PAY ATTENTION. The default note is a quarter note. It has a duration of 16. Each measure has 64 units, therefore there are 4 quarter notes, 16+16+16+16=64, per measure. These notes can be reduced and subdivided. For example ,an eighth note, duration 8, is half as long as a quarter note, so there can be twice as many per measure. A sixteenth note is half of an eighth note etc… When, in sheet 0, you have a straight line of quarter notes, the last note (which is on the next measure anyway) resonantes for 1/4 of the next measure. Study sheets 3 and 4 carefully if you still don’t understand. If however, you prefer the constant length of quarter notes in succession, then just do sheet 1, it is not possible to make 0 + 0 = 1 in that sense.

To change the duration of a note, click a box under the horizontal scroll bar that reads Vol: 100%, Pan: 0% then change the value (16) in the text box.

Necro… 2 things. This isn’t the Notessimo 1 thread. It’s… eh, out there somewhere, I couldn’t be bothered to look.

Secondly, don’t bother pasting the whole code. There’s nothing wrong with it technically, but if everyone did that, the page would be really long, and it would take up a lot of space. If it’s notessimo 1, then go to file, and then share… you’ll get a webpage for it, so others just have to paste it into the “load URL”, which is easier for the poster to post and the user to listen to.

Notessimo 2, just click the big button that says “Share”.

HypocrisyIsFun: that was what i did at the start to, but you can clearly hear that the note is shorter than the others (and reducing them all is just making it worst

Flag Post

If that is the case then I refer you to my previous comment:

If however, you prefer the constant length of quarter notes in sucession, then just do sheet 1, it is not possible to make 0 + 0 = 1.

Just don’t use sheets. The copy measure function was made for cases like this.

Sorry DarkChameleon, but heres the song I said I’d make:

I feel the need to give some constructive criticism here, even though it’s not directly asked for. I think more electronics would be in order =)

It’s supposed to be an MP5, but I think I made it too big. shrugs
WARNING: Do not, I repeat, DO NOT have your speakers turned up for this!

I think sheet 7 is better now..?

http://notessimo.net/?id=606

bullettimebob: I liked your song, can’t say anything else.

Flag Post

Cool, thanks. The reason I used those specific hi hat noises in MP5 is because I thought they sounded like machine gun fire, which sparked the idead to make it.

This is some work in progess…

Ok, I just want to apologize for not having Still Alive done. I think I gave up on it a long time ago, because it was quite a tricky song to make, and I didn’t have much time on my hands for the past few weeks. But, if anyone still wants me too, I’ll be happy to make it now. Unless of course, you don’t trust me, think I’ll just give up on it again, and don’t bother asking me. In which case, good choice. ;)

Also, I was just fiddling around with the new(ish) instruments and came up with this; Leafs, by Chaos Opera

I think I made it ok, but it’s a long time since I heard that song, and I couldn’t remember the sequences. But anyway, hope you like it. :)

Flag Post

It’s okay. I’m occupied learning it on the piano, now =P.

Can I see what you have, so far, though?

Flag Post

You know, I did have something, but it… doesn’t seem to be there anymore. I think it may have got erased when I had to clear my cache to play Dinowaurs. Or for some other unknown reason. :S

Also, good luck learning it on the Piano. It took me quite a while to learn it well (yeah, I wanted to learn it too :P), because it’s a tricky song compared to the songs I used to play.
