Hi,
This RP will be about the Zombie apocalypse (Obviously)
You will need to make a character
Your character will need to use this template:

Name:
Weapon/s:
Skill:
Description of self:
Brief History:

This is a description of each category:
Name: The name you wish for your character to be named
Weapon/s: The weapon you start with
Skill: Your talent
Description of self: How you look
Brief History: Your past and before you arrived here

To make things fair and make sure nobody is Over Powered, You will have to choose a single weapon and skill. If you see the symbol ‘&’ in a selection, you can have both

Your choices for weapons are:
1) Steel baseball bat (Average weapon, not too heavy, can do some damage, can daze any zombie hit)
2) Fire Axe (Average weapon, not too heavy , can do some damage, can cut off limbs of zombies)
3) Sledge hammer (Strong weapon, Heavy so takes longer for next swing, damage is as strong as a gun, Can easily break objects/doors)
4) Hammer & Knife (Weak weapons, both light and doesn’t hinder your movement, damage is weak but can rapidly attack instead, can easily create barricades)
5) Pistol & 3 clips of ammo. (Each Clip has 8 bullets, This weapon is strong and pretty much instant kill but loud so will attract lots of near by zombies)

Your choices for skills are:
1) Sprinter (Trained to run, you can escape easily and scout better as well)
2) Killer (Slightly trained to kill, you can easily do moves that others can’t)
3) Defender (Trained in self defence, you can easily block and dodge attacks that otherwise is difficult)
4) Scavenger (Trained to to find, you can easily notice useful things in rubble increasing your chances of finding something)
5) Healer (Trained in first aid, you can tend to minor and some major wounds of team mates and yourself)

If you want to do anything, (Run away, attack, look around, heal member etc)
You post it and wait for my reply eg: I Look around rubble
You can’t say you find anything, I’ll tell you what you find.
If you are a scavenger, I’ll note this and favour your chances of finding food, weapons etc

You can’t kill each other
My character is a support character, meaning that I won’t actually be in the game all the time
I will arrive in and out and trigger events
You always have the option of helping me
If you do, Most of the time I’ll reward you
I’ll wait a few days or until we get about 3 players (Beside myself) before I start the game
Please check in everyday
Anyone who is away can be temporarily controlled by allies
If you die, You have the choice of being a zombie or staying dead until I let you start again

ZOMBIES:
The zombies in this RP are as follows
Weakened in day time
Will only infect you if you die or if the infection is too serious
Will not kill me :P

One last thing:
MY WORD IS FINAL!
And have FUN!

My character:
Name: Brand
Weapon: Pistol & 3 clips of ammo
Skill: Sprinter
Description: Medium build, fast runner, can do parkour (Only me not you unless I say you can), wears jeans and a long sleave shirt, 26 in age. (Go into more description if you desire)
Brief HIstory: The zombie apocalypse suddenly appeared and killed my family and friends, I swore revenge but decided to go solo helping whoever helps me. I am a lone wolf. (Go into more description if you want)

Also, Sorry for the long rules :P

Honestly, this doesn’t look half bad. It doesn’t have a Reserved for Lock, but that’s fine.

Name: Mirge
Weapon: Hammer & Knife
Skill: Healer
Description of Self: Relatively weak person, and average speed. She has brown hair, green eyes, and white skin. She is around 5’6’’ tall, weighs 137 lb. 24 years old.
Brief History: She was in a group of people near the area, that were all massacred before the apocalypse, so she studied medicine to help people in the future. When the apocalypse came, she took the nearest weapon, a hammer and a knife, and set out.

Description of self: 2 meters tall (METRICS FOR THE WIN) 95 kilos (210 lbs) and 30 years of age. Blonde hair, hazel eyes, fair skin. Fairly well built.
Brief History: Was in the buisiness of finding lost things for people in a room of junk for $$$. Had no formal gun training, but took it as payment instead of cash one time, good fortune.
I got here because a friend had a special case, and I couldn’t refuse. I was staying in a hotel at the time.

Name: Kallik

Meh, guess I could join another game.

Name: Joshua
Weapon: Fire axe (Hopefully more weapons can be gained…)
Skill: Killer
Description: I’m 7 feet tall, with a lean build. I have a few scars on my right cheek, but aren’t very noticable. My eyes are brown, whilst my hair is a coal black. I wear a gray short sleeve shirt, with dark blue pants. Upon my arms are several purplish bite marks. I am…16 years old…I think…
Brief history: I was just an ordinary teenager before they appeared, I played video games, went to school, the whole thing. The reason I know how to kill them so easily is because I watched so many zombie movies it wasn’t even funny. When they came though…I tried to help my friends but…but…it all failed in the end…I failed them. Now I’ve degraded in sanity, sometimes I see things that aren’t there, and hear voices from the past…or screams. I’ve recently broken into one of many stores, and took the axe and some supplies. Please…whoever is reading this…

End this cruel existence of mine

(Yep, I’m going to be the messed up guy. Not the badass murderer who ends up dying cause of stupidity of others.)

I like this. Sign me up!

Name: Drew

Weapons: Can I get a pistol and Knife instead? If not, I’ll take the Hammer and Knife.

Skill: Defender

Desc: Scars on face. Bible in pocket. Black hair, brown eyes, black jeans, black and gold hoodie.

Brief History: It was just another day, praciticing his martial arts when he was attacked. When one of my students came towards me. I got more then just how to test a move, the fucker bit me! The bites didn’t pierce my Gi under my hoodie, but it isn’t exactly designed to take bites like Leather. I wander around with my (WEAPONS HERE), not able to waste time looking for the keys to the lethal weapons cache, looking for survivors, specifically, my friend I hold so dearly, as she is the only one that truely shows she is happy to be with me, whereas others don’t care. I only hope it’s not too late…I may as well keep a pen, pencil and make-shift sharpener and a journal for all this madness. Can’t let this happen in the future.

Name: Ana
Weapon/s: Steel baseball bat
Skill: Defender
Description of self: Short (around 5’ ft) and 103 lbs. Semi-pale skin with dark hair and green eyes. Doesn’t talk much since she’s more of the quiet type, but is still friendly and will try to help others out. On the other hand, Ana also has an anger issue, and sometimes it gets out of hand. She’s currently 19 years old.
Brief History: Ana was in class when news of the breakout spread like wildfire. Her classmates began to freak out and scattered like roaches, leaving her alone in the auditorium. She was still in mild shock when someone came stumbling in, dragging a bat behind him. Realizing the guy was infected, she lunged at him and began to beat him to a bloody pulp after she’d taken the bat from him. Now covered in blood, she carefully planned her escape out of the building and into the streets, which were filled with corpses as well as the wounded. Ana made it home, and cleaned herself up after grabbing a bite. As the days went by, she had no choice but to go out for food, and she’s been out on the streets ever since.

Hi guy, we can now start this!
I will be able to go on at least once per day allowing everyone time to respond.
George,
Mirge,
Kallik,
Joshua,
Drew and
Ana
Is who is playing So I will start now.
Also if you don’t reply in the day, I will control your character temporaraly.
Ok so now for the actual RP:

You all wake up in a room.
The room is a small room with 2 huge metallic doors at the front and to the right.
You notice the rest of the room is metal as well.
Opposite the door on the side is a old bookshelf that leans against the wall.
Opposite the door at the front is a pile of rubble with a half broken table on top of it.
You notice me leaning against the front door looking outside through a small gap that slides open.
I close the gap and turn around to see all of you starting to wake up.

Hey, Glad to see you all awake!
I can’t believe the mess you guys were in.
Can you remember it?
There was a huge explosion!
No?
Ok, I’ll help you out.
First, You guys have time to serach through either the:
Bookshelf,
Pile of rubble
Or through the other door which is a armoury.
The bookshelf contains knowledge which can give you new skills or have hidden items in the books.
The rubble probably has old equipment such as medi kits or bags or belts to hold weapons.
The Armoury probably has some weapons that might be functional but dust and rubble could spoil it.
Make a decision quickly
I turn to look outside the gap

Not a bad game for a starter-out… By the way, could we organize our social structure so defending against the zombie horde is more efficient? Defenders will guard our safe house, Killers will clear out areas before we move into them and work with Scavengers to get food, as well as thin the zombie horde around our safe house if it gets too bad. Sprinters will scout out possible food and shelter areas, while Healers will be heavily protected as it’s their job to patch up everyone.

Name:Jet Clock
Weapon:Knife
Skill:Killer
Description:Jet Clock is agile and flexible. He has a thin frame and is pale. His eyes are the color of black ink drops swimming in milk and his hair is black and carelessly brushed back,
Brief History:[skip]

Jet Clock
“Aw shit, the zed are getting on my nerves. We only have time to search one of those? Meh. Let’s take the rubble. We already have weapons, and the rubble stuff is probably more practical at this stage than the book stuff.”

I start sifting through the rubble or weapon belts and the all important first aid kits.

Flag Post

Hi Jet Clock.
Also, That is not a bad idea but no.
It would be boring if you just stayed at 1 safe house too long.
Trust me, I tried…..
And thanks for the compliment
I have a storyline that I set out that I will change depending on what you guys do.
Also, You can give items to other players.
Jet clock, you also have a hammer.

Also In reply to Drew, you can only have the hammer and knife.

Now back to the actual RP:

(Bold means an action you are doing)
(Also, I’m just adding personality to your character using what I assume from your posts)
(If you want me to change your personality tell me)
Jet Clock searches through the rubble
He gets frustrated as he struggles to find anything
His hand brushes against a object that is obviously not rubble
He pulls it out and notices it is a Medi Kit
But he is disapointed as he notices it only has enough to heal 2 minor injuries or 1 major injury
He pulls it away from the rubble slightly disappointed as he notices a string attached to the medi kit
On the other side of the string is a tool belt that can hold his hammer and knife but nothing else

Actually, I was planning to have the survivors jump from safe house to safe house as the zombies overwhelm them one by one.

The process of switching safe houses would be like this:

1)Sprinter makes sure the safe house is relatively safe and has food and water around, as well as make sure it is easily protectable. If it fulfills all criteria, he informs the others.

2)Healer and Scavenger(the two classes which are not needed to move from house to house) carry food and supplies. Defenders escort the survivors to make sure they arrive there safely. Killers finish off any zombies hanging around their new house.

3)The survivors settle in and the Healers and Scavenger put all the supplies in their respective places, Defenders take up their guard positions(just inside the door and near windows), while Killers and Sprinters rest.

Flag Post

That is good and all, but if you don’t mind, I want to keep the way I intended.
Also, it sounds fun in Theory, but it might get repetitive even if I add twists to it.
Please take no offence in this….
Thanks for joining and the suggesting the ideas though, and maybe next time I can create another zombie game using strategy like you suggested.

Flag Post

But it’s the most practical and efficient way to survive…

In real life, you wouldn’t see people doing a Rambo into the middle of a zombie horde. Your game will become unrealistic and bloated.

And also, just a tip:let the players do what they want. Reward creativeness. If you offhandedly mention that the place they’re in is an oil refinery and a player decides to hurl an oil barrel towards a horde of zombies and shoot it so the explosion kills dozens of zombies, let him.

Flag Post

I know.
I only control what they find and stop them from just doing the rambo thing and it would be obvious to find a oil barrel in a oil factory.
You will get more freedom as the RP starts rolling and the fights actually start.
One last thing, You will find out later why you can’t stay in one place too long later in this RP, so just keep playing.

Flag Post

George
So I wake up in this room, with this strange man telling me that I can search only 1 place before zombies overrun us. Strange dream right? Well, no it is actually true, because I can’t pinch myself awake. Shit. I choose to look at the bookshelf because I can get things more easily out in the world.

Flag Post

Mirge

Right, so armory, bookshelf, rubble.

Armory would likely have many broken weapons, and I’m not particularly good with weapons. Bookshelf apparently has things on knowledge and possibly useful items, which sounds really nice. Rubble just contains useful things.

I search the bookshelves.

(In my opinion, we should find the most defendable safe house possible and defend it. Most likely a school or something. We shouldn’t just stay here; it only has one entrance. Which means there is only one exit. If zombies are coming in through said one entrance and we can’t handle them, we all die. The end.

However, jumping around is just as bad. We don’t get much opportunity to scavenge outside of the safe areas, and we get very tired. Also, we get zombies following us around, and eventually we’ll cause a horde to start building up.)

But hordes are fun! That is practically what zombie apocolypse games are about!

Hey guys.
(Brand has been in here looking after you guys for 2 days)

George
You can’t read any of the spines of the books because of the rips and dust.
You grab a random one and open it up and decide to read it.
You blow the dust away and skim through the book.
The book is hand written that tells you more about the zombies weaknesses.
You decide to recap out loud so everyone knows:
Zombies move slower in bright lights.
LED lights are an example
Sunlight not only slows zombies but also weakens them making them prone to any attack.
Any blow to the head will stun them.
Any blow anywhere else will work normally like on a person.
There are special zombies that mutated And have abilites.
Here is a list of those zombies:
You notice the rest is ripped or blurred beyond reading.
You are disapointed with your find but hear a small clatter at your feet.
You look down and pick up a plastic card.

Brand notices this and his eyes widen and he has a huge smile on his face.
Brand: that is a rare item! That is a key card that can open almost any door in warehouses to reveal undamaged goods if any.

Mirge
You as well grab the closest book and skim through it.
This book tells you how to manuvour around objects without slowing down.
You notice the complex techniques and manage to memorize basic moves.
(you can do basic parkour to get to allies or escape faster)
(You mainly learned how to vault over objects and to slide under objects)

Sounds like fun. Why don’t you make a zombie game?

Kallik
“May I borrow that book Mirge?” (Being a sprinter I want parkour abilities.)

Flag Post

Sorry, each book can be used once otherwise everyone would be overpowered….
But mainly there isn’t enough time.
So, search somewhere, you might get it next time.
Sorry.

HOw could this all have happened? I notice a particular man leaning against the wall. I deicde to choose the rubbled wall, as that seems to only funnel in 1 zombie at a time, which I could hold them off for a period. “Damn, Hell must have overflown…” Noticing a Armory, I immidetly run to it, to open the door to find…

Flag Post

George
I immediatly snatch the card and put it in my front <secret> pocket.
I begin frantically looking around the room until I realize something:
How did a book written before the apocolypse know of the zombies?!?!?!?
Now that I have broken the fourth wall, the zombies explode

I ask “what is next?”

Flag Post

Ana

“Hm, might as well search for something valuable.”
I head over to the pile of rubble and begin looking through it, hoping to find something the least bit helpful. If it was small enough to carry comfortably, then that would seal the deal.

Joshua

I look at the bookshelf, and after seeing that its being occupied already I decide to search the rubble. If I find anything really usefull I should give it to someone who needs it more. Out the corner of my eye dances one of many hallucinations of mine, this one being a decayed and rotten corpse of my brother.

Its all I can take to not cry or scream.
