywalker2: This really don’t fit my description.
I posted the same on the usenet and they recommended “Little Ninja Boy” for the NES, which is really similar. Very similar. It has even they same storyline and item names. But I know that I’m searching for a SNES game because the place where I’ve played it had only SNES-games. And no, it’s not “Super Ninja Boy”, the game I found at least a dozen time before with this description on google.
Other hints I can give are, that there was a counter with “enemys left”. If it droped to 0 you won the battle. And beside the bad graphic I really missed the treasure chests in the NES-Version while fighting. If you opened them the battle got a lot harder. Strikes of lighning, oversized enemys and similar unfair things that kill you with one single hit. But this could be easily abused with an item that allows you to flee from the battle. Another difference was, that the enemys needed more then one hit to die. At least before I found a sword in one of these chests, then I killed every normal enemy with one hit like in the NES-Version. And the game has a annoying bad password system for saving. I remember that I had played this game for a while and “saved” after a grinding season. Then I tried the next boss, died and the password didn’t worked. It was the cook boss, who ate me and killed my fully healed character with one single hit in this way. Never played it again and now I don’t know the title any more :(

Pretty much all the major points are there. I couldn’t see if there was a top-down view or random encounters from the description, nor did it describe who the first boss was.
It’s not really clear what game it is you mean, but it sounds awful – why do you even want to find it again? o\_O
There’s a whole series of Little Ninja games (although they’re known as the “Super Chinese” series). One of them is probably right. Your wording is also confusing as you keep talking about NES/SNES interchangeably.

OK my game:
It’s a puzzle game, the kind where you can write a walkthrough for.
I forgot how many screens but I remember 4 screens like this:
A person guarding a sword
a market /a woman stuck in a barrel
Your goal is to get 3 items and then take them to someone and they will make a sword, you need to then go into a door at the top to win the game. at the end the player kills a demon or something.
The game is rather short compared to other games.
I tried googling but it didn’t work.
