“Forgot my name already, huh?” I say, slightly insulted, I mean, it’s not a hard name, four letters and easy to say, LEE-TA. “And you’re the one with the hard name” I conclude under my breath.

“Well,” I say, “that could have gone better.” I look down at my newly forged weapon in confused disappointment. I don’t know whether to feel unhappy because it didn’t turn out to be a beautiful scepter-like weapon or happy that it turned out to be a heavy zweihaender. Either way, I head toward the training grounds with my new weapon in hand.
I unleash a large, wavy slash down onto the straw-bound dummy. The thing was completely destroyed by the massive strike. I feel relief beyond measure when I remember that I don’t have to pay for training property damage. “Yes,” I think aloud, “this is a very good sword, it suits my style too. Could this get better?” It could…
I decide to check up on the mission board again, although I will probably rest for the night before taking on a new assignment. The feel of manipulating the crushing power of my blade is exhilarating… I can’t wait to see how it works on the job.

Ok here’s what I have planned for the next few parts of the game.
@recruitment group. Your going to drive to Shawn’s school. After you find him your going to meet 1-2 monsters and fight them off. Next, your going to drive to Shawn’s house and after you pick him up you get attacked by 4-6 monsters including several skeletons.
@Everyone else. Your going to find some monsters close to camp again and have to fight them off. (sorry that’s really all I have planned until the other group gets back.)
@All. since everyone’s god has been revealed you can start using small manifestations of their power.

John I’m sleeping when I hear a shout. I dash outside and see several minotaurs in the forest. I grab my halberd and start yelling ‘minotaurs!’ Then I charge at one away from the main group.

Lying down, my head facing the ceiling, I ponder how I will choose to attempt manifesting Hermes’ powers, when I hear a voice, possibly John’s, shout “minotaurs!”
Jumping up, I grab my scythe, securing it in my left hand, and I dart towards the door, reaching over with my right hand as I sprint outside. Swinging my scythe in the air, I bring it down into a secure grip, and spot John attacking a minotaur.
Hoping to regroup with John so as to have a better chance at overcoming the enemies, I slip on the other side of the minotaur John in charging. He can’t take on both of us, I tell myself, as I cry out so John can tell I’m there.

John I hear a cry and see Alex circling around, appearing to be trying to get behind the minotaur. At this point the minotaur lashes out and nearly knocks my halberd out of my hands. I try to strike it but it deflects my shot. I realize I won’t kill him unless someone gets behind him.

Spotting the trouble John is in, I charge at the minotaur from behind, lashing out with my scythe with simultaneously attempting to sweep it’s feet, knocking the minotaur down.

John As Alex knocks the minotaur down, I dodge its lash and strike it on the skull with halberd, smashing its skull. As I pull my halberd free, two minotaurs charge form the trees

Spinning around to confront the two minotaurs, I shout “let’s take out the one on the right first,” and I charge forward, blocking a strike from the minotaur, upon which I rapidly bring my scythe down for two quick strikes on the minotaur’s torso, and get back into a guarding stance.

“Geez calm down.” I make a little spark come out of my finger tips, “intersting, so having the king of gods as my god makes me the leader right?” I say with half ’don’t give a shit voice’ and a cocky smile.

John I step towards the minotaur, and he swings its sword at me. I block it and lock blades with the minotaur. ‘AAAH. Quick, stab it in the back!’

Running forward, I do as commanded, bringing my scythe down and slamming the blade into the minotaur’s back, upon which the minotaur drops like a stone. Gazing around, I turn just in time as I barely manage to roll away from the blow of another minotaur. Getting up, I ready myself for more combat.

John I cut the legs out from the under the other minotaur, getting a slight nick of its blade on the arm. As it crashes to the ground I slam the halberd into its skull, killing it. ‘Ah, damn it. This is so tedious.’

I agree," I say, as I spot another Minotaur charging in. "This may fare better for us if we were to attempt to channel our parents’ powers.

John ‘Well, they’d be a bit raw right now, but we could try, I guess.’ I strike at the minotaur, and sparks fly where I clash blades. we both freeze, the other one looking at other like ‘’was that you?’’ I strike again and this time I connect and Minotaur’s fur bursts into flames. It claws at itself as it burns. ‘Okay… raw but powerful. Oh no I’m getting sleepy now…’

The sound of screaming and scent of smoke wakes me up. Thankfully, it’s morning, or some hellion would have received a stern talking-to. I look out the window and see that a battle is going on near the forest. Sighing, I take my time getting ready for the day, then I take up my sword, which I lovingly christened Avernus. I rush to the battle and excitedly brandish my giant blade. I charge at an oncoming minotaur and deliver one heavy slash to its abdominal region. The sheer force knocks the two halves of its body yards away.
“That felt incredible,” I think, “urgh…” This weapon takes a lot out of me. Panting, I recover energy while slowly walking back when suddenly, two other minotaurs come along, one stabbing me in the back with a sword.
I fell a strange sensation flow around my entire body. In a flash, every bad memory from my past replays itself in my mind. All feelings of pain from the stab reach my brain and are instantly overwhelmed by a feeling of uncontrollable rage. I feel faint and lose consciousness.
I awaken on the ground, my wound surprisingly healed, I wonder who bandaged it up. I arise slowly and painfully from the ground. I feel pure shock and fear when I notice the scorched fragments of minotaurs scattered on the ground.
“What the h-?” I begin saying, but I am interrupted as unconsciousness grips my brain.

Quickly letting my scythe drop to the floor, I catch John, and begin to set him down gently just when I spot Dirk running out, brandishing a new weapon. Looking over, I spot him getting stabbed, and begin sprinting over, having grabbed my weapon, only to suddenly be knocked back several feet…
Picking myself up off of the ground, I spot Dirk and John, both unconscious, and then my eyes widen as I see the demolished fragments of various minotaurs’ bodies. My jaw dropping, my head feels as if it’s spiraling, and I have no clue what to think. As I notice the lack of live monsters in sight, I begin to truly see the capability of us demi-gods.
Shaking off the fear, I walk over to Dirk and John, set on discovering if they were alright, and also on figuring out what the hell had just happened!

[I didn’t use any powers yet. However, considering that they were both Hades’ children using powers in the same area, their powers may have been significantly amplified.]

Good point. Also adreniline can amplify your powers, but you won’t be able to perform those powers on command.

I open my eyes and, without getting up, carefully turn my head and see Alex, standing, and John, on the ground. I feel like I shouldn’t exert myself now. I reflect on what occurred, thinking, “What happened? I remember destroying one minotaur, but after some sharp pain in my back, I can’t remember anything else. Why are those chunks of monsters scattered around? Why were they scorched? Why was there smoke? Why is John down too? And why isn’t Alex?” I wonder all these things, but consider myself lucky and probably watched over by some greater force by now. I mean, I could have died back there, why didn’t I? Turning my head again, I see my sword, now lying in two halves on the ground. Even broken, it still looks marvelous. I turn my head one last time toward Alex and consider how lucky I am that there is this friendly half-blood to guard me until I can move again. Still feeling exhausted, I decide to sleep for a while. If I need to be woken, I’d might as well be ready for action.

Upon discovering Dirk and John were alive, I picked up my scythe carefully, looking for damage. Concluded it was slightly messed up, but still usable, I hefted it up with both hands and paced around, watching for more minotaurs. Finding no minotaurs in the area, I return to Dirk and John. Should I wait for them to recover here, get help, or take them back to camp? Wondering what to do, I realize I must make a decision soon.
