Explanation:
The idea behind this game is to have a monopoly on the entire planet.
You begin with 3 permanent societies, and a main leader. It’s turn based, doing 1 turn aday, unless everyone has taken a turn.
Other than that, its just a freelance game where you develop your ‘merchant brigade’.
Player Config:
Player Name: Explanitory.
Species: Name the ‘race’ your character is.
Bio: A history of your character. Whatever you do, don’t be lazy with this.
League: Say the name and focus of your league.
Levels: These all begin on Lv1 of 10 levels. You get 15 pts. Every level costs 1 more point than the last, save the income level which is always 1 for 1 level on config.
The levels are physical, mental, social, spiritual, and income.
On making, I will explain the levels in more detail.
Society Config:
You begin with 3 communities. Any unused features results in a ‘size boost’ to the community.
Name:
Explain: Explain this community. No laziness as usual…
Focuses: Up to three. This determines the main purpose of the society, min is 1.
Turfs: Up to three different landforms. Has an impact on most markets and such.
Buildings: You get 2 markets per place. Choose amoungst these – Resources, Items, Equips, Vehicles, Abilities, Buildings, Academy, Agency, and Citadel.
(hint) You must have at least resources, items, buildings, and agency for your buildings.

Level and Society Explanations:
Physical – How much ‘load’ a merchant can utilize. Equips, items, and vechs can change this. Also affects how far they can travel.
Mental – Your skill in learning new abilities. Higher means stronger techniques.
Social – Negotiations come better and easier with this. Also affects relations.
Spiritual – Your personal essence. Makes abilities stronger generally.
Academies are how the levels grow further, but it takes time an income other than in the start.
Agencies let you hire recruits into your league, making it very useful.
Citadels are used to develop and use ‘elite arts’, but thats VERY expensive to muster.
Now, each community can have up to 3 buildings, and multiples are much better. Further, your first three are only lost if you go bankrupt.
Leagues:
People in the same league actually share communities. This can help to encourage comradery and leadership.
You see, its if the league, not the player, that goes bankrupt that causes you to loose.
Leagues will play a role in deciding what potentials exist in each community as well, so explain it well, if your in one.

Explaining my bio
Physical Traits: (lv3)
Max Load: 15 pts.
Base Travel: 7 units per turn.
Mental Traits: (lv2)
This allows for the basic abilities of the game, and little else. It’s still rather useful, but not too…
Social Traits: (lv3)
At this level of socialism, there is a 50% bonus to the standard length of any contract, along with reduced costs and increased preference when you are willing to support a communities main focus.
It also gives you information about basic supply and demand requests.
Spiritual Traits: (lv2)
This person has a small spiritual essence, giving him an edge in using his abilities, but it’s a little below the norm.
Income: (lv6)
$125k startup, with a 30% discount on all products.

On another note:
This is probably one of the better games you have produced.
I might think of joining this. Maybe.
After I type up a lab report.

You can join anytime… but I am beginning now.
To play, just have your merchants enter a building and interact with it. Now, the travel points are basicly your actions. 1 travel point converts into 5 action points. One purchase
in a building costs 1 action, usually. Just choose ONE thing, and any number.
I will enter the resource markets in Alderra. 2 of a mart = up to 15 features.
Alderran Resources
Wheat – 5 chips each. Raw food, unusable at this point.
Potatos – 15 chips each. Raw food, unusable at this point.
Barley – 8 chips each. Raw food, unusable at this point.
Timber – 35 chips each. Just a simple piece of timber. Average price.
Metals – 35 chips each. The basic raw metal, often used for equipments.
Coal – 45 chips each. Used primarily for generators, usually steam.
Alloys – 65 chips each. Alloys are important for vehicles and buildings.
Alder Pine – 45 chips each. A form of timber good for quality buildings.
Wool – 35 chips each. This wool looks to be of rather high quality.
Cedar Pine – 55 chips each. A special form of timber that is good for shipbuilding, camping and archery.
I will purchase 5 pieces of wheat and potatos. (100 spent, 124.9k left.)
More actions later.

Developous, you can’t leave 6 hours sign-up time and then start playing alone. You need to give people time to signup. Most people won’t want to join a game in progress.

Implying that Developous was ever good to argue with.
But come on, you shouldn’t mention this in his game thread. There is no need to derail it.

[I should have known this was a dev game when I saw the “ready” thing.]
[Actually this isn’t half bad. No Nexus shit, no warp gates, no hazmat suits.]

Wow. This is the type of game I favor the most. It is just seldom pulled off well. That is why there are none left. The last I can remember coming close was W0LV.’s civilization clone.

Hmm, this one doesn’t seem that good anyhow. Problem is… your cursed ‘one game a week’ law.
If it’s so bad… then TELL ME – how do I make it better? I cannot guarantee that I will heed, but its by far better to state your complaints than to just say its bad.

What law? We don’t have any laws saying “One game a week”. We don’t have any laws at all.

It’s a little bit to complicated, try eliminating some of the fields that people have to fill out to join.

That law exists, there was a fuss over it at some point.

Step 1: Ask this question in the Choose My Next Game Thread before making the game.
[Fyi, you have been given another chance Dev. As long as you listen to what people say and want, no large arguments need to be caused again.]
