-Spain makes a trade pact with Chile as well as joining the UCAEN, cementing its relations with Latin America by befriending an important ALAN member as well as securing a position within one of the strongest world alliances.

You may have noticed that Yemen apparently no longer exists. Fear not! What really happened is I missed a few PMs which could be critical for the results of Yemen, and so I could only respond to them when I was looking through my PM list thoroughly to write the update, which was naturally at around 3 AM, so yeah.

The Yemen Update will be sometime today or tonight.

-The Assembly of Yemen votes to remain in the UCAEN, but the decision is very close and won by only seven votes. As independence from the UCAEN won’t even occur in a nation like Yemen, it is likely a pipe dream for most others. This coupled with Saudi Arabia’s declaration last quarter stifle the agitation for a new Muslim alliance, and the UCAEN’s integrity is no longer threatened.

-Chile continues funding Al-Shabaab. Chile recommends that Al-Shabaab set up a stable income source for when Chile decides to spend money on other things, and so Al-Shabaab creates a variety of companies with the large contribution Chile gives it. They are generally successful, especially operating in a time of economic boom due to the UCAEN’s continuous economic improvements, and Al-Shabaab is raking in the dough. (-$150B)
-Chile works with Turkey to improve its economy, and combined with Turkey’s own efforts, Turkey is very close to becoming Prosperous. (-$350B)
-The Andean Confederation’s research pays dividends and Chile’s stability is boosted considerably.

Well, this game is pretty realistic in nature. HappyYay is, obviously, the only one who knows how strange he wants the game to get, but y’know. For the most part it’s been realistic and in my personal opinion that’s part of why it’s so great.

That and I have developed the belief that HappyYay has an encyclopedia of everything ever to exist sitting next to his computer.

Indeed, I like the realistic aspect of the game. Perhaps in the next NotW game (if Happy makes one (and if this one ever ends xD)) it could be less realistic, but this game has tried to maintain realism and it’s worked well for it, so I believe it should stick too it.

Also, sorry for my inactivity. I’ve had stuff going on and my interest in this game kind of dropped (it’s been going on for 6 months now and I’ve been playing since the start of NotW 1). Hopefully I can pick up where I left off and get back into the game.

United Coalition of Afro-Eurasian Nations; 3.6T (+6.65T Income)

-The UCAEN essentially finishes its economic improvements, working on the more war-torn areas of the Balkans, Indonesia, as well as some nations in the Middle East who are not quite up to standards. In addition, Somalia is given a little boost; even though it has gone through multiple rounds of improvements, it is still one of the poorer UCAEN nations. After these improvements, every UCAEN nation can be considered to be Affluent or above. (-$8T)
-The UCAEN starts up military training across the alliance, focusing on better rather than more troops, as well as improving guerilla capabilities both utilizing guerilla tactics and fighting them. Trainers experienced in such matters are brought in specifically for this purpose. The project is generally successful, but the scope is so large even though the UCAEN has spent quite a bit on this project only a small fraction of the eventual goal has been finished. (-$2T)
-The UCAEN uses Spanish solar technology to provide a source of power for its lunar bases near the poles, as well as constructing nuclear power plants for those bases not gifted with near-permanent sunlight. The costs here are quite large, and the project is only half complete, but once finished this will provide an excellent way to sustainably perform lunar agriculture. (-$2T)
-The UCAEN recruits Poland, Austria, and the Czech Republic to the alliance, providing them with a small stipend in return for their prompt agreement. Switzerland was also given the chance to join, but it is committed to neutrality and states that the Swiss economy needs no assistance. (-$0.6T)

Unfortunately I just couldn’t think of any ideas for activated nations, so there are none.

I do have a different idea on how to spice up the game. We’ll be seeing that shortly.

Some stuff has been edited, the affected sections are the UCAEN, the Andean Confederation, and Chile. Also, maps have been updated.

Edit: Nevermind, maps have not been updated. Imageshack has decided not to let me upload images. Hopefully they’ve got their shit straightened out tomorrow.
