Listing the trollish roles in my current mafia:

Mastermind.
Disguiser.
Silencer.
Turncoats.
Parnaoid townies/scum.
Burns Victim.
Priest’s target if Scum or Mastermind.

So yeah… at least half? Such a shame they didn’t lynch the priest.

A nightless mafia? Well, that is different (for Kong, anyway).

I’d like to be able to say that I could sign up and give this the time that it deserves (particularly for me, as an experienced player, to help the newer players). However, I’m not sure that that would be the case. I would know more in about 48 hours about whether I’d have time for this game, but by then I imagine that signups will be filled. So all I can say is good luck, and I hope that everyone learns something from this game.

What’s the point of using HoS? FoS does the exact same thing, except without casting suspicion on yourself.

All newbies, beware. If you’re mafia and I’m townie(or vice versa), a single slip in logic, sequence of events(meaning you say something that contradicts what you previously said) or any suspicious behaviour will result in a text wall picking apart your mistakes and putting them in the limelight, after which an FoS or vote will follow, as appropriate.

[For example, a slip in logic, like “we should vote this player because he voted for so-and-so, who turned out to be a townie” will get FoS, because it’s very likely that the player was simply participating in some bandwagon or genuinely thought the townie was a mafia because of suspicious behaviour.

On the other hand, if you say at first “this player PMed a roleclaim to me that he was townie” and then say later on that the player did not PM you at all, you will get a vote because you contradicted yourself, which means you’re lying, which usually means you’re scum. Or you could be a very confused VI that is easily scapegoated and bandwagoned, if I’m mafia.]

[I’ve never actually used HoS or even seen it used. I only remember it from when AN told me about it. But if someone does use HoS, it’s usually worth paying more attention to. After all, this player is apparently risking themselves.]
