i have to add base aiming affects how fast they aim and shoot whilst base teamwork affects how much they actually train their skill oh and by the way [http://elona.wikia.com/wiki/Elona\_Wiki](http://elona.wikia.com/wiki/Elona_Wiki) has big details on this

Excellent guide!
My main comment would be to add the primary class skills to the table of skills. It would be interesting to see how they grow.

for ragnarok what i did was I had 2 grails and i waited till end of round and used shotgun and grenades to kill them, i went up 4 levels and I got medal, would have died if the round hadn’t ended though so this is a risky strategy for lower level people.

Ragnarok is actually much easier than this suggests, if you use sisters.
Sisters are awesome, by the way, and sorely underrepresented in strategy guides. They usually one-shot whatever they’re next to, can clear a huge area when you get enough and they start coming together, and even give you a little extra gold with the Love skill. Also, they split their arrival at the start of every round, meaning you get several chances to use them.
So a good strategy for surviving Ragnarok is to get a couple of slots of grenades, and maybe the henchman – he won’t take any money out of what you get for killing the dragons, and you’re doing Ragnarok for the XP/badge anyway – and wait until a couple of your sisters are shot towards the far side of the screen. Start Ragnarok, and when the dragons get to the sister, shoot her. Instantly causes a massive amount of damage, often one-shotting a large number of the dragons.
If you manage to get Ragnarok early, using a couple of sets of grenades, the Jure protect and the henchman can give you half a dozen levels in one go. Very satisfying, too.

Hunter can also get Power Shot.

I think the base teamwork skill determines how often your allies attack the same enemy, or try to (thereby wasting their shots). For example, early in the game w/ 2 or 3 allies, they frequently attack the same sheep or something, and usually waste a few shots. However, later in the game, I noticed that they never did this anymore (I didn’t notice the difference until I started a new game to get a few other medals). I haven’t tested this beyond playing through the game normally and trying to pay attention to it, though.

The importance to this game is FIRST: get as many medals as you can. The extra benefits will help later on to easily surpass day 50+.
NOTE: this is not a game where you can expect to get a ton of medals in one save file. Just focus on getting those medals first.
My personal game is Level 149 Noble on day 197 with 72 Perfect games scored. :D
Have an auto-shotgun-mk 30 modified with Damage3, Ammo3, Leech3, and Anti-Armor3.
For teammates i have a level 238 Noble, a 195 Ranger and a 166 Militia all armed with a gravity gun-Mk 18 modified with Damage lv. 3 and Leech lv3
For my town i have Looter lv 16, Trainer lv19, repairman lv9, museum lv38, chicken lv389, sister lv 66, and villa lv 22.
Never lost a game past day 60 and never used henchmen! I did have to restart multiple times around day 20 because none of my teammates had gravity guns but they all had awesome chain guns.
Make absolute sure that among your teammates you have the following abilities or as many as you can: ACTIVE, accountant, breeder, scavenger, leadership, taunt, cook, negotiator and love. The absolute necessary are active, breeder, accountant and negotiator.
Your main source of income will be chickens+breeder shared ability in the rounds from 30- 100. After day 100, loot from boss rounds and your high looter level+scavenger will supplement your income. Accountant will lower the wages and negotiator will raise your standard castle income to balance off the castle upkeep.
Another way to build your main character NOBLE a small gun user = lazer gun, or rifle gun user = rapid bowgun. I chose the shotgun route because the auto-shotgun is extremely powerful. Right now my shotty has 78×10 damage. That’s 780 per shot and it have 38 ammo. INSANE damage that can easily match the rapid bowgun+bow master.
Do not get teammates that are all one type as it will be impossible to get the shared abilities that are available to certain classes.
Regarding classes: many people say that hunter and rouge are the easiest to play. Well that is true, IN THE EARLY GAME. Past day 50 these 2 classses don’t have the firepower, nor the ability to effectively kill all the mobs that come at you. Especially when the dragons+ tanks mob.
I highly recommend noble because of the base ability of having extra experience gains with damage and accuracy bonuses. If you have a noble teammate armed with gravity gun, YOU WILL see him SHOOT up in levels. At one point my teammate shot 15 levels in one day. (It was a boss day plus I used ragnarok)
I don’t recommend the mod “Bosses always drop MODS” because although this may be very useful in the early game when weapons are easily bought, LATE game the weapons that the bosses drop are the cheaper way to find those gravity guns and auto shotguns.
SISTERS: they are AWESOME late game!! I can’t believe people underestimate them! I have level 66 Sister and they each do +12000 damage to all mobs! The downside to this however… Is the gravity guns. But once a sister reaches a boss. ONE HIT THEY DIE. Period.

Just posting to say that Militia is not the only class with access to the supplier ability: Ranger gets it, too. On my file right now I’ve got a ranger with level 10 supplier.
This is a really useful guide, and helps a ton in party planning.

If anyone hasn’t said this…. please excuse me if they have
For ragnarok an easy way to win is to spam grenades since they all come in a pack

Carry over mode warns that you can’t get some medals if you use it, but it never says WHICH ones you can. So which ones can you not get in that mode?

Alright, everyone seems to underestimate Aimed Shot. As an expert rogue player, Aimed Shot is a godsend. three ranks of Aimed Shot, combined with a lazer pistol, and the accurachy to pinpoint it turn it into a critting machine. Aimed Shot isn’t around to increase your damage, it exists to improve the handling of otherwise impossible to control guns. Aimed Shot gives Cool more time to work its magic, and combined, you have a very hard time missing, and a Laser Pistol critstorm… kinda not pretty for the enemy.
Snipers are a godsend. Take one and pump its damage up as much as possible with mods, and get it its skills, and it will be the only unit engaging bosses. Typically, they can drop a boss in 2-3 shells, leaving everyone else to clean up while they do their work.
Rogue is an AMAZING financial class if played right. Once you have unseen hand, Rogue will be getting alot of free crits, and can easily be made into an armor destroyer, not to mention Laser Pistol works well with Leech. That extra money earnt actually goes up faster than one would think. More money is dropped per day, and rogue gets a greater increase per level.
Chain Guns are amazing as well… but are for players only, they have a charge up period before they fire. A high accuracy bonus with a chaingun can devastate the field at an incredible rate, making it a perfect anti ragnarok.
Bow gun isn’t as good as everyone says. Its power is… well, not so great. piercing may be a great advantage against lesser guys, but it has no use against armor, and bosses do a pretty good job of tanking it.

Question on the defender medals, does the perfect game have to be on one save, or can it be done with multiple?
… nevermind, must have miscounted.

What’s the long-term value of robbing? Do people do it in the long game?
I’m about to get the medal, but I don’t want to waste a slot in my later characters’ skills lists if its useless.
(Also, thanks for the guide. The Elona Shooter “wiki” at Wikia is just a sparse and not-too-useful page within the Elona wiki.)

Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to get one achievement using stats from multiple save files? For example, if I pray 15 times on 15 different save files, will I get the achievement?
|
|
|
metadata
No, you need to do each individual achievement within one save file. However, if you get it on one save file, you’ll automatically have it any future times you play.

Don’t know if it’s mentioned anywhere else, but I somehow managed to get the Little Girl on the Sheriff. Apparently, if you switch from Rogue/Ranger to the “Mods” screen, then back out and pick another class, the Little Girl remains. I haven’t tested to see if it works without the Mod screen, but suspect not.
