[Mafia] And Then There Was One [Lawrence Wins] (locked)

This is a mafia game in which there will be ten players. There will be one single scum, the completely insane murderer who wants everybody but themselves dead: but you may refer to him as Lawrence or the SK.

Unlike traditional Mafias, this game will neither be held in rounds nor will it have nights.

Lawrence gets to kill another player by PMing the host, me, the IGN of that player every 48 hours. It is encouraged for them to PM me the victim’s IGN beforehand so that I may post the in game death as close to the dot as possible.

To prove that you’ve at least skimmed over some of the things I’m typing out for you, like a kind host, put a ‘z’ followed by a vowel and two more consonants somewhere in your post — your sign will be invalidated if this string of letters is the same as somebody else’s. If your string of letters is either identical to another or is just plain wrong, I’m going to let you figure it out and fix it on your own before I add you to the list of players.

The Townies’ only hope is to uncover and lynch Lawrence before he can kill everybody else. Lynches may happen as frequently as the Townies desire, or as rarely. However, if they don’t take action quickly enough, they will have no choice but to be picked off one by one.

Lynches take place when the majority of the remaining players vote for the same person. This may seem like a bit of a stretch, but a clock is ticking until they all die anyways.

Now, on to the incredibly important subject of win conditions.

Lawrence will win when he is one of two players left alive.

The townies will win, living to die another day, 48 hours after the last kill — assuming that Lawrence has successfully been lynched. Note that you must be alive at the end of the game for this to count towards your wins.

This means that each time somebody is lynched, you won’t know if you brutally murdered the right person until you see if somebody else dies when the time comes.

Sounds interesting enough, so I will sign. However, I would change this rule a bit:

Lynches take place when half (or the majority, if an odd number of players remain) of the remaining players vote for the same person.

If there are ten players alive and five of them vote for the same person, the other ten players can still vote another person and it ends up in a tie situation. That’s why I’d suggest you’d change it to:

Lynches take place when the majority of the remaining players vote for the same person.
