Description
The game is going to be a strategy. You start off with a small producing town and later grow into a huge empire striving to conquer all the other huge empires. There will be a lot of management in this map as you will have 3 different resources. These resources will be Iron, Research, Coins. You can trade any of these resources with any neighboring countries, if they wish to that is.

Mechanics
This map uses 3 different type of troops to conquer land in the game, these are Footmen, Cavalry and Frigates. Footmen are early game units, when cavalry and frigates are available later on.

There are 3 types of tiles on the map. Green ones are cities, red ones are villages and blue ones are fishing spots. Each tile grants its own bonus. You need to manipulate these bonuses and win your enemies in a fair battle.

Green tile:
Population growth 4
Income: 25% iron, 50% research, 25% coins

Red tile:
Population growth 8
Income: 25% coins, 25% research, 50% iron

Blue tile:
Population growth 3
Income: 25% research, 50% coins, 25% iron

Map

Here is the map for you to chose your starting location. For starters you need to chose 2 red ones and one green tile! And don’t forget the color. Activity in this game is advised!

So how to finish your sign ups?

Fighting Mechanics

Basicly fights are done by rounds. Each round [ attacker starts ] does damage to the enemy team. Example:

Round 1

Attacker

  • 10 footman

Defender

  • 8 footman

8 footman hp – 10 footman attack [ 80 – 50 = 30 ] 30 hp means 3 footmen were left alive.
10 footman hp – 8 footman attack [ 100 – 40 = 60 ] 60 hp means 6 footman were left alive.

Round 2 Goes the same way.

Attacker

  • 6 footman

Defender

  • 3 footman

3 footman hp – 6 footman attack [ 30 – 30 = 0 ] 0 hp means 0 footmen were left alive.
6 footman hp – 3 footman attack [ 60 – 15 = 45 ] 45 hp means 5 footman were left alive.

Footmen always die first after cavarly and then frigates. All battles are calculated by ME you dont need to do anything hard! But you can see a log from any major battle if you wish.
Researches are calculated in of course.

Capturing and movement Mechanics

When capturing a green or red tile, the tile loses 20% of its population as a penaulty. In blue tiles, whenever a blue tile is captured in a area [ areas are numbered ] all blue tiles of the defender lose 10% of population. Unless they have the “organization” research.

To capture a tile you simply need to attack it.

Troops can move between tiles freely on one area, but it takes one turn to move from a area to another.

Footmen and cavarly reguire frigates to move on the sea [ blue tile area ].

Cavarly can move two areas a turn, but can only attack one tile.

Frigates can move two areas a turn, but can capture all the tiles on one area if they have the manpower.

Other Mechanics

On resources, the first number is your current situation and the + is your income.

On the tiles the first number indicates the area, and the number with a “p” indicates its population. That areas troops are displayed below the area if it contains any.

We need a Frigate to even get access to a blue tile, right?

You should also call red tiles mines because they primarily produce iron, right?

I unsign from this game, because I’ve taken a look at the mechanics and decided it’s too stat based.

Yes you need a frigate for blue tiles. And red tiles are “mines” but il prefer calling them by their color.

Turn One

Here is things that you may do at your turn!

  1. Check your recourse situation, and situation with attack. Maybe someone is attacking you. You can see this from the other players posts. Or troop movements to react to his or their actions.
  2. Decide if you want to train any troops or do any researches, researching and troop recruitment is instant and you can use your forces one turn after recruitment order at any of your tiles.
  3. Attack or move troops from areas to areas.
  4. Wait for the next turn.

Its not that hard or time consuming to do all of this, unless you want to be a great strategist and use your brain to defeat your enemies. Now go on and start raiding your enemies! If you have any questions ask them away.

Do the empty spaces put up any resistance?

Empty spots have no resistance, but start with 0 population when conquered. When you conquer a enemy tile there is a population reducement penalty so if there’s many fights in one tile it’s population might reduce to a point when recapturing is not in your advantage.

Buy 3 footmen.
Attack Red-12, Red-16 and Green-16 with one footman each.
