Thanks for the guide. Answered some of my questions, and having a list for medals helps.
I’m still pretty new to this game, and so far have reached lvl 87 on “easy” with rogue, using laser gun mk4.
(sniper \> sniper 6, sheriff \> shotgun8, noble \> gravity gun8)
I’m wondering about the ‘love’ skill. Does it just count the sisters shot, or does a chain explosion count too? If the chain counts, this will be a great skill for a support member to have maxed out. 55g/sister could be 1650 a day with 30 sisters.
Also wondering about titles… Are they based on reputation, experience, or level?

They’re called Crows, by the way, not Ravens. But nice guide :)

I just picked up the recently added “Hard Badge” medal. I don’t know exactly what triggered it, but I bought 2 villa upgrades (level 22 & 23), spending about 175k GP in one day. The medal grants +1 starting inventory slot.

Titles are based on day count, actually. If I’m remembering correctly, it’s…5, 10, 15, 30, and 40 that have new titles. I’m not sure beyond there.
It’s per sister. Thing is, 30 sisters costs (250+3150 \* 15) 51,000 gold. You’re not getting that for a long time, and it’d be better to buy chickens with that much cash…
I’m working with a bowgun noble myself, stuck around day 47. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

I would assume the “hard badge” medal is unlocked when you earn the Hard Badge from Kon, and likewise for the “Impossible badge” medal

Anyone? Any tips on how to aim for that impossible badge?

I didn’t see a mention of the ghost-type enemy in your bestiary. I haven’t played the game much at all, but this was the first time I saw it, so maybe he’s new in the latest patch, but probably not.

Anyone know the difference between the Auto-Fire and Fire Rate Mods, since the former was added into the game? I haven’t seen Auto-Fire actually fire my weapon automatically or anything like that, so…
|
|

It means you can hold the fire button down to fire the weapon (basically, it becomes machine-gun style in firing). Flat out Fire Rate gives a bigger boost, but no autofiring.

Eh yea look’s like that one was missed. Rawismojo – no it’s not new. Chicken is the “newest”

What is the maximum ammount of AP that you can get in a day? I.E. IS 16 the highest ammount of AP that you can use in a day with Level 10 active & achievements?

You can get allies with Active as well and since its a “Party Skill”, I don’t think they _wouldn’t_ stack, so as far as I can guess the most AP possible is 47?
|
|

Party skills don’t stack, the in-game help states that only the highest-level one among your team will apply and no they don’t stack when they’re the same level either. ;/

4 AP for the day
3 AP for the 3 Medals (Prayer, Provoker, Boomer)
10 AP for Active
~~-~~ ———————
17 should be the max AP you can get for a day
But so far I only got 16 AP as a max because on days with 10 AP from active I never got more then 2 AP frpm the medals.
And with good events from searching the town (2 or 3 AP) the only AP limit is your luck… :)

Random note: Duelists and Rangers are opposites. Duelists make good player characters since the player is almost always firing, but they make pretty poor allies due to the AI’s unwillingness to fire. Rangers, on the other hand, make horrible player characters early on due to the slow trigger rate of their ability and horrid accuracy. They make great NPCs, however, as NPCs are far more accurate once locked on. On top of that, they make great candidates for the Gravity Gun (you wouldn’t want to be using the 9 second reload yourself, would you?).
Taunt rewards diminish with repeated taunts. First it’s, say, +60%. Then it’s 60% of +60%, and so on. There’s something I’m eager to try though…I know chickens and taunting are good ways to make cash, but would looters + scavenge work? More high level stuff sooner = not only more cash, but better weaponry.
If I’m trying that, which class…? Probably Hunter…bowguns \> big guns. Hope it works out (I want my 6-slot bowgun back, damnit! Why’d my save file corrupt?)…

Would i then be right in saying that there is no point in raising “Sp Trainer” beyond Level 4 or eventually does the training get cheaper?

I don’t understand what the SP Trainer has to do with the possibility of getting AP for a day….

Sorry for not being clear. Hopefully this will clear it up.
It cost 4 Ap to train. Each upgrade you buy for the sp Trainer will mean that you can train +1 times per day. I.e 1 training session will cost you 4 Ap, 2 training sessions will cost you 8 ap in total, 3 will cost you 12 in total. With 17 being th highest AP that you can get for a day without gambling then what is the point of upgrading the sp trainer past level 4 which will cost you 16 ap.
I was trying to ask is there a level at which point the sp trainer will actually cost you less then 4 ap. If not then it is not worth buying more then Level 4 sp trainer.

The SP trainer upgrades are not a per-day thing. With each level of SP trainer, each of your characters is allowed one more “training session”, across as many days as you want.

Everyone and their brother has a guide for this game, but here’s just a brief few points that made getting the impossible not all that difficult.
Start class: Hunter.
Weapons: Buy upgraded bows until you find a rapid bowgun. If it only has one mod slot, buy any higher level RBGs you find, especially ones with more slots. You really want to get a firing speed or rapid fire mod on there if you can as a highest priority.
Inventory: Its HC mode, play defensively. Keep your primary weapon, a grenade slot or two as you find them, a Grail of Jure, and a repair hammer. For storage slots i like to keep a coin or two, any weapons i’m levelling up to equip/mods i’m waiting to equip and open space to sell stuff.
Skills: Bowmaster, Cripple Shot, Breeder, Rifle(the sooner you get this to elevenish, the sooner you can equip any RBG you can find). Maxing scavenger and even such skills as AntiAir is nice, but worry about that later. You will have points to burn by the end.
Friendlies: I kept my Little Girl and gave her a shotgun. This is a point of controversy, as many badge holders will tell you to dismiss her. I like the rabble/dragonfly clean up and didnt have the heart. Getting a Noble is key. They are ridiculous. Then either a Militia or Ranger. I chose Militia, but Ranger were good too in my casual file.
Friendlies’ Weapons: Grav Guns. Dur. At least two should have GGs. While you are looking for GGs, dont hesitate to equip them with chain guns.
Friend’s skills: Most of these are up to you. Active is key(Noble). Leadership is good, as are Little Girl’s defensive skills in the early game(by the end, pretty much all are useless). At least two of your friendlies should have Grav Guns and from that point on, focus them on Reloading and never take them off of it. Damage and leech mods on the Grav guns are nice. Your noble will end up a MUCH higher level than anyone else(His damage%+ stacks on the Villa damage%+ while his high level enables him to equip superior GravGuns and Damage Mods+Reloading skill further ups his Damage Per Second to gain him faster levels and… yeah). Note: dont leave your guys on the default “kill the boss at the cost of the base!” thing. It will screw you up early game especially. Put maybe one of them on boss detail(chain gunner/grav gunner), and the rest keep on defend. You can scrape the bosses out yourself if need be, especially with a rapid bowgun.
Town: 1st turn get first house upgrade, wait to get next till wave 15ish. Chickens, of course, and Villa upgrades. Villa and chicken harvesting should be your use of 4 AP every day. after that work with Active and the medal AP bonuses for upgrades, shop restocks, amusing robberies, eating dinner… really whatever floats your boat. But if you dont have a RBG, I might advise restocks. Villa/Partying is the overlooked wonder of this game. You can upgrade your damage in 10% increments for much less than the cost to upgrade all your party’s weapons. Furthermore, it usually increases your damage more than an upgrade, and for less AP. Dealing 130% more damage is beautiful(multiply your damage by 2.3 and appreciate.). Get shop things as applicable early on to find those GGs and RBG. I’d advise getting a few repairers and a few wall upgrades, but you shouldnt need all that much wall health as once you get up and running, many of your games will be perfects and they just raise the upkeep.
Conclusion: Hunter, Bowgun=\>Rapid Bowgun w/ rapid fire upgrades. Nobles are your friends. Grav gun+reloading skill. Villas are crazily good. Chickens(dur). Starting is the hardest part. Take off Boss-killer thing. Once you hit wave 30, you should probably be fine unless you do something silly like over upgrading a RBG past your skill level and getting eaten with no weapon. Ho hum. Dont be afraid to take a pause when you feel like you’re getting overwhelmed to plan out how to avoid getting demolished.
I have heard and encountered some glitches. You do not need them. A cool non-glitch tip is that you are allowed to restart your town visit one time a day by refreshing. It will only work once per day, but it can allow you to make up for a bad walk through town or wasting points on fruitless shop browsing… or for over-upgrading your primary weapon.

Negotiator +9% – 45% (lvl10)
Engineer +7% – 52% (lvl10)
Last Hope HP=\< 19% – =\< 55% (lvl 10)
There is no lvl limit on skills such as Reloading, Accuracy and Cool. I have a char with accu 21 (66% less spread) and reload 20 (64%)
After playing a few chars, unlocking the others, I chose a Noble for a serious game. When you focus on having dinner, this guy levels sooo fast. Right now I´m on day 151 with a team of Ranger, Sheriff, Duel. Intended to get max money out of these guys party skill. Also Sheriffs Leadership und Duels Engineer are amazing.
I wouldn´t have made it that far without my Bowgun. This is the greatest weapon ingame, combined with pierce and impact its perfectly suited for crowd control. But the most important thing is, get an AutoFire mod!!!
Lvl 1 is too weak, but with a lvl 2 or 3 you shoot a continuous stream of arrows with amazing damage (a lot more dmg than the rapid bowgun has)
To get money focus on getting chickens to unlock the medals, maybe start a new game afterwards, cause they get pretty expensive. Get a somebody with breeder!!! Taunting is recommended when you are strong enough and have suitable skills. I can also suggest getting a higher title when you have enough AP. This will give you a constant income after each wave and pays out quickly.
I have Taunt lvl 5 (60% more reward when taunting) and Negotiator 10 (45% better reward), does anyone know how that stacks with a perfect game? Do I get more exp when monsters have higher hp e.g. from Taunt?
I noticed that the amount of exp as well as the value and amount of drops can differ significantly on the same wave (replayed a wave a few times).

^ The Taunt skill _does_ stack with the perfect game (i.e. the final amount gets a 30% boost). Taunt stacks the reward, but it seems like the enemy HP gain does not stack; this can result in a ridiculous reward bonus at the end of a perfect round. I had a game without a “Quick Eyed” character, so kept sinking my AP into Taunt instead of the Go Searching. I ended up buying a counter-productive amount of Little Sisters, so much that hitting any of them blew up the entire battlefield.
