The author listed Battletoads as #1. IMO, the Final Fantasy VIII should be in #1. The game really disappointed me.

Here’s the thing about these type of articles, for the most part I grew up enjoying the majority of these games despite their faults. That being said, people read this article to gain some sort of “cosmic conformation”, that is they were right in disliking some timeless classic; that is to argue their favourite titles out of said list, a-la fanboydom. All in all though, the list contains Scribblenauts, a game which just came out this year. How on earth can that transcend to a timeless classic so quick, but now I suppose I’m being petty…

What stoic says. Though I do agree that ff7 should be on the list due to how many final fantasies there are on there. I didn’t even think people liked ff8, how can it be overrated if it’s not even liked? gah.

As for battletoads, I didn’t know people liked that game either, amazing. I played that game, and while I like a hard game, that’s not a really good example of a good hard game, or a bad hard game. “hard” isn’t really what makes it hard. Did you know it’s literally impossible to complete that game in coop mode with an unlimited lives game genie cheat? I seriously hope the QA staff for that game got canned…and beat up in an alley.

Last good FF game was 6, and a few of the spin offs have been alright.
7-12 are totally over rated.

i agree 7-12 final fantasys are overated newer ff fans dont apreciate the old school stuff

Any fighting game with a tier list should be considered and reconsidered before being purchased, but MvC2 is the worst example of a fighting game ever.

Isn’t it nice when people come along and tell you their opinion isn’t worth listening to? I don’t even like MvC2, but even the best fighters have tier lists.

FF8? lol. FF7 is the overrated one.

Upgrade Complete is the most overrated game on Kongregate.

As for games in general-COD 4’s campaign is great, but not as utterly incredible as reviewers make it seem.

The 2nd Modern Warfare even more so.

FF7 for most overrated game ever. I just want to kill all the fanboys of that game (and all but 1 of its characters, in fact.)
