Gah, being a teenage gamer sucks if you have no money in the middle of a great game outbreak. XS

Anyway, I’ll keep this short and sweet: What would you guys say I should get, Borderlands or Forza 3? I have never really liked Racing games, but I see Forza 3 as a way to give them a chance, (I haven’t played more than a few hours of racing games, total) and the community of my favorite podcast is going to be very into it, so I can see that as a plus.

As for borderlands, I like FPSs, and the whole game looks awesome to me. I could see myself replaying this several times, but from what I’ve heard about Forza 2, I could be spending quite some time on Forza 3 as well. Keep in mind I have a (fairly) small SDTV, so graphics aren’t as big an issue for me as others. :/

Basically it all comes down to: Which one do you think would last me longer? I know Forza 3 isn’t out yet, but I’m sure a few of you have tried Forza 2, right?

Help plox? (Please, no “BUY FOR PC NOOB”, my PC is nowhere near gaming quality and I don’t have the cash right now to upgrade.)

EDIT: Also, forgot to mention: It’s worth noting that Destructoid (who’s slogan is “Brutally honest game reviews” gave Forza 3 a perfect 10/10. And also worth mentioning is the fact that I hated Fallout 3. Loathed it. So if Borderlands is anything like Fallout, I’m passing for sure. :/

Borderlands.

At the very least, it has built in replayability, which is something needed on the console.

Burnout Paradise is twenty bucks a pop for Xbox when you download. Get that if you want to save cash (although the DLC may ratchet the total price up a bit).

If only I had $500 to spend on a good computer + 60 dollars for the game…

Getting hard with the economy how it is. Lots of other people out there with college degrees that take them all.

Believe me, if I could get a job, I would. I’m fourteen, which is too young to work, though. My parents also don’t want me getting a job during school (even when I’m old enough) because it will ‘mess with my studies’. =|
