EBWOP: Bluji, if you haven’t already seen my latest posts in the master FGF thread, please do so before starting D2. KDM’s response makes me wonder how serious what I just did is.

If my master thread actions would get me modkilled, will anybody that targeted me with something be able to pick a new target for N1?

I’d have posted this through a shout or whisper, but my 3DS didn’t like that idea.

(Also, please don’t read my spoilers while this game’s running unless you’re Bluji, you’re not playing or a reserve, or Bluji says you can read ‘em. Given what they’re about, though, I don’t think will Bluji give you a green light for reading them.)

Day 2 Begins

Oasis – Wonderwall

After the ramble of day 1, the town leader Bluji decided that RaceBandit had done something completely unacceptable – he had talked about the mafia hunt to his friendly giraffe friends and that’s totally forbidden by the rules of the elephant village, so he had to be modkilled! And after he had been killed, the village people went through his stuff to only find out he really was on the town’s side. He was the Elephant 1-Shot Daykiller.

The night passed and the town woke up to a new day. After drinking their morning coffees and teas, they decided to see who were killed. The first victim, Knoob85687, seemed to be some kind of a cultist (sheesh!) and to be more accurate, a cult leader! The town thought it was a good thing, though. They had got one of the non pro-town roles out.

The next person to be found dead was S_98. His house was full of different languaged dictionaries, and it was clear he was the one and only Elephant Post Restrictor. He had died when his Finnish-English-Finnish dictionary had fallen onto his head. But what was the weirdest that he was wearing the same necklace as Knoob… Had Knoob recruited him to be a cultist that night? Nobody could answer that question.

And the final missing person seemed to be devourer359, who was found near the village’s hospital. The town folks found evidence of him being the Elephant CPR Doctor, so they assumed it was kind of a good thing that he had died. They had lost a protective role, but also one of the killing roles.

Well, for all that talk about not wanting to lynch a townie, RaceBandit caused two townies to die: Kidudeman because of his daykill, and himself for breaking a rule.

Kidude was town, and I tend to believe that the others who were arguing against a no-lynch yesterday are also pro-town (notably Vara, and likely ocelot as well).

It’s good that we got the cult out of the way, as that could have turned out to be really dangerous given enough time (as an aside to S_98, you weren’t told that you were part of the cult because you were only recruited last night, right when you died).

S_98 did have some questionable logic concerning the mathematics behind a no-lynch yesterday, so it’s not real surprising to see that he died. I guess someone just has a personal vendetta against Knoob, as he indeed successfully predicted his death.

What is interesting is the killing of devourer. Really the only notable thing he did yesterday was ask if the mafia knew each other—which I guess was a legitimate question in this crazy confusing game. Maybe he died because of a misdirected kill, who knows.

So where does that leave us? Well, I’m mildly surprised that myhome16 is still alive after receiving quite a bit of attention yesterday—perhaps he’s mafia, or perhaps he received protection.

Anyway, I’m not going to vote yet—just sharing my thoughts.

My best bet for Devourer was that he was targeted randomly, perhaps by an inexperienced killer or just bad luck. I withhold my vote as well.
