Malidius
Malidius didn’t had anything to protect from the stench, so he had to go without it. He also light the torch. The stench was bad, but he could withstand it. At least at the current moment. Sure. I’ll try to look out for something. Just noting that I am capable of first aid, and healing wounds with magic. And poisons, slightly, but I still can heal them somehow. I wonder what could live in such stench, though. It’s like if something was rotting… or even worse.

As he walked on, he said: “I am a leader and a laborer. Thanks to leadership, we have some nice defensive bonuses. For example, you will be more likely to gain defensive abilities, and defensive stats are cheaper to train.”

Just then, however, 3 zombies emerged.

Malidius, being intelligent, thought of something. Zombies are typically undead, and heal magic heals alive things. Then, undead monsters would be hurt by heal, right? Malidius cast healing spell on zombies, in hope of hurting it. That eliminated the risk of melee, as the current melee weapon isn’t too good. Goblins are one, but zombies are tougher.

(should purchase dustmasks, your class can utilize them – 15cc each.)

It worked! And surprsingly more effective than magic missle to boot, though that magic had its perks. Thedrick used his whip at that time, lashing at the zombie malidius had attacked. Two quick lashes eliminated it, though he could really use two points in strength. The zombies seemed a little on the easy side, though.

It was… too easy. Expected more challenge. Something says that is barely a threat compared to what we could fin-
Suddenly, a slight earthquake. It wasn’t devastating, but powerful enough to be felt. …this area is tectonically active. Oh well, you should expect that in an earth area. They need to be careful now, as earthquakes can be devastating, directly or non-directly. If zombies were here, they can expect something other that’s undead, or at least undead-like

It didnt feel like a quake, but that was a sign. Eliminating the other two zombies was quick and easy, but rewarding. Then they proceeded to notice a cave on the side of a mountain. The enterance had no myst.

Taking off the dustmask, he noticed it had already gone bad. Darn that, good thing he had several dustmasks then. He disposed of the mask, then waited for Malidius.

Party gains 65 exp each

The stench is getting worse… the hell is out there? …Well, maybe there is a swamp out there in forest, with its inhabitants. But, it’s just a wild shot. What’s actually emitting this stench, I don’t know. We need to find some resources, though. In forest, there should some herbs… they could have an use.

You noticed the cave that thedrick was in. A chest would be there for you.

Thedrick

I used_training_ on myself to develop my maneuverability. In addition to gaining abilities, it could grant exp and physicals as well. Utilizing what little wisdom I had, I practiced my lashing techniques, then executed calesthenics.

Thedrick now has 1 point in dexterity and reflexes

He opens the chest, in hope for some useful stuff. I hear some voices in the cave, that was most likely Thedrick… or something else. Anyway, the stench isn’t as awful as outside… If I had herbs, and alchemy tools, I could create some potions… but I have neither herbs, nor tools.

It was five dustmasks. Nothing much, but would greatly help in this myst.

Thedrick

Approaching Malidius, thedrick had a preposition. “Its high time we developed ourselves thanks to my Leadership potentials. How about I help us to gain some considerable exp and physicals? Just gained training.” Thedrick said, munching on a ration. He felt a little hungry presently.

Finally acquiring the dustmasks, he equips one, finally being able to breath normally, and be more efficient. Sure, why not. We need to watch out, though… zombies emerged from nowhere, it seems. Everything here could be a potential threat, be it a tree or will-o-the-wisp. If I trained enough, perhaps I could instead use a spell to create a light source. It shouldn’t be too hard to learn. he said, as he went outside, and started to focus on his thoughts, then tried looking out for some useful things like herbs.

Malidius found two herbs at that time, but the cave had no stench. Thanks to his senses, his could tell, though.
After 15 minutes tutelage from thedrick, Malidius noticed herself maneuvering a little better, along with becoming a bit more used to battles. Thedrick used this to further their exp levels as well.

Results:
Both gain 65 exp.
Thedrick’s Int is now TWO POINTS!
Malidius’s Dex and Refl are now 1 point. Charisma rises to t

These herbs potentially could have an use… if I had tools to crush or make something from them, like alembic. But I don’t have any, yet. I should keep them, though. He went to search something more… and then he planned to return to Thedrick to see what he managed to do.

He was still training in the caves, little more said. But all this training mandated they stay in one position. This time, he was developing his adventuring potentials, along with his defenses. But little came of it save a notable dosage of exp for him.

Comradery V1 – Based on your spirit, for each ally present, your defenses and morale slightly improves.

Malidius was still exploring caves, in hope of finding alchemy tools. He found a chest after a while. Inside was an empty flask. It could be used in alchemy, or something else… They need to find a place to sleep, though, as he was a little sleepy by now… maybe due to the stench making him weaker. But first they need to find whatever is hiding in this forest. Well, anything that is making this stench must be somewhere here. But where?

The cave began branching off, but the myst was in those areas. Just then, however, 2 more zombies came from those entries.
You noticed a chest, which would have 35 cc and a holy water(remedies curse).

gained 35 exp

However, should you try to enter those myst filled places, something would just keep you from them, and zombies would emerge.

you now have 1 point of health

Thedrick

finally the trainng paid off, with a good physical boost. With this done, along with gaining a health point due to the situation, thedrick felt sorta better now.
He decided to find Malidius.

Stat Changes: 1 health and 2 strength now.

With Thedrick being missing somewhere, Malidius had to fight without him. He fought zombies the same way as before, by casting a healing spell on them. That was surely effective, but it took some times, and the fight wasn’t one-sided. He wasn’t going to lose, despite that it was hard to fight in cave…

You were beginning of manna even with a point of manna, and it would take a while to recover such. On the other side of the coin, however, the zombies were easily defeated this time out.

Entering the caves now, he quickly noticed some passages there, and saw that they were myst filled. Just then, however, both felt the quakes again, and this time, they felt fairly close. Thedrick had a sinking feeling that a major boss was about to show itself…

Dawning a dustmask, he proceeded down one of the corridors.
