To add to what Stone said, and to make sure you get how bad the Deep Web is, there are a type of people called bug-chasers and they WANT to get ill and sick. People pay a person that is HIV positive to send them a bag filled with their blood and semen, so they can inject and contaminate themselves. They then form a ring, and trade these bags in a circle, creating a super-resistant strand of HIV that is drug and immunity resistant. They then plan to release it to the public to make a “HIV utopian world.”

Isn’t it already difficult (if even possible) to cure HIV/AIDS?

There is no cure known cure to AIDS (If there was, it would be as big as finding a cure to cancer). But the bug-chaser’s plans are to make a resistant strand of the virus so when scientists experiment for the cure, and they take a sample from a resistant strand of AIDS, the scientists will just say “Fuck it! Its impossible, we’ve literally tried everything.”

Undernet is synonymous with Deep Web. Deep Web is simply the more current term people use.

Also, not all of the undernet is bad. I’m part of a couple forums there that house immense book collections.

Then why are you only pointing out the seedier places? I’ve made several good friends via undernet. Some people just like their privacy and dislike google/facebook/[information hub].

Also, the assassin thing is a total scam. Everyone there knows it.

Because nobody is intrested in sombody talking about Book Clubs, and what not, people want to hear about the drug deals, CP, and under ground fights to the death. Though some places are regular like Gevock said above. It just seems like the bad out weighs the good there.

There is actually a way to cure it, but only the weakest strand, JUST as it enters the body. It involves about 15 different drugs, but it only works against some of the weakest and slowest HIVs.

If I remember correctly, the problem with trying to cure HIV is the constantly changing and numerous strands.

(I think people were expecting it to be identical, and the minor differences in format and cast were enough to ruin it for them. I liked it, but obviously I was very much in the minority.)

I always thought of “skate” as referring to roller skating, and “skateboard” as referring to skateboarding.

Where I live, “Skate” means Skateboarding, “Ice Skating” is where you do it on ice obviously, and “Blading” as in roller blading or roller skating.

It’s not a very good kitchen table, you can’t play guitar hero with it, and you can’t browse the internet on it.

Now, let me combat all these points one by one by applying my logic.

1) Social Interaction: While it is true that despite being in the same forum, many of us never talk or meet outside a game, it is also preemptitive that THIS FORUM IS FOR THAT SPECIFIC PURPOSE. I can’t really stress this point enough. Within this forum, the only thing we are SUPPOSED to do is play and enjoy forum games, as the legend clearly states. This is no place for community interaction and socialization.

Though it sounds harsh, I must rebuke you, randomturtle, for taking this step. We already have our community driven organization, otherwise known as ‘Master FGF Thread’. We meet, discuss and express our opinions in that specific thread. We do not have the need to do any other socialization beside that. If we want to let others know something, we can easily do so at the Master FGF Thread. I daresay it will be more compact, and get a wider audience. Needless sub threads are what we DO NOT want.

In short, we do not need this thread because your primary point is null and void.

2) Increase Post Count: We have OT for that very purpose. If you really need to increase your post count, please go off there.

3) Game Related Discussion: Can be done within the game thread without significant cluttering. If it gets out of hand, the OP can easily ban it. And if it continues after being banned, it is clear that the perpetrators of the crime do not care to post anywhere else. Case closed.

4) As Kidude said.

If anyone agrees with me, you do not need to post anymore. Simply delete your post to show your support. Random, if you wish to argue, use the post above you. I will counter you in this very post. If others support you over me, you are free to do as you want.

How many times should I repeat that FGF IS NOT FOR ANY KIND OF CHATTING? There are chatboxes for that, and for long discussions, Profile shouts. Soon, you guys will be saying that we need to have our own private chatroom.

Less fights? In a thread that encourages debate? We have SD for serious debates, and OT for the non-serious ones. Spamming? Yeah right, no spamming in an abusable discussion thread. Breaking rules? Making this thread is breaking a rule, since the original rule is that the thread should be used strictly for game-related purposes. Spam games will be there forever no matter what we do. And trolls are something else completely. I am sure this is where trolls will strike first from now.

That thread could have been readily replaced by a single post in the Master FGF thread. It was relevant to the number of posts, after all. Can you name any other places where celebration threads would be necessary? All those thread requirements can be met elsewhere.

What the hell? I’m actually playing RDR now with my ginger friend. I mentioned you as “My American friend” and he said "What’s his name again? Captain Cheddar? But man, poaching bears and singing cowboy songs was pretty awesome.
