Your the fifth person who has asked that just TODAY. Try them yourself, and see which you like best. Krin and Armor Games did a good job with Sonny, and all the classes are well balanced. They all have strengths and weaknesses, play the classes and figure out which you like best.

It’s a valid topic for the Games forum, and I couldn’t find any of those five other threads.
Anyway, I don’t think it’s the Guardian. I’m playing one, and I know that due to the way I’m playing I would be vastly more effective with higher strength – which the Destroyer gear would give me. Maybe there’s more useful Guardian only gear later on, but it all just seems to be bonuses to defense. Defense doesn’t kill things.

If you’re aiming for taking out the final boss, Shadow, I would probably probably suggest the Assassin or Destroyer. I’m struggling a bit to take him out as a gunslinger, but I know full well that it wouldn’t be as much of a problem had I picked something else. The rest of the game was easy enough as a slinger though. I’m only talking in terms of the final boss.

Every class should be fine. Personally I’m finding the Guardian is the best class.
My gunslinger strategy, at level 25, for killing the Shadow is Break, 2x Shatter Bolt, 2x Magic Bolt, 2x Electro Bolt, and Disruption (important!), with Amber and Dux. Disruption when Sinjid has 100 focus, and just keep spamming the stuns.

The huge flaw in that one is your gunslinger’s tendency to miss. It’s especially easy to miss when he has his 500% speed boost up. If you miss the stun, you’re toast.
A gunslinger strategy that I found all too easy was to simply equip a couple of interventions, magic bolts, and some blood focus attacks. Let him kill you’re other two dudes. You can try to keep them around, but you don’t need them at all. You become immune to all of his attacks with intervention up, even his big 6k+ attack. shield, shield, shield all day. Sit back in your shield and magic bolt him to death. Recover your focus with the blood move when you’re running low. It’s flawless. I didn’t take a single point of damage that whole fight except for the measly 3% I sacrifice for the blood focus. (which I gained right back because of intervention)

i find gunslinger the best by far. i have finished the game and defeated the final boss shadow loads of time. my electro bolt now does over 2k damage. all you have to do is make sure you use items that keep your vitality up. i also found haveing the destroyer on your side helps the enemy usually tagets him first and he has the highest health.

I used the guardian the first time… I think on the Armor website… and the final boss was easy enough. It only took me three tries or something, until after I finally broke down and decided to actually make my character just for killing the final boss. Then I won.

Classes don’t matter in Sonny, at all.

After you’ve beaten it with all the classes..You realize that all of the classes have a boss that is hard for them.. I like to play as a Gunslinger for the final boss, but it might just be the way I play.

True, but the best depends on how you play.

No.
Hell, the strategy for each class is exactly the same.

Basically, there are two things you need to consider when picking a class: Not Dying and Making Others Die. A better way to state this is Survival and Damage. So, a VERY general breakdown:
Assassin has medium survival and high damage.
Destroyer has high survival and high damage.
Guardian has high survival and medium damage.
Destroyer is actually the most balanced, and the best class to use. Given, assassins’ attacks have the potential to have more power than destroyers’ and guardians’ defense are slightly better than Destroyer’s, it’s all about balance.

It depends on your play style. I like assassin because they always miss you but guardian is the easiest to use

They do matter, they afect your starting stats, AND how much the stats increase for every level you gain.

Guardian is best by far. I couldn’t get past zone 3 with anything else. Btw, I still didn’t beat it. :D
