Summer 2025
World
-Read the bottom for the real meat of the update, the massive war. This area, where everything normally happens, is mostly just going to be me changing numbers and writing “X country contributes to the war. (-$lots of money)” over and over again. There is also some stuff here though.

-The USA gets $2T from NHON to help with its nuke problem. (+$2T)
-The USA begins immediately restabilizing, cleaning up radiation, evacuating civilians, and setting up temporary homes for those affected by the bombings. Afterwards, there is some small propaganda trying to get Americans to believe in their nation once more, and the President gives a speech about how even though the USA has suffered mass nuclear strikes on two separate occasions, its resolve has not been broken and it is still one of the most influential nations in the world, and its influence will only grow with the defeat of the Ursine Alliance. These things get the nation’s stability up back to stable, but not before the secessions which occur. Most of the radiation is cleaned up, though. (-$2T, Stability Increase, Economic Increase))

Surprise attacks by the Oceanic Republic and the Republic of China (Taiwan) add two more nations to the Ursine Alliance’s side. However, the defeat in Russia takes away the Aegis’s support.
Defending the Russian right to Siberian land and supporting Caucasus’ dreams of conquest are: Chile, the Allies of the Federation, Turkey, the Oceanic Republic, the Republic of China, and Australia!
Supporting the US’s investigation and right to Siberian land it claimed had no owner, as well as the independence of the other Caucasus nations are: The UNA, the IDC, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, and Finland!
Mediterranean Front
-To reflect its new focus, the Caucasus Front has been renamed to the Mediterranean Front.
-China and Greece continue their advance through Turkey. The conquest is nearly complete; next quarter, if the army continues on its current course, it will be bumping up against Armenia.
-Caucasus musters its army and launches an amphibious assault on Istanbul. Turkish knowledge of the defenses is shared, giving them an advantage in the ensuing battle, which turns out well. China and Greece put little emphasis on guarding Istanbul, allowing an easy capture.
-Chile and Turkey launch a lightning offensive against the southern part of Turkey, to gain a port. They succeed in this venture, though the area is quickly recaptured, and they transport their armies to Greece and attack undefended Athens. From there they conquer most of the Peloponnese peninsula as well as fighting their way northwest. There is very little defense, and the Ursine Alliance army loses very few troops.
-What few Greek troops are left in Greece are heavily bombed, using the acid bombs seen before in the Caucasus as well as more conventional ones. The bombings have little effect, because of how easy it was to beat back the Greek defenses anyway.
Siberian Front
-A convoy of Australian naval vessels is noticed, seemingly bound for Siberia, but it is intercepted by Saudi Arabia’s extensive patrolling and is chased back to Australia, losing a few ships in the process.

Asian Front
-To distinguish the goings-on in East Asia from those in Siberia, the Asian Front has been opened.
-To avoid the radiation, IDC troops retreat to the oil field. This proves to be a very poor decision, and those defenses would have been greatly appreciated in blocking the offensives made by the Ursine Alliance in the region.
-Firstly, Australia marches its army in Korea down to Seoul, taking the city easily. Korea’s leader escapes to Tokyo, but Korea takes a significant economic hit. Australia also has its planes on standby to begin bombing if they encounter signifcant resistance, but it is not needed.
-Secondly, Chile, taking control of the Aegis troops in the region, uses them to march on Beijing. The troops are not very numerous and China could easily respond in force next quarter, but the loss of China’s capital wounds its economy.
-The Oceanic Republic breaks its treaty of cease fire and attacks the Shanghai area, with similar results; their army is small and would not hold up to a sustained IDC assault, but the economic damage it inflicts is quite severe.
-The Republic of China, declaring that it will finally put an end to the rebellion and reclaim mainland China for the rightful government, attacks the Hong Kong/Macau/Guangzhou area and conquers it easily like the rest of the Chinese regions under attack.
-No serious rebellions occur in China, but there are protests in the eastern provinces, especially in Tibet. There are rumors that there is an underground rebellion movement preparing for a violent strike next quarter; we shall see if they are substantiated.
Russian Front
-Four nations (Saudi Arabia, Finland, Korea and the USA) converge on the Ursine Aegis. The combined assaults wipe the entire nation out, laughing off its feeble attempts at defense. The Ursine Aegis is no more. UFoW’s leader was not found; he is presumably still alive but in hiding.
Miscellaneous
-Texas decides that it is better off on its own, specifically not picking fights with nuclear powers. It secedes and states that if the USA wants to attack it, it will certainly have a fight on its hands.
-The territories of the United States also secede, being even more culturally (and physically) distant from the US, they prefer not to fight a war they see as useless when their lives are in danger.
Well, that concludes the war summary! While the Ursine Aegis was eliminated, in other areas the Ursine Alliance made very large gains.

Shouldn’t Taiwan be yellow now, presuming that yellow territory represents the Ursine Alliance’s holdings in Asia?
EDIT: Unless you meant to specifically denote only what we took. I’m just saying. That’s been the trend thus far with group assaults by the Ursine Alliance, changing everything to one color.

Funny jokes.
You claim a win when you’re about to be destroyed.
More like this:
America: 1
Germany: 0
UA: 1

I don’t think it counts very firmly as an American victory if you continually lose territory to secession while failing to gain anything significant from your conquests.

Wow, you guys think I lost anything when the states seceded? I lost nothing and gained a valuable (and profitable) trading partner and ally. Every time a state has seceded, my power has grown. Of course, Russia probably doesn’t get it because he mismanaged his civil war into a massive loss.

You did not gain anything. All you gain is your empire slowly collapsing and fading away. You can’t just make them more trading partners, and every secession hurts you.

You’re right. Chile, in fact, fully supports the secession of all of the remaining states of the USA!

I wish. Unfortunately, it only seems to happen when there’s been some sort of massive catastrophe, and being nuked hurts my other stats.

Ah, that’s a tragedy indeed. Perhaps you would like for a prominent nearby alliance to launch an invasion, then, to facilitate further secession?

His stated reason for invading in the Eurasian war: “For fun”. His stated reason for invading this time: Because I was talking to my people. His real reason: For fun, and I uncovered this with a little investigation of my own.
He killed millions and enslaved an entire race… for fun.
