Unfortunately, that means no money goes into the pot for this first task.

Basically this. Unless Fogfun told S_98 that he was the intruder, in which case Fogfun’s the mole. Either way, it must be one of them.

Round 1, Task 2: How Good is Your Memory?
Remember those seemingly pointless questions I asked you at the end of your applications? Well, here’s the point of them: You must now determine how a majority of the players answered each question. Your submission should contain the question number, followed by the answer that you think was answered by a majority of the players. You must submit your answers for all seven questions at the same time. Also, this didn’t seem to be entirely clear during the first task, so I’ll note it here: You may only make one submission in total as a group.

Note: Since there is an even number of players, it is possible that one or more of the questions ended up in a tie. If a tie exists, you must answer that question with “tie” in order to receive credit for it.

You must not look back at your application PMs during this task. I know it’s only been a week or so since you all applied, but there’s still a chance that some of you will not remember how you answered a certain question. Or maybe that’s just the mole conveniently “forgetting”…

$5,000 will be placed into the pot for every correct answer, so a maximum of $35,000 is possible for this task.

The deadline for this task is December 28 at 4:00 PM CST/GMT-6, or 3 days from now.

As the first task showed, you might not want to make any hasty decisions…

And remember, you will be quizzed on your suspicions about the mole, so you might want to keep your true suspicions to yourself ;)

Oops—yeah, I changed that question before posting the application, but didn’t change it in my notes (yeah, I have notes, too). The question that was on the application is the one you should use—I’ll edit my post now.

Since many of you are primarily active when I’m asleep, I’m going to go ahead and bump this before I go to bed so that everyone gets an opportunity to see it.

And I promise that I am not the Mole! Do not waste your time in voting me off! I am warning that you will regret it… I know I am bluntly brushing accusations off but it might be the most effective way of saving time.

Actually, I think that the mole is either S_98, Fogfun, or YOU, LouWeed. Such a convincing argument (you had me convinced for a while) makes me think that you are trying to convince people that you are not the mole.

(And before anyone says the same thing about me because of this post, if I was the Mole, I simply wouldn’t have said anything, leaving everyone convinced that either S_98 or Fogfun is the Mole)

Have I ever lied to the FGF-ers? Just look at my forum post log. Look at it. I am not the Mole. I wouldn’t be saying this and attracting everyone’s attention if I were the Mole, right? Think about it.

It seems excessive, but it’s the safest way…

Classic case of reverse psychology… I’m keeping a log of people who may be using reverse psychology as candidate for who is possibly the mole.

Nevertheless… I still don’t think there’s enough evidence supporting it. Sure, we could just take a shot in the dark, but that seems too risky to me.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do?

It seemed suspicious that Fogfun was not going to put his vote yet, (I thought it was an attrition vote) and his tone of voice saying Merry Christmas at the end to stop us thinking. I misinterpreted the Merry Christmas part, sorry.
