You sneak onto an armed frigate while it is hovering near the asteroids. You fight through to the bridge when your plan falls apart. It takes an entire crew to operate this vehicle. You have two options: Set the ship to destroy itself and fall into the sun, or dump its entire multi-million dollar load of ores into space where Nyi-Zog can send scavengers to collect it. The latter takes quite a bit longer than the former. Perhaps it is time to cut your losses and leave.

I think you forgot the 3rd option. Abandoning the old spaceship for this one. But…

Lets send a message to Zog about this idea. If he likes it, we execute that.

Take over the ship as an AI. My logic being that since the MC is an A.I, we could take control of all the systems needed to control the ship.

You can’t use it. It needs at least 200 trained crew-members. All you can do is throw it into the sun or dump the cargo.

Terminate it, but not before stealing one easily gained weapon system.

Loot it and then discard it into the star.
