Hello, and welcome, people of Siberia. I am the President of UFoW, and today I will explain your situation.
The American plutocracy has rolled into your land under the guise of liberators and protectors. They have done nothing. They struck while we were most vulnerable, entangled in civil war caused by the very same kind of evil imperalists that have captured you. You have been stolen away from your rightful country, like a child kidnapped by a desperate man hoping for a ransom.
This cannot continue. The invaders have tantalized poor Siberians who do not know any better with promises of aid that never come; instead, they have set up military bases, training facilities, and feed their troops meat and wine while the Russian people starve. They promise freedom like never before; instead, they regulate your lives, forcing you to work at meaningless jobs for the benefit of men who despise you. They shut off your communications with the outside world, forcing you-

Because of the length of the military operations in the Fall of 2024 and the multitude of nations involved is so great, a separate category has been created for the war exclusively.
Before we begin, we must review the sides; many readers might be in confusion about just who is fighting who in this earth-shattering conflict some are now calling World War Three. Without further ado, let us present the sides:
Defending the Russian right to Siberian land and supporting Caucasus’ dreams of conquest are: The Ursine Aegis, Chile, the Oceanic Republic, and Turkey!
Supporting the US’s investigation and right to Siberian land it claimed had no owner, as well as the independence of the other Caucasus nations are: The UNA, the IDC, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Yemen!
The three fronts of the war that are currently active are the Siberian Front, the Caucasus Front, and the (at present limited to Hawaii) Pacific Front. There are also three areas termed “miscellaneous zones” which will be discussed in their separate section. We shall begin with the smallest.
Pacific Front
-The Oceanic Republic declares that UNA had no right to invade, as its investigation was not definitive. Furthermore, it implies that UNA was merely seeking an excuse to go to war, and suggests the plausibility of the attacks being nothing more than a false flag operation. With this declaration comes a declaration of war: The Oceanic Republic declares war against, UNA, beginning operations with a surprise attack:
-Hawaiian patrols inform Hawaii of significant naval movements coming from the Oceanic Republic, with warships and transports moving towards Hawaii, 16 hours before the aforementioned declaration. Sadly for the Hawaiians, 85% of their armed forces was at the time en route to Siberia, and could not defend the homeland; despite early warning, the Oceanic troops quickly took Oahu, conquering island to island afterwards. The Hawaiian government retreated to the inner areas of the Big Island, where the President and his cabinet left for Minneapolis and the remainder of the military began to launch guerrilla strikes. As it stands now, Oceanic troops hold almost all populated areas of Hawaii and the only places controlled by the government in exile are deep in the Big Island, and Oceanic troops are set to root them out come winter.

Caucasus Front
-Most of the Korean army is sent to assist the Caucasus states (other than Caucasus) in their fight against the Ursine Alliance, as it has come to be known.
-Half the Chilean army is sent to the Caucasus front, as well as half the Ursine Aegis’s army and the entire Turkish military, as this is Turkish home turf.
-Turkey sends a contingent to take the IDC military base in the north, eliminating IDC presence in the Caucasus front. The base falls easily simply due to being massively outnumbered, though the IDC troops put up a good fight.
-Turkey and Chile join forces to launch a counter-invasion of Armenia, and take quite a bit of the country as Armenian troops are currently in Georgia supporting the Korean deployment.
-The northern front in Georgia is deadlocked as neither side is willing to make a move. Finally, as the Chilean-Turkish invasion gets going, the Armenian army begins a retreat towards Armenia to defend the homeland. UA forces fail to take advantage of this move, which turns out well; it was a well-laid trap, and the Korean army had set up ambush points. If the UA had been more aggressive, they would have had a considerable portion of their Caucasus contingent wiped out. Instead, the fake retreat turns into a real retreat, as Korean troops go with Armenian ones (Azerbaijan is holding the line on its side of the Caucasus) to defend Armenia. Not wishing to initiate a large-scale battle with the opposing forces in Armenia, Korea and Armenia fight several inconclusive skirmishes and then make a full retreat to southeastern Armenia and the Azerbaijani border, where they set up defenses for the next round of fighting.
-The Kyoto Alliance, named after a pact signed in Kyoto declaring universal cooperation between the nations fighting against the Ursine Alliance, receives bombing by an unknown force in the Caucasus front in all areas. As nobody entered into a real fight, the bombings did not provide much assistance, but they perhaps influenced the Korean decision to retreat from a decisive battle against the Chilean and Turkish forces.
Siberian Front
-On the Ursine side, the only help it receives outside of the Aegis is half of Chile’s army, which it puts to use along the long Siberian border.
-Numerous invasions by the Kyoto alliance occur here; UNA mounts its offensive with the brunt of its forces, M-COW launches a naval invasion, and the IDC invades the oil fields and beyond.
-First up, the UNA invasion. As almost all Aegis and Chilean troops are concentrated here, UNA is bearing most of the burden while its allies are advancing through territory with little more than a few skirmishes. UNA launches its assault all along the line, and slowly pushes through with its superior forces and training (UNA troops have all adapted to Siberia by now, so the Aegis receives no advantage in that regard). The fight is long and hard, and all sides lose significant amounts of troops. Bombardment by Arabian bombers launched from an unknown source helps some, though, and UNA manages to push the Ursine Alliance back all along the line.
-M-COW launches an invasion on the coast near the eastern border, and proceeds in a cone meeting up with the IDC advance. Little resistance is had, because the Aegis is fighting UNA so hard.
-The IDC moves to conquer the oil fields, and reconaissance and sabotage by IDC saboteurs increases their pushing power, though they have little opposition anyway. The entire oil field is now under IDC control, shutting off profits for the Aegis. IDC businesses are already expanding into the area, and profits should be rolling in next quarter unless the Ursine Alliance reconquers the area.
-Aegis and Chilean troops are fully encircled overland, and the coastline is small enough to effectively blockade. If the Kyoto Alliance exploits this opportunity, they could starve the Ursine troops not only of food but of vital ammunition.

Miscellaneous
-The most important miscellaneous happening is the bombing of UNA territory. Suspiciously similar to the incident in UFoW that kicked off the Russian Civil War, high-altitude stealth bombers carpet bomb UNA cities such as Toronto, Minneapolis (the USA’s capital), Montreal, Los Angeles, Anchorage (Alaska’s capital), and Spokane (the capital of Washington). These named cities are only a fraction of those affected, and UNA’s overall economy and stability is greatly weakened. Protests are held in all major cities, decrying UNA’s actions as mere imperialism and urging government to stop the war as their families either die in bombings or in Siberia. Rebellious sentiment begins to heat up, and if the governments of UNA don’t do something, it may lead to secession. Unfortunately, with the economic problems caused by these bombings and the massive war spending, it may be hard for UNA or its formative nations to budget this.
-Qatar and Yemen, following Saudi Arabian orders, do their part and paradrop into Moscow and St. Petersburg, taking control of the capital cities of two Aegis countries. As the economies of both UFoW and the Free State aren’t too city-focused after cities were targeted by nukes and bombs, they do not suffer significant drops, but the loss of the capital (combined with the losses on the Siberian Front) reduce national morale.
-The IDC scrambles its airforce and navy to defend all IDC countries from bombings and such, but it was wasted. The USA could have really benefited from such an action, but sadly it was the IDC leadership, not UNA’s, that thought of it. The IDC’s commitment to defending its people is celebrated alliance-wide, and IDC countries (with the exception of Armenia and Azerbaijan, who feel overlooked and disgruntled at their losses) feel that the war is going great.
Well, that concludes the war summary! Overall, the war seems to be going better for the Kyoto Alliance than for the Ursine Alliance; the Ursines are winning two fronts, but the one they are losing is the most important, and the Caucasus front is still heavily contested. However, UNA might be forced to withdraw because of its internal problems caused by the bombings.
But we can’t forget, of course: The President, while sitting down to eat, sees his dinner, plate and all, explode right in front of him. The shrapnel gives him minor injuries, but the insultingness of it all is the worst. Damn that German ghost!

A new nation joins the Kyoto Alliance side: Finland!
Defending the Russian right to Siberian land and supporting Caucasus’ dreams of conquest are: The Ursine Aegis, Chile, the Oceanic Republic, and Turkey!
Supporting the US’s investigation and right to Siberian land it claimed had no owner, as well as the independence of the other Caucasus nations are: The UNA, the IDC, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, and Finland!
Pacific Front
-Three weeks into the Fall, Oceanic troops take the inner parts of Hawaii where Hawaiian troops are still hiding out, ending the country’s existence as a sovereign state.
-Another week after that, Saudi Arabia relentlessly bombs Hawaii from an unknown platform, causing quite a bit of chaos among the Oceanic Army, as the islands are small and it is easy to get every target. Then, Saudi Arabian spec ops teams are paradropped in, seizing key points and assaulting Oceanic bases. After that, UNA troops diverted from the Siberian Front land to clean up. The Oceanic Army begins a full retreat from the islands, but many of its departing transports are sunk by submarines. Hawaii is re-established as a nation, and its government in exile moves back to Honolulu.
Caucasus Front
-About a sixth of the UA army in Armenia descends into Iran, and the other five sixths start moving towards the Kyoto army in western Azerbaijan. The Iranian division comes in at the same time as the frontal assault; while Korean commanders saw it coming by a couple of days, the defenses they had already mustered (a great deal was invested in artillery behind the lines) were pointed at Armenia instead of Iran. The flanking attack was augmented by two things: one, another extensive bombing campaign, thinning out Kyoto forces further, and two, dissidents in the area unhappy with IDC rule provided detailed maps of the defenses, allowing the UA army to attack with maximum effectiveness. The battle is a defeat for the Koreans, and they retreat to the East (first going north to escape the armies coming from both sides) and prepare to cross the Caspian if aid is not given. Armenia is wiped out by the UA advance.
-China and some other IDC backers transfer massive amounts of troops to Greece, and with the Greek army launch an invasion of Turkey from the west, taking Istanbul and its massive fortifications, as well as all the Turkish coast on the Aegean and pushing deeper in. The Turkish economy is shot, and public opinion is no longer clearly in favor of the war.
-The old IDC base in Turkey is bombed so that Turkey can gain no military benefit from it.
Siberian Front
-UFoW orders its troops in Siberia to march into the north of China and set up bases there, living off the land by stealing from Chinese citizens (as the blockade and its distance from UA-held territory ensures it has little food). They make no attack, but as they are entirely outnumbered and outgunned in the area it is unsure what their plan is.
-Chile moves to defend the southern coast, but the lack of coordination with its comrade dooms it from the outset. Chilean troops manage to hold off the IDC blockade for about a month, but in the end the IDC navy proves too strong for the Chilean navy to defeat. Chilean troops are bombed by the IDC, and even though UNA troops were given orders to be very cautious because of their journey to Hawaii, they decide to advance and force Chile out of Siberia. The Chilean navy makes one last push to defend the outgoing troops going back to the Chilean homeland, losing many battleships but preserving the bulk of the army. The Siberian front no longer has any real opposition from the Ursine Alliance.

Miscellaneous
-The IDC continues its air and naval defenses over its entire airspace, and discovers an attack! Stealth bombers were found above the most important cities of China and Korea; before they were discovered, they let loose a few bombs, but IDC jet fighters in the area scrambled and fought them off before they could do any real economic damage. Several bombers were downed, but the vast majority got away; clearly these are quite advanced models. The downed bombers immediately self-destructed after being shot down, removing any chance of uncovering evidence.
-The IDC drops in aid for the UNA citizens affected by the bombings of last quarter, helping improve stability. This along with the massive victories UNA has had this quarter pacifies the populace, and nobody secedes.
-Finland enters into the war, and proceeds to attack the UNP and the Free State, taking some of the Kola peninsula, most of Karelia, and the entire St. Petersburg area that Qatar did not take control of. The economy of the Free State is further destroyed, and Aegis income is reduced.
-Similar to the events in China and Korea, the air and naval defenses funded by UNA this quarter find invading stealth bombers trying to bomb cities that were already mostly destroyed by nukes; including places like Los Angeles, Dallas, and Washington, DC. The stealth bombers are fought off and retreat to wherever they came from. Like in the IDC, a few are shot down, but self-destruct.
-A series of strikes on military bases in Mexico occur, culminating in a failed assassination attempt on the Mexican President. The attackers all spoke English, and used American weaponry, and in the assassination attempt, a Canadian-made sniper rifle was discovered in the hotel room the would-be assassin used as his vantage point. Also implicating UNA, a document containing a UNA plan to conquer all of the Americas is left behind. The American media lampoons this as an obvious attempt to frame UNA, with one commentator saying “If the USA wanted to give all its land to Brazil, we’d just ask them nicely, not declare war.” Mexico, while agreeing with the American government that if it were to wage war on Mexico, it would not do it while it was waging war on a giant list of other countries, but Mexico is spooked by the attempts and calls for an international investigation to discover who really orchestrated the attacks. Mexico appeals to ALAN for funding in this investigation.
Well, that concludes the war summary! This Fall, the war really seemed to swing in favor of the Kyoto Alliance; while the Caucasus area itself is all but lost, a new invasion of Turkey from the west threatens one of the strongest contributors to the Ursine Alliance, and all Chilean forces have been fought out of the Siberian Front, leaving only the Aegis army which will not be able to stand up to attacks from three powers by itself.

Why the fuck would you assume that because I wanted to attack the oil field that that meant to charge headon into the defense like retards.
I was thinking more of “Set up a position to attack and launch small tactical strikes on the oil filed”. I just assumed it would be obvious not to send my soldiers charging into machineguns like the retards that are lemmings.
So, you effectively killed my army by assuming that I would give an obviously retarded order.

Because I forgot about Firespread’s allies, I will be editing the update to fix this.
In the future, it is best to be specific. You said “attack” and that doesn’t mean the same thing as “set up positions for an assault and launch opportunistic strikes.”

Iran invaded? So shouldn’t they be brown now, if they’re on our side?

Turkey cut through Iranian territory to get a better attacking position. They were out too quick for Iran to make a military response.
