1 is wrong and I don’t think I can give you 2 yet because ‘host races rut’ clearly isn’t right :P

  1. is correct and you’re missing one very important word out for #2.

Yes. I don’t know what I’m going to do about points now because I really don’t want to give 0.25 of a point.

Also, no puzzle tonight :(

Flag Post

Aw, I’m too late..

I suppose splitting it 33/34 of a point for me and 1/34 for Bluji would be fair since that’s how many words we each added in.

>samsam doesn’t want to add even .25 points
>try to make him add .97

Honestly. I think you should give it all to funiax.

Sorry Blu, I’m gonna give it all to funiax. :P

Puzzle 121:

Answer both of these for a point.

1) Which four letter word can be placed before all the following words?

WATER, COLOURED, CUT, WOOD, COMB, BOWL

2) Which of these letters is the odd one out?

A, F, H, K, L, N

Flag Post

Number one is rose

Number two could be a lot of things. I’ll go the easy route and say A because it’s the only vowel

Flag Post

2 A because it a vowel or would it be that simple

Flag Post

2) L because it takes 2 lines to write as compared to 3 lines with the other letters

Flag Post

2 is N.
Hint: the alphabetical ordering is accidental.

Flag Post

thirdslip and afklol both get a point.

Flag Post

I figured the fact that A, F, H, K & L all appear on the second row of a keyboard (in that order, too) was a better answer. Then again, maybe you just gave us 6 randomly selected letters and awarded the half point to whoever gave the best reason.

Flag Post

No, that was genuinely the intended reason.

Puzzle 122:

Bog-standard sudoku today.
