There is something I don’t understand about C ults:

Cults are like zombies, right? They “infect” people and those people join a Cult.

Just because you join a Cult doesn’t mean you die, right?

Why is a Cult bad?

[If the Cult wins, the Town can’t. The Town is generally considered to be the good side because it’s the biggest, and usually Cults need to be 50% of the Town population and sometimes kill off the Mafia to win, which is why Town is always the good side when compared to the Cult.]

But cultists still allow even townies to win, so they aren’t top priority?

[Presumably. But they damage the Town’s population, and everyone acts under the pretense that the Town winning is their goal.]

Knoob is right; with the evidence we have I’d much rather lynch somebody suspicious. At the moment that means someone encouraging No Lynch votes; e.g. RaceBandit.

Sorry, I read (one of) Knoob’s posts, didn’t see yours and just replied quickly.
I withdraw my vote on RaceBandit.

[I’ve been thinking about it, and that doesn’t necessarily disprove you as Mafia, Facebandit. Assuming that the unvote wasn’t just an excuse to change your vote because of the growing bandwagon on you, there also remains the fact that the Mafia hate the Cult as well. At best, you’re probably not the Cult, and could be a Mafia or Townie. At worst, you’re using the Cult as an excuse to change your vote and could be the Cult and are likely a Mafia. I’m going to think upon this some more, but I’m likely not going to change my vote, especially since it seems the bloody NL is going through.]

I wasn’t worried about the bandwagon as much as the reason. I know I can’t get enough of you to unvote, but I certainly don’t want to be lynched for an outdated reason.

It’s not a 100% chance that a jester wouldn’t say that. Are you trying to use reverse psychology to imply that you are a jester by bringing a jester up? Because jesters tend to defend themselves when voted. It makes them less suspicious as jesters.

Oh? Clearly I don’t know enough about Mafia strategy to tell tells apart. If that makes aby sense.

Hmm, it seems like everyone I’ve voted for changes their mind shortly thereafter. Yet, I have to vote for someone—the deadline is approaching and No Lynch is still leading. I’m going to keep my vote on RaceBandit for now, but hopefully I’ll wake up early enough to check this thread before the deadline and see what is said between now and then.

Fortunately for me, my exam ends today, so I’ll have some time for some last-minute thinking.

If it weren’t for the cult, I’d have left my vote on NL, but with culting being “invisible”, I’ve lost a bit of faith in our powers.
