But in Corrupt-a-Wish, you have to “corrupt the above poster’s wish.”, I think that falls under “______ the above poster”
A little late to respond, huh :P? Anyways, if I remember correctly, Corrupt-a-Wish was considered an exception because it was made before the rules were.

I see, but the rules still should’ve been enforced on corrupt-a-wish =|

It could have been deleted the moment the rules were made, but now it’s impossible because Corrupt-a-Wish is like part of the furniture. It would be like deleting a sticky.

If you ask me the rules aren’t enforced that heavily on them. Mix your user name with the above poster. Even KoTH is a kill the above poster game. The games are simple and provide some entertainment.

Yeah. I would like them to stay. What’s KoTH?

That is just an opinion. Games like that aren’t allowed, however they are still there. Why? Because we have to have rulebreakers. Seriously though, just because it was made before the rules were made(or was it?), it should not be considered an exception. That’s like saying that even though somebody posted porn on the site, the rules denying it were made after that post, so nothing should be done with the person/post.

It’s the same 90% of the other continuous games, meaning should we scrap the genre entirely(leave out mine of course :P)…In a forum games forum, where I admit I was surprised that those types of games weren’t allowed.

I reckon we should have at least SOME above-the-poster games, but not a whole heap of them. The ones we have now are fine, just nobody make any more.

I personally believe it should have 100+ posts to contribute to the P/T ratio.

Every post in an existing thread contributes to the P/T ratio, even if that thread doesn’t have 100 posts.
also the P/T ratio means absolutely nothing

True but wether or not the thread as 100+ posts show if it has a positive or negative effect on the P/T ratio.

I think Z and I share the thought that ‘above user’ threads are acceptable if posts require effort and thought. The rule was created to fend off post count spam.

Post count spam is good if controled.

If something is “spam”, by definition, it means that it is not controlled, and thus, not acceptable.
