Hey StarBurst, may I ask you how did you do the different heights of the sounds? Are they pitched via some code tidbit or are all of the different pitches separate sounds. I am making a game that uses different pitches of sounds and I dont know a way to make the pitches so… if you use pitching, then please tell me how you do it :D

Yes they are pitched via code =P, however it a bit of hacked as ActionScript doesn’t yet allow this, I’ll be making tutorials soon on how to do this but I’m hard at work finishing this game :), so look for it in a few weeks.

Basically, you have a new Class named ByteArray in AS3 and Loader, with the Loader Class you can load a ByteArray which can be a PNG, GIF or JPEG image or a SWF, so the trick is to create an SWF file on the fly which contain your sounds and play it, require lots of Hex Editing and such, so you might wanna look for the SWF File Format Specification

I have two-and-a-half questions.

1. Is there, or could there be, a better way to do triplets, other than a 24-20-20?

2. The copy section and duplicate sheet functions are great, but could you program a mouse tool which could copy a section of less-than-one-measure and additionally paste it on different pitches?

Thats my song, and im new to notessimo. Please give me ideas for it, i like the drums, i think im going to keep them the way they are. But im open to suggestions for what the bass should be or if i should add guitar. Any thing will help. Im going to make it longer, just dont have time right now, so suggestions will help. Thanks!

It is finished. What ‘it’ is I haven’t the foggiest idea, but the bold text never lies. Anywho, the former is a crap-in-comparison-to-my-previous-original-masterpiece and the latter has been much anticipated.

can i suggest one thing that you should add (which you are probbaly alredy planning) and that is a button to change the time signature to several others such as 6/8 and such ;)

Something you should add is keyboard shortcuts. Maybe 1 for placing notes (last used instrument), 2 for changing volume/length/etc., 3 for moving notes, and 4 for deleting. Maybe something else like q for eighth, w for quarter, e for half, r for uh.. whole, t for the bigger one T.T.

how do you make notes sharp or flat?

Nabb and hypo, i really love u after that. im a huge fan of valve/steam and i love the orange box ESPECIALLY PORTAL and that song was from the credits on portal, so i love u. and has any1 listened to my song to cretique it at all, i need some suggestions and help with it. it should be at the top of page 4! thanks for the help in advance.
